LOL I am reaching for a gnu right now! Personally this past week was a disappointment and I have low hopes for this week but we shall see if it all works out.
So here is my take on the show last night: Libra and Keesha are Psycho: Jessie seemed to accurately relay their convo to April and was being honest though admittedly sneaky. It's funny how Libra was talking about people lying so easily when she was lying the entire fight. I think by the end of the fight Keesha and Libra had actually convinced themselves that they did not say what the camera actually caught them saying. Jessie was actually being the grownup in the fight. Every time Libra gets in an argument she says she's not talking anymore, then when the person starts to walk away she chastises them for not wanting to discuss it, then when they come back she continues to say she's not discussing it anymore. ???? Also why is everything about her. I don't think anyone in the HOH even mentioned her name before she got offended. She seems like the type that is perpetually offended. She needs to be offended so she can always blame others for her personal defects and failures. What a crazy B*&^H. Having said that, I am really glad that Jessie has just caused people to probably evict him. What's even funnier is he thought he helped himself by instigating that fight. I'm enjoying watching the 2 sides of the once bandwagoning mob go after each other. I can't think of one player other than Dan that has any intelligence whatsoever. I miss Angie already. Also Dan was really smooth with the hug thing. I know the houseguests are suspicious of him as AP but they've had those suspicions since the beginning. I don't think anything he's done since becoming AP has fueled the suspicions anymore than they were before he was AP. GO DAN!!!!!!!
I think by the end of the fight Keesha and Libra had actually convinced themselves that they did not say what the camera actually caught them saying.
That was the best part of last night's episode. I was almost in tears from laughing so hard. The looks they gave when Jesse repeated almost verbatim what they actually said were priceless! I'd say that Oscars needed to be handed out, except like you said, they really believed they didn't say those things! Oh the sickness has invaded their short term memory and concept of self. Very sad.
Jessie was actually being the grownup in the fight.
He scored some points with me last night. I still can't stand him and he was an idiot even in being civil, but he was the best of the worst for a small portion of the episode.
GO DAN!!!!!!!
Dan might be a weasel, but he is all I have left. Go Dan!
HAHA Yeah that fight was utterly pointless but entertaining to watch I got to say. I mean they were caught in a lie but instead of owning up they tried to lie even more. Jessie actually was somewhat "mature" but I still can't stand him either. I have to say Dan is my favorite even though he is sneaky because he is definitely the lesser of any evil in that house.

Very sad.
It was hilarious. They totally built up to the fight and then when it started they had to get as many people in the house involved as they could. A total cluster. And Jessie did come out looking like a better person. But of course amongst all that craziness who wouldn't. And Dan in all his smoothness. Dan just makes me laugh, if he lays low he might just come out okay, especially if they all keep going like this, they will pick each other out, one by one. Dan might just make it out. There are very few in the house that aren't getting on my nerves right now. Especially the women, and Jerry. They've made the build up for a Michelle and Libra showdown.

She's just a psycho and that whole fight was the biggest shit-show I've seen in a long time!
I'm enjoying watching the 2 sides of the once bandwagoning mob go after each other. I can't think of one player other than Dan that has any intelligence whatsoever. I miss Angie already.
Yeah, Dan is by far my favorite now. He's just laying low and playing it smart. He is the only sane, smart one left... (I can't believe I'm saying that!)
Also Dan was really smooth with the hug thing. I know the houseguests are suspicious of him as AP but they've had those suspicions since the beginning. I thought there was no way that Jesse was going to stay hugging him for 10 seconds, let alone 17! Dan really cracks me up too...
GO DAN!!!!!!!
WOOOOOOOOOO!
I love how picking players for veto led to... April vs. Libra and Keesha Libra and Keesha vs. Jessie Renny vs. Jerry Memphis vs. Jerry Michelle vs. Everyone in the kitchen (Any fights I may have forgotten) ...and Dan having some Bible time. My favorite moment though was the awkward silence after "Happy Birthday" (Which, sidenote, I'm surprised they were allowed to sing 'Happy Birthday'... is the song in the public domain or did Viacom acquire the rights?) followed by Libra's "Who wants some cake?!" ...and then another shouting match. Edited to add: My 100th post! :)
Haha, I completely forgot about the awkward silence! That was amazing! p.s. Congrats!
Aww, thanks K_T! :) I'm sad I have to work during tomorrow night's live show - I'm anxious to see how this week ends up playing out!
Aww, thanks K_T! :) I'm sad I have to work during tomorrow night's live show - I'm anxious to see how this week ends up playing out!
I have to work too! I'm going to rely on Pheonix's recap to see what happens... or maybe I'll watch it online...
Haha, I completely forgot about the awkward silence! That was amazing! p.s. Congrats!
I felt the whole happy birthday singing was uncomfortable; they stopped fighting for just the time to sing the song and then continue on.
I have to work too! I'm going to rely on Pheonix's recap to see what happens... or maybe I'll watch it online...
I'l be in the air this evening and won't get home till midnight. You can bet I'll start up my DVR right after I walk through the door and stay up and watch BB without comercials - Sweet.
I have to work too! I'm going to rely on Pheonix's recap to see what happens... or maybe I'll watch it online...
No recap this week. Pheonix is away. :( I haven't read spoilers thus far, but have a solid feeling about Memphis leaving tonight. He is the biggest threat and the cast isn't as dumb as they would seem (well, most of them.) They have a chance to get rid of one of the best players in the game and will jump at it. Jesse is just annoying. Actually, I don't "hate" Memphis per say as much as I dislike Jesse, so I'll be hoping for a house flip. Of course, we will know 2 minutes into the episode tonight when they start showing how the entire house is turning on Jesse - that Memphis will be voted out 7-0.

I guess I'll have to watch it on the CBS site... And I agree, I actually kind of like Memphis. I hope he stays over Jesse.
Jessie leaving and now Libra up I am excited about the trend that is happening on Big Brother lately. Now Michelle still isn't my favorite, the way she went up to Dan and asking him "Why did you do it??" as if he killed Jessie or something, but she definitely gets points for the Libra nomination. Though April would have been a better nom than Keesha, that girl is two-faced to the core. I hate to say it but it is true. That fight was intense and it definitely spiced up the episode and then we saw the old houseguests...CHICKEN GEORGE!!! lol

Michelle was completely personal in her nominations. That is a classic mistake at this point in the game. She should have nominated April and Ollie because they are they are and will always be a voting pair. Every smart player should drool at the prospect of taking Libra to the final two. I don't think one person would vote for her in for the win unless she were up against April.

But honestly I don't want Michelle in the final two and I certainly don't want Libra in the F2. I guess I'm speaking from personal as she gets points with me but yeah no-one ever thinks about who they take to the F2 until it is too late. I'm shooting for Dan in the F2. :D
This was 100% personal and is just another example of Michelle's total lack of a clue. I am amazed that the house is so seemingly oblivious to the threat posed by the screwing pair bond that are at this point running the game. April is the reason Jesse went home. She put him up and she said she wouldn't! What part of that doesn't Michelle understand? Not to mention that if Memphis went home, wouldn't April have sent home a member of her alliance anyways? Now she is an ally? I am completely confused as to the supposed logic involved here. The good news (making lemonade) is that I hate Libra, and the sooner she is deposed, the happier I will be. I'd rather it be two people I like with a 50/50 shot at the money in the finale then one I like and one I hate (even if that was to guarantee victory for "good.") My reasoning? I don't want to have to put up with the most annoying of cast members for another month...
My advantage is that I'm "watching" the show via transcript and video clips. I remain Renny-free.
Haha lucky....she snapped a little last night on Michelle
Did you guys see April's face when Matt made that comment to Ollie on last night's show. That was awesome. I wonder if she realizes that she is being compared to Natalie in that regard. I think I can solidly say that I'm for Dan, Renny, Memphis for going all the way. Don't care who the fourth is. Dan is obviously one of the classiest contestants since Kayser. He's perfected floating strategically as opposed to just floating because he has no game. If he wins I think he will be the best player since Dr. Will. Renny really annoyed me in the beginning but I'm starting to warm up to her. Too bad she's stuck up Keesha's butt. Memphis really gained points for me when he took up for Dan last night. He was dead on when he was saying that people shouldn't attack someone's religion. By the way B. Cool spell check functionality you added. Maybe I don't have to screen my posts in Word anymore.

I don't think one person would vote for her in for the win unless she were up against April.
Michelle is under the delusion that Libra is some sort of puppet master, pulling strings to get everyone she wants evicted (Michelle, herself, being next on the block if Libra stays in the house). She put Keesha up against Libra because she thinks that this will ensure Libra's eviction (it probably will). She said something to the effect that if she were putting up noms based on personal feelings, she would have put Dan up, because she felt betrayed by and angry with him. April and Ollie should be first priority on everyone's radar, but I think Michelle is just too dumb to see that. So I do think her noms are based on strategy... just shoddy strategy. Actually, for her own game, it probably doesn't matter who she puts up because whoever stays is going to eventually evict her anyway. But for everyone else in the world, and A/O nom would be best.
Did you guys see April's face when Matt made that comment to Ollie on last night's show. That was awesome. I wonder if she realizes that she is being compared to Natalie in that regard.
haha! yes! and she also made a nasty little face when Ollie stood up and clapped at Janelle's introduction. Man, I wish these two would implode, but I don't think it's gonna happen.
I think I can solidly say that I'm for Dan, Renny, Memphis for going all the way. Dan is my favorite & though I think he may come off as a weak player at times, and is a bit obvious when he throws comps, etc, his strategy is working SO far & I hope that he can play it till the end. After having no real opinion of Memphis for the first several weeks, he has now grown on me & I like him better now than everyone but Dan. & After Renny got her meds in Week 2 and stopped flippping out, she has shown herself to be much cooler than the majority of the house. I dig her. Now that Jessie's out of the house, I think that Jerry has taken up the position of reigning D-bag.
Oh I had to rewind it when Ollie stood up. And Jerry...he cracks me up, I used to hate hearing him talk, but now.....wow!
Well, the good news is Libra will probably go home. The bad news is April can't go too. I realized something last night. Renny is the most sane woman still in the big brother house. That's really sad. It's really sad since all but 1 woman is still in the house. That means except for Angie, Renny is the most sane woman in the entire BB cast. I loved the edit April got last night. I'm sure it wasn't a hard thing for BB to give her the evil b*&%h cut. P.S. Did you guys see the glee on April's face when she was listening to Jerry and Michelle trash Dan. The woman takes true pleasure in seeing other people degraded.
Did you guys see the glee on April's face when she was listening to Jerry and Michelle trash Dan. The woman takes true pleasure in seeing other people degraded.
I did. She actually cracked that sadistic smile the other night as well for the same reason. It was not a "laugh" per say, but rather unadulterated evil viscerally streaming from her toothy gleen. She received the edit she deserved although sadly it seems like even though the audience gets it, the members of her alliance are oblivous. Michelle and Jerry either don't see the April threat or are putting aside their feelings to remain on trajectory for the prize. Ollie is getting action, so he could care less... On that note, lets not forget that April said she was using Ollie in the first week. Don't be fooled into thinking she actually likes him. I am looking forward to Libra's departure (especially after trying to throw my favorite airhead bimbo under the bus.) The scary part is the upcoming HOH competition. Keesha sucks at all tasks and Dan will probably throw it again. That means all of my hopes rest on Memphis and Renny (which really means only Memphis!) If Jerry, Ollie or April win (which the odds favor) this is going to be a long week with Keesha and Dan on the block and one of them going home.
I agree with what everyone is saying. LoL. The only thing good coming out of this week is Libra possibly leaving the house. She said she wasn't going to campaign against Keesha, but for some reason I think she will. It could be that fact that she threw her under the bus last night! If Keesha leaves I will be very upset. And then of course we have the HOH deal..... Dan, Keesha, Renny, or Memphis NEEDS to get this next HOH, that way they can take out the Nerd Herd! I am really hoping things go more my way tomorrow. :)
Libra leaving this week would brighten up this week and hopefully keep the good trend alive for another week, hopefully carrying into the next HOH where hopefully Memphis wins. As for April it is obvious to most anyone that she is a threat and you can't trust her but her alliance of the week seems to not see. I think though that they chose not to see it because they are looking toward the end which could be a huge mistake.
I don't think this group is really the brightest bunch,do i need to say, Jesse, anyway, they have all been switching sides, none of them can be trusted. But I'm so glad Libra is going home.
 Woooooo! Keesha is still in and Libra is OUT! Renny getting HOH means that everything worked out perfect! I loved it when April, Jerry and Ollie were the very first three to go.

And then April going first followed by her "alliance" was awesome! Now I am not a big fan of Renny but her getting HOH is perfect! She won't put Keesha up nor Memphis and I don't think Dan either. I love it! Did I mention that Libra IS...GOOONNNNEEE! haha Okay maybe I got too excited lol
