Not at all IMO. But then again, it is hard to separate a person's appearance with such a vile personality present.
VILE!! Now there's a word that might be capable of describing Johnny.
Is anyone else amused by how he was one of the "Good Guys" while Evelyn was one of the "Bad *****" in the Inferno III?
I used to like Johnny...The question now is: What the **** happened to him???? At first I thought his association with Kenny make me dislike him (same thing with Johanna, this was certainly NOT her challenge)...But now I know his behavior has been really bad, bad...

There have been a few mess ups with the assigning people to the "Good" and "Bad" teams on Inferno 2 and 3. But at that point, Johnny was seen as a good guy, yeah.
johnny used to be a good guy on inferno 3 and i liked him. he was also cool on gauntlet 3. But i guess now he is just power hungry and he probably wanted to change his personality to make people think he's strong
You can be strong without being an ***. Derrick is a perfect example.
that's right. i guess johnny just want to be mean and maybe he thinks that being mean would make people afraid of him, but nobody's scared of him
The thing that kills me about this show is that the alliance seems to dominate not because they are great competitors but rather because they are great manipulators and know how to play on others psychology...
I agree that Ev was premature - as sweet as victory was against Johnny, the head puppet master, was...it was shortlived..She reignited his anger and didn't go for the kill at a time when she could actually sustain the kill. If she had played this more intelligently, she would have gone for another member of the alliance - someone who losing the key would cause conflict within the family and disarray but not the head guy. Maybe paula? dunbar? even kenny? Paula could in no way shape or form have won back a key from Evelyn, probably not even dunbar or kenny.
Additionally, I think there are many opportunities for MTV to make this shown interesting to watch and I just don't understand why they let the monotony ensue. Hopefully the rules will change soon and there will be a big suprise that puts a wrench in the alliance. For example, how fun would it have been if TJ came back this last round and was like okay now that johnny, derrick, and cohutta have been picked, here are the rules. You each have to pick another partner from the rest of the group for the challenge. If you lose, both are going home. And then not given them any time to deliberate in private. That would have been crazy to watch - get more people involved and totally throw their plans to pieces. They need to get more creative about this...

Good post. Definitely taken Paula's key would have been the perfect move. I guess easy to see in hindsight, but if she had taken Paula's key, then the face off would probably have been between Paula, Johanna, and Colie ...
One thing that bothered me about this episode was when Robin and Dan were fighting everyone was laughing. The should have least done something else.
LoL why? It was probably the best entertainment they'd seen in weeks! :D

I dunno. It's just like instead of encouraging the drunkards to drink and laugh at their expense why not stop them from drinking all together.

lol, that would constitute responsible adult behavior. I think you may be confused about what show you've been watching ;)

As long as the rules of the game are such that the alliance controls who goes in and who doesnt, this entire game is practically contrived.

It's quite simple, he is in an alliance, therefore he has to vote which ever way they vote. If you've seen previous challenges then this should be nothing new to you. I think it is smart strategy on his part...especially with him being one of the new guys. Like Johanna said (and I can't believe I'm agreeing with her....ugh) this is business.
Ummm yeah, I've seen all of the challenges actually. And you obviously missed my point. I was agreeing with goldenwarrior when he said Dunbar could have at least thrown Cohutta a bone. Derrick had already won the vote. Dunbar's vote wouldn't have mattered and I'm sure the rest of the "family" would have understood. Just like I'm sure they understood when Jenn and Colie voted for Tyrie to stay. They didn't care because they knew Tyrie was going home either way.

Given that production had made it clear to Evelyn that the game rules were dynamic, then she needed to make her move at the first opportunity, since there was not guarantee she would have the opportunity again. She clearly made the right choice and I'd tell you why but this is not a spoiler thread.

Really? I honestly thought she should have taken Paula's key... Because Paula didn't do s*** throughout, and that irritated the **** out of me. Or maybe Johanna's...One of those two... Force them to work for their spots. At least Johnny fought to get his even though he was being a donkey's rear end. :D

Actually, Johanna didn't even have a key to take. And Paula might have gotten flung around like a rag doll, but at least she tried. Johnny did not fight for his key until this past episode, so her taking his key was the best option.

I don't remember how he got it the first time, but didn't he have to do a "challenge'? to get it?

Nope. he went in but was totally dominated. He lost, and then was almost beat in a vote by somebody who wanted to leave. Johnny got a key by having 3 more votes.
