I had a quick conversation with Isaac earlier today and he wanted to ask for everyone's help in getting him voted "hottest male" on the MTV Awards. I have voted as many times as I can (and my fingers are sore) so if y'all could swing by and give him a few votes I am sure he would appreciate it.

But I had no idea I was NOMINATED. That changes everything. Who wouldn't jump at the chance to fly across the country to receive an award for doing absolutely nothing significant? I'll take the next flight out please. I can write my acceptance speech on the plane.
What would one say when receiving this award? "I'd like to thank myself, as if it weren't for my own propensity for self-absorbed melodrama, I wouldn't have stood in front of a TV camera and screamed at someone in the hopes of making the final edit of an episode. Scratch Dan from any future challenge. These things operate on a profit margin of less than 5 percent. Plane ticket, hotel and per diem is not a bad deal just to go to a party. The awards stuff will mostly be a post-production edit, given the event layout.

He has a point in that [I]they are the party[/I], so there should be some sort of revenue sharing being it is a "for profit" endeavor (and not just for giggles or any real posterity.) In reality it is a giant commercial for [B]The Real World Hollywood[/B] that will probably run 20 times in the next 3 weeks. Don't actors get some sort of royalty payments based on the amount of times a commercial runs?
At the same time many cast members idea of what MTV makes on these type of things is laughable. American Idol, Real World is not!

Yeah, Matt has really put a few on. It's a shame; he was a decent-looking guy just a few years ago when he did the Gauntlet. Trishelle is looking a little worse-for-the-wear in those pictures, but maybe it's just the angles. And that jacket is not particularly flattering. I'm a bit shocked that Mallory showed up--I thought she was as done as anyone can be with these things. I like Ace and Jillian's hairstyles. I do not like Eric Neis' hairstyle. And Tonya, white pants in March? Shame on you.
I wonder if people who didn't show up would have if they had realized how many people actually [I]would[/I] show up. I imagine they don't get many opportunities to be in a big group like that and talk to people they've been out-of-touch with for awhile. Happy to see Lori out and about. And Jacquese! Who knew?!
I know V1man mentioned that Brad had another obligation, but since they're doing a Frankie tribute and she passed so recently, I'm a little surprised that the MIA SD cast members didn't make more of an effort to attend. Even if you think it's a "for-profit" event, I'm sure BMP and MTV were genuinely saddened by Frankie's death and will do a nice tribute. Or at least, I hope they will. I'm actually surprised that MTV didn't twist Brad's arm a little harder, since he's nominated for three or so awards. Though it looks from Tori's myspace like she's not feeling well, so maybe that also contributed.
Overall, this might actually be a cool show to watch! Definitely a bigger turn-out than I expected.

Beth is not married. Why would you even post that Beth may have given a fake name to a red carpet photographer? On Beth's behalf, I find that a little insulting.
The way these things work is that MTV is responsible for the Red Carpet and has a PA announcing the names of people before they walk the carpet and another PA standing with the photographers answering questions like "who is this?" and "What show?" Except for idiot events, people walking on the red carpet don't give their names. They are there to be photogenic and it is the photogs job to know whom they are shooting. I have a few of decades under my belt in working red carpets and names get screwed up all the time. Email already sent to Getty to point out their error.

Brad had already committed to a previous engagement in Florida, and had signed a contract. He definitely wanted to be there, but he also had to live up to his contract obligations. Tori would have come with him if he had been free to attend.
As for Tonya's "white." 1) it's LA, 2) talk to her stylist.

That's a shame. It would have been nice to see Brad and Big Ran together again, and I imagine neither of them will be doing another MTV event any time in the near future...or at all, for that matter. Glad to hear Tori isn't deathly ill, though, since Miss USA is coming up. It's funny that Brad and Randy were close friends on their season and Kina and Tori were close friends on VR and Brad and Tori ended up getting together completely independently.

I see Kina still loves electric blue. Good for her. She can pull it off like few others. That relationship has lasted a lot longer than I'm sure most people would have predicted. I'm happy for them.
