Big Brother 9 Discussion - Day 39
Day 39 – Power of Veto Meeting BB wakes them up at 9:30am. In the bathroom, Josh tells Ryan that if James leaves the nominations the same that Ryan is safe. Josh says he can’t think of a scenario where Ryan would not be safe. Josh in the back yard. “Hellooo world! Hello, hello…hello. It is a little windy out there Joshuah, but I think we can pull it off. Today I will be the victor and not the victim. I will be victorious” Josh says that he needs a name for himself. He says he is the gay EvelDick. Sheila says that she has a gut feeling about something. Ryan asks if they have been out in the sun. Josh says that it’s a little could and that he might need a little shawl or something and says that Sharon might have one he can borrow. (*snerk* Josh really hates her blue little blankie and is always ripping on her about it) Josh and Sheila in the storage room. They are talking about Sheila over hearing Natalie saying that “it’s time for her to go.” Sheila thinks Natalie was talking about her. Josh says he is glad that she heard that. Sheila says that she may go around crying a lot but she is a strong person. She says that Natalie is a selfish person and she knows that she came from poverty too but she should make her more giving not so selfish. Sheila complains that Natalie won’t share her make-up with her. Sheila tells Josh that she has a plan in her head as to what she is going to do. Josh tells her that if she stays on the block she has his vote no matter what. Josh says that his plan last week was to unify the house but Ryan decided instead to divide the house. They assure each other that they are not after the other. Sheila says the only time the other side has anything to do with her is when they need her vote. James comes in. Josh tells him what Sheila overheard and tells him how good he just set up Natalie’s nomination next week. He says that Sheila will do whatever they all want and that she just needs to feel included. Josh says he will make sure to talk to her and ask her stupid questions. Josh and Natalie in the bathroom. He tells her that Sheila is not happy because she thinks that Natalie is voting her out. Natalie says that she told Sheila she was 50/50. Josh suggests that Natalie tell her again. Natalie says it is funny how some people act when they are on the block and that’s why Sheila needs to go this week but if she does stay they should put her on the block every week until she goes home. Ryan and Josh. Josh says that he thinks that Sheila will go off on Natalie but asked her to wait until after the PoV meeting. Ryan asks if James is going to pull him off. Josh says that James told him (Ryan) that he was and he’s all about his word. Josh says that James says either way, Ryan will be staying. We lose the feeds. It’s time. Power of Veto Ceremony – James took Sheila off the block and put Matt up in her place. Natalie and Josh in the bedroom. Natalie is crying and saying that she is not giving up but she will fight for him. She tries to figure out the votes. She says that she is upset at herself because she should have held on a little longer. She says that James had a deal with Matt if he won the PoV he was supposed to leave it the same and James lied. She says he’s screwed for next week if she wins HoH. Matt and James outside. Matt says, “Wow you want to get rid of your arch nemesis halfway through the show, that doesn't make good television.” James says that he doesn’t feel that Matt is his arch nemesis. Matt says that America will. James tells him that he did the same thing to him by saying that he would vote for him to stay. Matt says there is nothing he can say. James tells him that the game changes every day. He tells Matt that just like when he put him and Natalie up against A/A, it just another ballsy move. Matt complains that this is his third time on the block and asks James if he felt like crying when he went up. James says yeah. Matt says that he has to get 5 votes and that won’t be easy. Matt cries and complains. He says that he feels like he is letting everyone at home down because he is coming home with nothing. Matt is literally crying. James tells him that he thinks Matt is a stand up guy. Matt says he’s sorry for crying. Matt wants to know why Sheila gets a second chance and not him and says she’s done nothing in this game. Matt wants to know how he’s supposed to go against Ryan, “Mr. Nice Guy”. (Matt is begging and really upset) James says that he felt the same going against Sharon, she plays with Guinea Pigs and reads her bible. Matt goes into the pink bedroom, and is sobbing on the way. Natalie and Josh are in there. Josh leaves. Natalie tries to hug Matt and says that she is sorry. Matt tells her it’s not her fault. He asks her to leave him alone. He just wants to be alone. She won’t go. He starts to pack and she tells him not to. He tells her it doesn’t look good. He leaves the room. He is telling himself to stop crying. “Stop crying. You’re a tough guy.” Matt goes back outside with James and Adam. He asks Adam what he has to do for his vote. Adam says that he can’t commit and that it’s hard being in the middle. To be continued.
Kath - What is the Vegas line on who is going home tomorrow? ;)
Do you really want to know? I think your boy Ryan is safe. I'm going to be covering this later. But James and his crew has cooked up another plan to mess with Matt and Ryan. They've cut Chelsia loose to play double agent, saying she's hurt by James and that he is only playing for himself...he told Ryan to put me up...blah blah blah. She is to let Matt think he can sway her to vote to keep him. With her vote he can convince Sheila and Adam to vote for him to make it 4-2. Of course Chelsia will vote out Matt (I had typed Ryan...this plan is confusing sometimes. LOL). So the vote will be 3-3 and James will break the tie and send Matt home. The plan is to mess with Matt so James can personally send him home. And also the plan is to make Ryan think that Adam and Sheila have betrayed him and next week Ryan will be prime for deal making so James will have the numbers. If he can get Ryan ...Adam will follow and that would leave Sheila and Natalie all alone. So far Matt, Natalie and Sheila are buying Chelsia and James' parting. The fools. James is get a bit full of himself. I don't see anything but Matt being the first in sequester. But things have flopped plenty this week. So anything could still happen.
Kathleen what is going on with the pyscho Josh? I see he is preparing to freak out on Sheila and Natalie tonight right before HOH. I honestly cannot take anymore of this man attacking the women why the other men stand by and let him. I am curious as to what he could say now that his disgusting choice of vocabulary has been taken away from him. The first time he called me the "C" word I would have been kicked out of the house for clawing his eyeballs out. Josh's comment on the beaver state smelling like nasty salmon (Nat) will get him strangled. I know Nat is not the best role model, but at least she not the worst, she could be Josh!!!! Imagine how Texas feels!!!
Josh seems to get a bit antsy if he doesn't have a freak out at least once a week. I have no idea what he is planning to do for tonight's show. (I'm not sure if it's going to be live in real time at 9pm eastern or if they will tape live at 5pm pacific as usual) Anyway, I heard him and Sharon talking last night and she wants him to wait until the vote is over. He wants to mess with them so they can't win HoH. He's my favorite player but I'm not going to excuse his behavior. He goes after the women because they aren't going to physically attack him. the men in that house are anything but. They sit back and let him do it.
This is really the first season of BB I have tuned into and watched religously(sp) So when it comes to game play I have no idea what is suitable and what is not. The way that Josh behaves himself gameplay or not is unnacepptable. I often wonder how people like can lay their head down at night and go to sleep. Chelsia, james, sharon and Adam are no better egging him on the way they do. It must be nice to have no conscience at all!!!!!!
Josh is really no worse the **** last year. The only difference is the trashiest attacks in Josh's repertoire are usually behind the targets back (where as **** was more of an in your face *******.)
I would say that Josh is a cross between Dustin and ****. He does a lot of trash talking (as does every single person in that house) behind people's backs but he does confront, or attack if you will, them to their face. He will say everything to their face, unlike Dustin. ****, even though last year I was hard pressed to admit this, was not as nasty as Josh is. Josh gets down and dirty, hits well below the belt. **** never did that. Sure he went off on Amber and got a bit personal with her but he never really got as personal as Josh does or with such hatred. Josh makes it personal, **** made it game. I'm not saying that Josh is somehow better at the calling people out as ****. I'm saying that **** didn't cross as many lines as Josh has. ****'s purpose was to call people out. Josh is just attacking them to bring them down. Josh thinks he is the 'gay Evel****' but he's not. And I'm sure **** will have some words to say to him when they all meet. I am not a Evel**** fan, so Bacchus don't even think that I've switched sides. ;)
So I tried to watch the show last night for the first time since week 2. I couldn't do it. I don't think I lasted even a minute. I just dislike everyone so much that it is hard to watch them in edited form with all their ********** edited out. I'm gonna try to watch again tonight to see if they show any of what Josh is saying he will do. I'm guessing they delayed the show an hour so they can film it at 5PM PST then be able to do damage control with editing before broadcasting at 6PM PST. I wonder if they'll tell the cast that they are not live tonight. Wonder if they will pretend like they're having comercial breaks and everything.
After last weeks live episode where the houseguests were totally out of hand, I wonder if they will ever do one again? I bet when the feeds went dead during the endurance comp they got a talking to from the producers. If Julie gets angry, the gerbils pay!
After last weeks live episode where the houseguests were totally out of hand
Out of hand in what way? Bad language or what?
Out of hand in what way? Bad language or what?
She was trying to talk and they wouldn't settle down....then when the twist was announced they started talking and wouldn't stop and she had to repeatedly tell them to zip it (and they kept talking over her.) Finally when James came out to talk to her after being evicted, he said...*Wait for it* *Wait for it* ..."****" - and she immediately told him to "keep it clean" from here on out.
Well some colleagues just talked me into going out to a Brazilian grill tonight so no big brother for me. Traveling on an expense account rocks!!

Well it seems Josh couldn't wait for his freak out and gave Sheila a little preview a bit ago. She went into the DR and when she came out they called Josh in. She told Matt and Ryan that they were going to have a talking with him because he has crossed the legal line three times in this house. He is threatening Sheila...throw the HoH or I will go off on your son and his disability on national TV (or the feeds). Personally, I am don't condone what he is doing and how he is going about it. Fine mess with her head freak out on her, but attack her...not her 16 year old disabled kid. That is beyond low. Thus far I'm not sure how he has crossed any legal lines, I'm thinking that's Sheila's wishful thinking. But he's definitely crossed some moral lines and lost a few brownie points with me. Feeds have been off since Josh got called in the diary room. Hopefully they can get him to calm down. I don't like this mean freaky Joshy so much.
What dissability is it that Sheila's son has? I was reading some of the stuff Josh was saying to Shelia and I thought they told him not to use the C word anymore. I caught up on evildick through youtube, and to me he is not near as scary as Josh is. Josh gets so out of control he has no idea what he is doing, that is scary.
All I can say about tonight is thank God Chelsia didn't win.
Yay, but what the heck is Adam going to do? He is a floater and has deals with everyone? I don't see him going out on a limb and making a stand. I predict he'll play it safe and nominate Sharon and Josh. Or go with what the majority wants and play for 'the good of the house' card.
