just finished watching the last house calls. Apparently Dan's school and the catholic church have been flooded with emails and calls to have him fired. His school went to bat for him and he will be able to keep his job. It really ****** me off that fans take this so personnally they are willing to get a guy fired because he played a text book game which included booting their favorite. These people are pathetic. I almost feel like creating a joker's account so I can go over there and scold those people as I'm sure a large number post over there.
Also Dan revealed that:
A: he was "playing the game" in casting and that he exagerated his political opinions to help get on the show.
B: CBS edited his casting video to look like he would leave the country if a woman became president when he was actually referring specifically to Hillary Clinton.

There are a great many Dan fans at jokers plus the usual collection of idiots. (I suppose it is also possible that some of Dan's fans also are idiots)
Yep, I've already seen some posts there that condemn the actions of the Dan - Haters and acknowledge that they most likely came from jokers users. One post mentioned that they saw people posting there threatening to do it but thought they were joking.
So I don't need to get an account there. My outrage has already been expressed.

What is it that he did that is so wrong? From what I saw of this season he has nothing to be embarrassed of! This is a game people! It is sad to see that some others cannot disconnect from what they see on "reality tv" to what is actually reality.

I know...
Ok so he deceived some people, but isn't that part of the game? And he put people on the spot with his roulette game. *** is so horrible about that?
man I'm really getting impatient for ***** interviews to come out on youtube. I've ran through everything else waiting for a stupid file to load to SAP tonight.

People in and outside the game take alot so personally. Yeah he lied but everyone did, it's the nature of the game and to get anywhere you have to bend the truth a little. Plus just because he was lying in the game doesn't mean he does it so much outside the house.
I saw the ED interview. I'm thinking he was buzzing pretty hard. I've read some other articles (James BB6) that said that alumnists were drinking in the green room for 2 hours after the show and before the current cast came in. I'm thinking he'd been down in the green room for a while before coming to the BY to interview Dan.
I'm wondering if the reason that he only has one interview out there is because he was drinking instead and didn't have time. Just speculation.
Not a bad interview. I have to say that it seemed the infamous ED was actually gushing over Dan. Or he was just drunk. Who knows.

That was a good interview. Fun, insightful on both sides of the mic. I actually wish it was a bit longer.
I am really sad about not seeing a drunk ED vs April. That would have been classic.
I just read that CBS doesn't own the camaro that Memphis "won" in the first competition.
They don't have a car to give him...
Steve and Brian said it was a POS anyway - that the interior had not been redone and was a mess.
April -- an automotive financial expert, valued the car differently throughout the show, but $70K sticks in my mind as one amount...
Memphis, some advice -- Take the cash instead.
Guys trashing april's looks pretty good

That's just crazy! How can they give away something they don't own?
That's just crazy! How can they give away something they don't own?
Why? Because they live in TV land where the facts are whatever **** you can get the very gullible American viewers to believe. Years from now, the normal BB viewer will think Memphis got 50K and the car.
The update is that Memphis, being no dummy, took an undisclosed amount of cash instead. One might expect that Allison Grodner would be embarrassed. Don't count on it...

You know that is just so wrong. I know it is how it is, but its still wrong. I'm glad that Memphis was smart enough to make sure he got himself taken care of.

They wouldve had to give him something...otherwise couldn't he have sued?

Yes, but it would never have come to that. For once BB actually was caught in the trap of The Game Show Act. The FCC would have ordered BB /CBS to substitute the cash value of the prize (which they were actually required to record when the prize was first offered).

Sweet. Dude should at least get what's rightfully his!
I read about this somewhere but yeah Memphis was smart to take the cash and like some said the car wasn't that great even though April thought it was worth more than the grand prize.

Reality Show Rule #1: You always take the cash.

So true cause the cars seemed like something to spice things up but never actually expected him to want it lol Seriously though this season turned out great and I am looking forward to next year.
