OK,
I know we had some people saying they were finalists. Now we need to start digging to see who made the cast and if any of them are on Vevmo. Come on people, give yourself up.
Does anyone know of any one that made the cast?

Being they are yet to start filming, it is hard to get information about who is on the cast.
In a few weeks, when they are kicking it in Brooklyn, I am sure the information will pour in. ;)
It pretty much always does leak out sooner or later but I doubt anyone would give themselves out openly anyway. It should be a good season though I'm looking forward to it.

It is not going to be hard to spot a camera crew moving in and out of Beltel lofts following people, so I suspect that we will have cast photos almost as soon as they move in. A bunch of people have messaged me saying they would check out the area and bring their cameras. We also have a few regulars around here that live in Brooklyn. It is only a matter of time. Once we get pictures and put them on blast here, we will get their names and all that other good stuff. :D
This is a crazy and random side thought, but has anyone seen Bowfinger?
That is totally what we should do with the cast! I need to see if I can find some bored film students in New York!
We know where the cast is going to be so it would not be that hard to run into them and interact while we create our own "reality show" using hidden cameras. The cast would be unwitting stars of a mockumentary tentatively titled, "The Realer World."
We could stage gags and get reaction shots!
Like...add a new "chalk outline" to the sidewalk by their entrance every day for a week and see if they notice....and you know we would have to get one of those crazy improv art comedy troupes that does everything backwards or pretends time is going at only 1/10 the speed....(fun stuff like that, lol.)
While MTV is busy editing in the fall we could release a fun mini internet only series with their cast, heh. :D

LOL..great idea but you cant get near the house , security. It has been tried. The Denver Post had a real time live cam set up outside the Denver house. When the cast moved a truck came to block the shot.

That was Denver. It was a warehouse.
This is in the city. A totally different situation. BMP does not own the sidewalks. Nor can they stop all the other residents of BelTel from bringing "guests" over. BMP does not own BelTel. They are not renting out the entire complex. They are renting one loft...
BTW: I think on this Real World season the cast will leave the loft/house. Wait, that happens on all seasons - doesn't it? Right! Thank God "security" owns the streets of Brooklyn.....hate for them to run into real people out there!
No, BMP doesn't own the sidewalks and can't prevent people from going in....but I'm sure theres security of some sort. Maybe BMP hired extra security guards (non-police...) just to be around the building 24/7 in case people try to go inside when they shouldn't. Yanno....rent-a-cops.

...but this is not a house, it is a massive complex in downtown Brooklyn and I am sure if we wanted to we could get someone to invite us in to the building. When I said I needed to find bored film students, I meant bored hot film students if you follow me, lol.
As far as security....who cares. This is Bowfinger, not a massive Hollywood production. We aren't going to be showing our cards (or more importantly cameras.) It has to be all about stealth and acting like normal people on the street that do crazy things all of a sudden out of the blue. That is the beauty of it.
Perhaps the most artful way of dealing with production/security is to obtain a NYC film permit. It is easy to do. http://www.nyc.gov/html/film/pdf/topsheet.pdf "Student" projects have the same licensing requirement; and, if I recall correctly, an authorization by a school, in writing, solves the insurance problem.
Once you have a film permit, the NYC police will protect you from BMP's security people because we would have equal right to the streets of Brooklyn.
