Real World Brooklyn Housing

In their defense, Philadelphia doesn't exactly lend itself to a lot of excitement. I think the location is just as much a character as the cast members. But being from Phila, it was nice to see them visit my old haunts. Especially that one girl who always went off to the irish bar by herself. but where's the story there?

Chicago got sort of interesting because it filmed during 9/11. It was the first time they had a TV in the house. It was Tonya's season so there was plenty of issues. It wasn't too much of a party crowd (there was a recovering alcoholic/newly gay, uptight man who acted like he was forced to be there.) Wasn't all too exciting overall.

Shit it's still in the city but they coulda found something closer to downtown. yo bacchus, you know everything, go get me joey's address so i can set him up the bomb :D

This could be great follow up to Hollywood if they play their cards right and it appears they are on the right track. I guess Phily is the season I remember the least out of these past seasons but I didn't hate it or anything. But then again I'm easy to please :P

They probably chose this location b/c the belltell lofts is a new housing building and they could get the space they wanted. It's not in the suburbs. It's an avenue away from brooklyn heights. they a 2-minute walk to dumbo. they'll have fort greene on one side and boerum/cobble hill on the other. and this location does not have a lot traffic on the weekends. the traffic comes from all of the court buildings--which are only open until 5pm weekdays.

Also check out The Brooklyn Eagle. They're on top of a lot of news that happens in this part of the borough. If they are already in the house and hanging out, they're not doing it in the neighborhood because I think I would have seen something...a camera, a sign, something. My guess is that they're going to clubs in the city (aka Manhattan) because there are no clubs around here, just cool, mellow bars. Brownstoner and Gowanus Lounge blogs would also report on the RW cast if they were hanging out here. My bad, it's the Brooklyn Paper (brooklynpaper.com). sowwy.

[/quote] First time they had a TV in the house since LA (I think). I heard they got rid of it because all Jon did was sit around watching TV and drinking Kool-Aid. so redhook it is? we've seen cast members get attacked by barstools (landon, philly), we've seen a cast member 'jump over' his attacker (dave, LA), now we may actually see a mugging if some drunk 19 year old wanders in the wrong direction. this will be fun.

The further delay may mean some layoffs at BMP. They can't keep that army of support people sitting around doing nothing in Van Nuys.
