Has anyone seen the 50 greatest movies you've never seen in Entertainment Weekly like 2 weeks ago? Some of those movies were awesome.
Today I'm watching Death At A Funeral...because the person who gave me the movies said I'd like that one a lot because I like the Madea movies and they're apparently similar? We'll see.
I really liked Fight Club though I thought it was weird o_O but yeah, it was a good show. I think I'll watch Zombieland or Due Date next.
Zombieland is awesome and hilarious. Also, I won't spoil it for you, but it has one of the BEST random celebrity cameos ever! ;)
You're definitely right about that one OPD! Zombieland is one of my favorites.
I'll watch that one tomorrow...I think they just met Emma Stone and Abigail Breslin where I left off but it's been a while since I saw it...
Recommending Silent House, ATM, 21 Jump Street.
He's tripping, TOG, DAAF is nothing like Madea movies which are pretty funny as well. You'll like both of them excluding Diary.
I agree it wasn't really like Madea...but it was still really funny.
Compliance Trailer (Official HD Trailer from Magnolia Pictures) - YouTube I. must. watch. this. my therapist saw it at sundance and said it was outstanding.
This is one of the best movies I've seen. I highly recommend it. Stuart A Life Backwards Trailer - YouTube
I liked Black Swan. Mila Kunis is the reason.
I liked Black Swan. Mila Kunis is the reason.
Yes! A totally great movie.
I liked Black Swan. Mila Kunis is the reason.
Mila Kunis is so sexy. I'd watch it because she's in it haha. If its good, its a bonus.
Anyone see Dark Knight Rises? And how good was it 1-10
OMG, I was just coming here to mention DKR. I swear once again Vevmo users are reading my mind. -_- It was pretty decent but Not a big Bane fan.
Anyone see Dark Knight Rises? And how good was it 1-10
I was just dragged to see it and legit fell asleep. I rarely don't like movies...I didn't like it. I'll give it a 3.5 but I seem to be a minority in that sense.
I am currently watching Due Date, and I saw Wanderlust last night...that one was really funny, I'd recommend it.
Not a big Bane fan? He was the best part of the movie. He's the reason I'm running away to marry Tom Hardy. My God! That man can act. Watch: Warrior, Rocknrolla, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, Wuthering Heights, The Virgin Queen, Bronson, Inception, This Means War, or anything else he's done. He's transformative. Those are all fantastic films. This one comes out this month. http://youtu.be/csLbNO5cYSM
What are some movies you have recently seen and DIDN'T like? For me, off the top of my head: Dark Knight Rises Jack & Jill The Big Year The Avengers ...there are some others I can't think of them right now though

I didn't like the new Madea movie... whatever it was called. Battleship started really slowly.. but I liked it by the end. I LOOOOOVED The Avengers and DKR. I think you're crazy. lol

I loved the Dark Knight Rises. To be honest I haven't even seen any of the other C.B. Batmans but I thought this one was everything it should be. And I really loved Anne Hathaway as catwoman. Now as far as redbox rentals go has anyone seen American Reunion? If so, is it any good? I just want to get it for nostalgia purposes as the original came out when I was in high school and it was one of my faves back then. I was in love with Chris Klein! And I even liked the guy from the kids movie Rookie of the Year that played Tara Reids boyfriend, he was my childhood crush. As well as JTT (that's Jonathan Taylor Thomas for all you kids born in the 90's) Anyhoo, any redbox suggestions lemme know!

I was surprised how much I laughed at it. If you want to see something weird, drama-y and indie....Loosies is pretty good i guess. I feel like i'm the last person in the world to see 21 Jump Street, but if you haven't seen it, watch that one too. I'm planning to watch American Reunion and Harold & Kumar XMas next.... And I disagree, Anne Hathaway as catwoman was the worst decision I've ever heard. She did OK of busting out of her Princessy image, but it was still there. And, well, I'm going to be honest about this, she was catwoman, she could have been way sexier.
I didn't like The Big Year either. I laughed pretty hard about the chicken burrito...

Unfortunately, the Redbox selection is usually pretty terrible. Rented Wanderlust a couple of weeks ago, it was meh. I fell asleep during 50/50 and Moneyball. Jeff Who Lives at Home was very meh for the guys in it, but had its moments. The Grey is...well, Liam Neeson. The Woman in Black was not what I was expecting Daniel Radcliffe's first movie after HP to be. Ghost Protocol was ok. I saw Safe House in theaters, and it was decent. Rum Diary was not very good - saw that in theaters. 30 Minutes or Less was decent - saw that in theaters. Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy was really good. Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close was also really good although the kid annoyed the crap out of me. I also liked The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Hugo, The Help, and The Ides of March. I haven't seen either, but I heard terrible things about Rampart and good things about War Horse. And The Artist is out on Redbox now. I haven't seen it but it did win best picture, so it can't be that bad, right? Wow, I watch a lot of Redbox movies.

I gave up on 50/50 after
his girlfriend left him
because I was bored the first time, then I finished it through and it was alright but I wouldn't recommend it.
American Psycho is probably my favorite movie from that list, though I also loved Requiem and Donnie Darko
The Woman in Black was not what I was expecting Daniel Radcliffe's first movie after HP
I saw the play a few years back in London, WAY, WAY better. The movie was weird and reminded me so much of The Ring at parts. I agree, not really expecting it. And it wasn't bad, but it was no where near great.
And The Artist is out on Redbox now. I'm disappointed that I haven't had the time to see it yet.
Passing on The Artist. Overhyped. Anyway, 50/50, Safe House and Contraband are excellent choices/movies. Ghost protocol was mediocre. Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy was underwhelming.

I love Rookie of the Year.
