Day 39 – Power of Veto Meeting
BB wakes them up at 9:30am.
In the bathroom, Josh tells Ryan that if James leaves the nominations the same that Ryan is safe. Josh says he can’t think of a scenario where Ryan would not be safe.
Josh in the back yard. “Hellooo world! Hello, hello…hello. It is a little windy out there Joshuah, but I think we can pull it off. Today I will be the victor and not the victim. I will be victorious”
Josh says that he needs a name for himself. He says he is the gay EvelDick. Sheila says that she has a gut feeling about something.
Ryan asks if they have been out in the sun. Josh says that it’s a little could and that he might need a little shawl or something and says that Sharon might have one he can borrow. (*snerk* Josh really hates her blue little blankie and is always ripping on her about it)
Josh and Sheila in the storage room. They are talking about Sheila over hearing Natalie saying that “it’s time for her to go.” Sheila thinks Natalie was talking about her. Josh says he is glad that she heard that. Sheila says that she may go around crying a lot but she is a strong person. She says that Natalie is a selfish person and she knows that she came from poverty too but she should make her more giving not so selfish. Sheila complains that Natalie won’t share her make-up with her.
Sheila tells Josh that she has a plan in her head as to what she is going to do. Josh tells her that if she stays on the block she has his vote no matter what. Josh says that his plan last week was to unify the house but Ryan decided instead to divide the house. They assure each other that they are not after the other. Sheila says the only time the other side has anything to do with her is when they need her vote.
James comes in. Josh tells him what Sheila overheard and tells him how good he just set up Natalie’s nomination next week. He says that Sheila will do whatever they all want and that she just needs to feel included. Josh says he will make sure to talk to her and ask her stupid questions.
Josh and Natalie in the bathroom. He tells her that Sheila is not happy because she thinks that Natalie is voting her out. Natalie says that she told Sheila she was 50/50. Josh suggests that Natalie tell her again. Natalie says it is funny how some people act when they are on the block and that’s why Sheila needs to go this week but if she does stay they should put her on the block every week until she goes home.
Ryan and Josh. Josh says that he thinks that Sheila will go off on Natalie but asked her to wait until after the PoV meeting. Ryan asks if James is going to pull him off. Josh says that James told him (Ryan) that he was and he’s all about his word. Josh says that James says either way, Ryan will be staying.
We lose the feeds. It’s time.
Power of Veto Ceremony – James took Sheila off the block and put Matt up in her place.
Natalie and Josh in the bedroom. Natalie is crying and saying that she is not giving up but she will fight for him. She tries to figure out the votes. She says that she is upset at herself because she should have held on a little longer. She says that James had a deal with Matt if he won the PoV he was supposed to leave it the same and James lied. She says he’s screwed for next week if she wins HoH.
Matt and James outside. Matt says, “Wow you want to get rid of your arch nemesis halfway through the show, that doesn't make good television.” James says that he doesn’t feel that Matt is his arch nemesis. Matt says that America will. James tells him that he did the same thing to him by saying that he would vote for him to stay. Matt says there is nothing he can say. James tells him that the game changes every day. He tells Matt that just like when he put him and Natalie up against A/A, it just another ballsy move. Matt complains that this is his third time on the block and asks James if he felt like crying when he went up. James says yeah. Matt says that he has to get 5 votes and that won’t be easy.
Matt cries and complains. He says that he feels like he is letting everyone at home down because he is coming home with nothing. Matt is literally crying. James tells him that he thinks Matt is a stand up guy. Matt says he’s sorry for crying. Matt wants to know why Sheila gets a second chance and not him and says she’s done nothing in this game. Matt wants to know how he’s supposed to go against Ryan, “Mr. Nice Guy”. (Matt is begging and really upset) James says that he felt the same going against Sharon, she plays with Guinea Pigs and reads her bible.
Matt goes into the pink bedroom, and is sobbing on the way. Natalie and Josh are in there. Josh leaves. Natalie tries to hug Matt and says that she is sorry. Matt tells her it’s not her fault. He asks her to leave him alone. He just wants to be alone. She won’t go. He starts to pack and she tells him not to. He tells her it doesn’t look good. He leaves the room.
He is telling himself to stop crying. “Stop crying. You’re a tough guy.”
Matt goes back outside with James and Adam. He asks Adam what he has to do for his vote. Adam says that he can’t commit and that it’s hard being in the middle.
To be continued.
