Why am I so lost..I only went out for a few hours. Did RW family and friends take over the forums??? Where do we go from here?
I, for one, want to know if Katelynn gave Colie any pole instruction which we didn't see during the Brooklyn house reveal show. In LA, it seems to be a very popular celeb fitness thing. :new_shocked:

Are there any opposite transgenders? girls who become men and how would that work again sry this is all new to me
Are there any opposite transgenders? girls who become men and how would that work again sry this is all new to me
There are, you should google it, I am sure there are many sites out there with the info about how and what is done. :)
Are there any opposite transgenders? girls who become men and how would that work again sry this is all new to me
Perhaps we can send to you the experts for this and other answers. Here is the website of the American Psychological Association (APA) whose views and most everything are widely respected: Answers to Your Questions About Transgender Individuals and Gender Identity
Let me google that for you
B, I would have done that too, but the first response was Wikipedia, and I didn't want to get my butt kicked for insubordination... ;)
(as the entire board scrambles to read all of "saywhat's" posts at vevmo... )
LoL I knew!!! ;) An official welcome Katelynn :curtsey:
Colie said she just couldn't get the hang of it. Katelynn please tell me she wasn't just acting like she wasn't coordinated?
Oh no, she really is that uncoordinated in person. There's an episode (maybe 2 or 3) where all the girls in the house go out to a class but I'm the only one who sticks with it. It definitely isn't for everybody... but especially for Colie. Don't worry, she's safe from the pole.
Are there any opposite transgenders? girls who become men and how would that work again sry this is all new to me
It's fine. There are no "opposite transgenders", someone who is Transgender does not identify or feel associated with societal gender norms. There are people who are anatomically female who identify as male and there are people who are anatomically male who identify as female, and there are anatomically intersexed individuals who identify however they please. Sex and gender are not always so black and white, there are thousands of shades of gray. You also have to remember that gender identity has nothing to do with sexual orientation. What gender you identify as and what gender(s) you find sexually attractive are separate, unique issues amongst themselves. I'd be happy to answer any questions you have, just send me a PM =)
I'm so happy that Katelyn is in the real world for this season :) at first i thought she was just going to be the first transgender to be on the real world, but i've changed my mind. She really seems like a very educated girl and also like she said, "The girl next door." which sure seems like it, and hopefully she wont be remembered just for being the first transgender in the show.
Heyy Katelynn, believe it or not, I'm meeting a transgendered male tomorrow. He was a female who made the transfer to a male. If I may ask, what kind of questions should I ask him? I was thinking about asking about how his family and friends thought about it, but since you've been through it I figured you may have gotten some unique questions.

If you'd like I can send you a PM with more detailed info, but for the purpose of general education I think the best thing you can do for your friend is refer to them with the pronouns which they prefer (I'm presuming in this case it is He/Him). Family can be a touchy situation for a lot of trans people (it certainly was when I first started transition) so my best advice there would be to tread carefully and let them really steer the direction. If you're curious about any more intimate or personal details, just use the same sense you would with any other individual when broaching said topics. Hope that helps =)
Hahaha, this is so awesome. I'm gonna start referring a few people to "let me google that for you" too. Thanks lol. PD. Welcome Kate! :)
Let me google that for you
Hello kate! Thank you for sharing some insight with us after stalking for a little bit lol. I just have to say that you are a very strong woman to not only share your life on tv but live with seven other people who have different views on the world.
Yay Katelynn!!! So glad you're here. Hey, I have a question for you...not totally related to the real world. I noticed that you're from Missoula, MT. Another one of my favorite MTV shows is True life. Do you know Unique? She was from Missoula, MT as well. She had to support all of her brothers and sisters. I have no idea how big Missoula is, so I apologize if this is a stupid question. Edit: I just remembered that you moved there to be with your boyfriend, right? So you probably don't know her. Nevermind! :sadwalk:
LBGBwah???
LGBT=an acronym for Lesbian Gay Bi Transexual/Transgender :D
LGBT=an acronym for Lesbian Gay Bi Transexual/Transgender
I had literally typed that as I was watching and it was kind of like a split screen...laptop screen in my direct vision and Katelynn on the phone with her mom and the words appear on the TV. Remember I was jumping in with no knowledge of the cast or the show ... I was just thrown for a loop and my fingers blurted a bit. I've never heard the term before...and looking at Katelynn I had no idea. So yeah, I admit my statement was more in reference to my shock then asking what the acronym meant. But thanks for clarifying OPD :D
I really enjoyed the first episode of the Real World Bk. Its good to know that a season can be enjoyed without a barrage of hookups, fighting and drinking but truly getting to know the 8 strangers and their goals, dreams and backstory. Im kinda upset because I live in Manhattan and didn't get the opportunity to meet these bright, fun and fiesty individuals! I was especially inspired by the beautiful Katelynn and the amount of courage it took for her to share her story with millions of people. Can't Wait till Next Week Episode.

Welcome Katelynn!
I really didn't like it at all. Baya, Brianna and Scott seems decent, as well as Ryan, but I could care less about everyone else.
Hahahaha!! Oops.....
I don't know why but I automatically thought of Joey from RW Hollywood when you said that. "Ooops"
I was gonna say... For a minute I thought the person was talking about RW Hollywood lol.
There is no Brianna.

I really didn't like it at all. Baya, Brianna and Scott seems decent, as well as Ryan, but I could care less about everyone else.
I'm curious. Did you simply come to vevmo to be negative? Not a criticism, just curiosity.
welcome to the board Katelynn! someone said that there will be a villian this season? Wonder who that is?
Katelynn! Welcome to Vevmo! Glad to have you here =) Bacchus...you should give her the lil green check mark!
Bacchus...you should give her the lil green check mark!
That went out with the avatars, although I did giver her a custom user title so that people would know it is her (i.e. Real World Brooklyn.)
