Well the cast might get more into it. Diem posted a video blog of when she followed Johanna to a Maxim shoot. Apparantly Johanna is trying for Miss USA Peru or something, and L4TC is her platform. So I think at least some of them might get more into it and try to interact with more fans. Coral said she is going to try to post a video blog tomorrow.
The major point is....unless there is revenue sharing, why should the cast care? If they have a set amount of times they need to post they will get through it like homework and it will feel like homework. Forced and shunted. That is why sites like this one do so well. People do not want to hear the party line, canned bullshit. I do not expect much from this MTV contrivance. Sure they will "blog" but to what end? Viacom is not in the business of paying reality personalities "real money" and I do not think we will see that paradigm shift anytime soon. Now...you offer some sort of intellectual property sharing........WOW!......IamonMTV.com would take off like madcaps on a blistering Sunday in the savannah of someone gives a shit. The blogs would be heartfelt. The reality would be broadcast in blood, sweat and tears. The participants would embrace it and you would see interaction on a level unseen. Historic levels. Insanity would ensue! ***king mad dash for cash insanity! Bloody fingers and reality gold. Of course, that will never happen.

Geez, B, you say it like its a good thing.
Replies to the above: There is no revenue sharing. People are there on thier own. Coral was online for about 10 hours yesterday and ended the day with more "fans" than anyone. She says being there is addictive. Maybe the cast will need rehab? Johanna is in the Miss Peru contest in Peru. She came to LA last weekend just for the Maxim shoot -- then back home to Peru. The contest is actually in March. Bottom line, she won't be online at iamonmtv very often. Not to worry, MTV will have some PA stand it for her at some point. Recent question to Beth at her myspace blog page "Is Kenny gay?" I'm sure Beth is going to have fan answering that one... I love the insights of people out in the great unwashed of America. .. :eek_yello:

Obviously that is the road less traveled and I should probably try a real "Stars" page before I pass judgment. I'll give Coral a read.
Hee hee. On Tori's page, she wrote that after Viewers Revenge she had sworn to herself she would never be blogging again. Wonder why, Bacchus??
Hee hee. On Tori's page, she wrote that after Viewers Revenge she had sworn to herself she would never be blogging again. Wonder why, Bacchus??
Yes...I was evil....very evil...to "poor" Tori. ;)
Yes...I was evil....very evil...to "poor" Tori. ;)
okay, you must tell me, what did you do?
okay, you must tell me, what did you do?
I just lambasted her for "collaborating" with the veterans and ruining the show. She was a reality virgin at the time and took some of the things that I said quite personally. Actually the entire cast would hover in the RV with their laptop and read the "constructive criticism" I was spewing. They would then try and post anonymous comments (which I would always call them on) to make themselves look better then I was portraying (I would get an email from one of them with IP and then when a post showed up with that same IP it was very straight forward that the comment came from a cast member!) Adam was the only one that posted as himself, and I respect him for taking the blog with a grain of salt and having fun.

It was bound to happen eventually. I like Tori both personally and in her TV character role. There was a guiding hand from outside RR: VR for Adam, Kina, Susie and Tori -- a very crafty veteran whose friendship for Kina and Susie has always been under the radar. I'm happy to have often been its facilitator. I think Tori will surprise you this season, and she gets sage advice and help during the season from more vets than just Brad.
I think Tori will surprise you this season, and she gets sage advice and help during the season from more vets than just Brad.
My opinion of Tori has changed quite a bit since RRVR. She has grown on me as the memories of that train wreck Road Rules revival dissipate. She is getting a clean slate in bacchusland this season! Crafty Veteran, eh?
So is that 1.383 Million viewers? Were you the one that was saying it would have to do closer to 2 million to be considered a success? Obviously it is in 5th on that list which would seem to be a good thing.
I always liked Tori. Bacchus can attest that I always defended her and the Vets at his old site, even though it brought a lot of razzing from the other members upon myself. They played a smart game. It's funny, on Big Brother if someone plays a smart game and makes a cutthroat move, they are rock stars. On Mtv they are hated and ridiculed. I think some people realize that false loyalty to people you've known for a very short time versus doing what's best in the game for yourself is silly.
BTW: I know budget cuts are a ******, but I really miss Blair and the aftershow! Sometimes I enjoyed those more than the show itself!! Also, I am going to miss G3 tonight as I have to work. I REALLY need a danged TIVO!!! ;)
Ok....I see that those are the numbers for just that demo. I wonder how many viewers it pulled in overall?
9 WWE Entertainment USA 1284
Are you serious...people still watch that **** soap opera?? I am considering becoming one of thier groupies...those guys are hilarious. And they love animals as much as I do, LOL

Although, I've often wondered how much heat he took for some of the things he said, or got others to say, about his "friends" while doing that show. I seem to recall a lot of online drama resulting from some of the remarks made on the Aftershow. Still, it was fun to get the behind the scenes dirt. :) I skipped that whole RRVR debacle. It's really too bad TPTB couldn't have brought the show back with just a few minor changes to the old formula instead of making it almost unrecognizable from the original format. So I don't know enough about these Rookies to have formed an opinion about them. Yet. I think the real question to Beth should have been: Is CT gay? Maybe he'd be a much happier person if he just embraced the rainbow? ;) (Does talking about this, albeit in jest, make me one of the unwashed masses?)

No not really. And Maybe CT is gay, who knows.
He does seem like he could be a closet gay...a little bit I guess. On that note, Is Kenny gay?? I always just assumed he was, but other posters comments had me second guessing my assumption.
If someone would also write that Evan is gay then we would have a trifecta! Personally, while I know he is mightilty in love with himself, I don't think he's gay.

They both seem very environmentally conscious. ;)

My favorite. :D Seriously, though... is Kenny really that in love with himself, away from the cameras? How can someone be that self-absorbed and still function in the real world? Wait, what am I saying? They continually find ways to show up on MTV. That's how. (The Eye "Challenge," anyone?) I bet he has a hard time finding girls who live up to his "standards." At least for more than the 2 minutes he needs to finish. ;) I bet he's an expert in the art of self-love. If ya know what I mean. :D If he'd just sit there silently and look pretty I'd like him so much more. :)
This is how rumors start... now where is that link for FORT???

I love Rob and Big, to me that is the most entertaining show! Big is from Wiggins, MS about 30 min from where I live, and I loved the episodes with Uncle Jerry from Wiggins, pure hilarity! Love all the animals too.
