Trisha's entire "apology" was the most insincere, self-serving, pathetic thing I have heard in a very long time. I am not a Christian, but the little I do know about their beliefs was never once displayed by Trisha (I love "Trasha") during her time in Sydney. If that was her apologizing and reaching out....wow!
There is a quote in the bible(I wish I could remember) that someone cries out to Jesus and said "Lord,Lord, why do you turn your back on me, I am a christian. Jesus replies, You may say you knew me but I never knew YOU. " That is definitely paraphrased, but Trisha is a HYPOCRITE. She does not know Jesus, if she did she would not acted that way to Parisa. Where is the compassion for your fellow human? Parisa should have said, I will pray for you Trisha. That would have gotten Trisha. I hate when people claim that they are something , instead of showing people who they are.
Parisa should have said, I will pray for you Trisha. That would have gotten Trisha.
I would have liked to have seen Trishas reply to that!
Parisa is one classy lady, I have to say. "Enjoy your flight. Take care." I couldn't be more impressed. And she was dignified all through the house meeting and didn't even ract to Kelly Anne's INSANELY CHILDISH threat, "We're all still here for 2 and a half months, and you're not gonna have a good time with all of us hating you." [<---this was perhaps the lowest part of the show for me] I mean, please, MTV, you went from a reality tv show that cast journalists, dancers, musicians, medical students, artists, spokespeople for AIDS awareness--genuinely interesting, complicated, talented individuals--to a reality show which closely resembles a racist, chauvanistic, violent middle school with children who happen to be of age to drink alcohol, which unfortuantely just amplifies the middle school aspects. (Actually, I take that back...they're slightly less abusive when they're drunk.) Bacchus, I am going to write down all the products advertised....I'm not too savvy with that type of finding the affiliates research, but just tell me where and who to send letters to and I'll make it this weekend's project.
Helio, Crest, Nintendo, Taco Bell, Playstation, XBOX360, Games for Windows, Scion (a car?) Rhapsody, Allstate, Target, Subway, Clean & Clear, Progressive, REELZ channel This is just for the particular area that I'm in...I suspect it varies from place to place, but I dunno.
Lord you guys. I'm supposed to be writing a paper and now I'm exploring RW cast myspace pages. I'm less upset by the shit they write on their pages than I am by the people who comment on them. Trisha has real fans!! Someone said that Trisha was her favorite RW cast member of all the seasons! A mother of 4 said that Trisha was a great role model for her 4 daughters! wtfwtfwtf?? I mean, I guess I already knew that there were some serious idiots out there because a certain president of a certain North American country was re-elected, but this truly confrims it for me. by the by, Trisha wrote that if she could meet anyone, she would like to meet Jessica Simpson. OK, back to the paper.

There is actually an army of Trisha fans out there canvasing the interwebs spreading her sacred gospel of hate and intolerance. The most common excuse for being a fan of the blonde charging rhino is, "I like her because she makes things interesting." When will people realize you can do classy and interesting at the same time?
Helio, Crest, Nintendo, Taco Bell, Playstation, XBOX360, Games for Windows, Scion (a car?) Rhapsody, Allstate, Target, Subway, Clean & Clear, Progressive, REELZ channel
Thanks for the list! You are correct, the commercials will vary, but this is a good base. I'll do some research and pick a "target" for us later today.
Parisa should have said, I will pray for you Trisha. That would have gotten Trisha.
I think what she actually said would be hard to top. It was mature and spoken with a calm voice. During RRVR, Susie and then Tori always saying, "I'll pray for you" to fans who did not like them was really grating and just fueled the campaign against them IMHO. It is a very self righteous thing to say unless you actually mean it...
blonde charging rhino
dead on with the description but I would go one further and say the Rhino is Rabid. Don't they know that the only judge is God(if that is who you believe in) ...or the guy who is the "bouncer" outside the Pearly white gates ( I don't quite know if he takes Gods orders or if he is trusted to make his own better decision as to who gets in, since I am not that religious...anyone know?)

But Parisa did do the cl***y thing with no emotion in her voice and calmly said have a safe flight. She was very mature.

OK, back to the paper.
I voted for a certain North American President, even went to the inauguration (do not want to get into a political discussion) and I am a christian, but I would never say or think that just because Trisha claims to be Super Christian that I admire her. I am sure since Trisha said she was saving herself for marriage (but then said she did not), the Mother thought she has good morals. She does not act like a Christian or like she has christ in her heart. She is why people attack christianity for being a hateful religion, it is not. She is. Something bad will happen to her. Mark my words, she has so much hate inside her, very insecure.
Does anyone know what month of the production Trisha went home? i know they were there from like february to may or something, was it the end of march that she went home? and does anyone know when Shauvon left?? i am just wonderin, out of curiosity :)
She is why people attack christianity for being a hateful religion, it is not.
At least Trisha was a fake who was easy to spot. People like Susie from Road Rules hide in plain site for years and unless you actually hear about what is being said and happening behind your back, you'd have no idea how evil she was! Susie was exposed for a hateful fraud by appearing on these reality shows, which has probably saved hundreds, maybe thousands of people in her hometown from thinking she actually might be a good person. Those are the type of people that really give organized religion a bad name. The ones you can't spot as frauds until it is to late. I don't want to get into a political discussion either, but I will just add that my favorite time of the year is when XYZ Republican is reported as gay, and they previously spent their entire career preaching against homosexuals (like Trisha) either in some mega Church or in Congress. That is REALLY what makes Christians look like hateful hypocrites.
OT: I'm feeling pretty darn neglected around here. ;) I come into these RW threads just so I can see some discussion. Maybe I WILL go and watch the episodes on MTV just so I can feel included. I'm teasing. It's nice to see you all having fun. :D I can't wait for BB to start up so I can participate in that! You've stolen my Bacchus and I want him back! What about our shows???? Huh? (that was poor rendition of a neglectful 'wife'...just substitute shows with children...probably missed the mark. lol oh well)

If you don't get that one on MTV Canada I'd highly recommend watching it online so you can take part! ;) It has been hard focusing on other shows the last two weeks as we are really at the climax of this one right now!...and with the spoiler just released on that other thread, I think it is going to get messy around here! It doesn't help that just about all the other shows are freaking DOA with the writers strike. ..

Again just because someone says they are a christian does not mean they are. There are many, many hypocritical Democrats too. Like Limosine Liberals that are against Global Warming but fly in lear jets or reject wind farms on their property. Or use all the tax loopholes available to them to avoid paying taxes. Or invest in companies that are kicking out Katrina victims out of their homes in New Orleans. There is hyprocisy all around. Republicans are disgusted too when a Larry craig says I am not gay, when clearly he is and he has been pandering to a false base. Most church services are not preaching against homosexuality every Sunday, my church does not and I go to church every Sunday in the deep South, Mississippi. They preach about loving one another, improving one self, serving God. We had a youth on youth day one Sunday that said, you older folks it is wrong not to love gays and lesbians, love one another and it got a resounding amen. I have a friend whose music director of her church, is living with his boyfriend. This is in Mississippi. Republicans are not for all things in the platform. Some are for low taxes and less government and some are for social issues. It all varies. It is not fair to paint them with the same brush. Trisha is horrible and it offends me that she wraps herself in christianity. I was so afraid that people would think that is how the majority of Christians are like. Trisha has no conscious, she is not concerned that she hurt another human being. Why would anybody believe she is a christian, she is not about loving one another. I could claim that I am a genius, but no one would believe me if I couldn't add 2 plus 2. Susie always seemed like a fraud to me. Again actions speak louder than words, just like Trisha.
chopkins, for someone who doesn't want to get into a political discussion, you certainly do have an awful lot to say about politics and less to say about the real world. There are so many flaws in your arguments (??) that I can't even begin to respond to this. Nor should I, since this is a forum for the real world.

And that all Christians are not against Gays and Lesbians, I should have been more concise and clear, I took a long time to say that. Sorry.

Glad we can get right back to making fun of Trisha unabated by partisan values and beliefs. ;)
That's perfectly fine Chopkins, I understood what you were saying and how you were applying it. :D Could be I was skimming the RW content. LOL We all have different political and religious beliefs and that's what makes each one of us unique. We don't have to agree or even understand what those beliefs are, just accept that each has their own right to their opinion. However, this is not the forum to debate that ;) (Yes, I am wearing my Mod hat...one of a very few times) So to keep the peace (not saying it's un-peaceful) for the future let's stick to the topic of the RW and its cast. Feel free to discuss those other topics in pm's or start a topic in the Off Topic forum. Carry on p.s. I just wanted to extend my welcome to all our new members and lurkers out there reading this forum. It's great to see all this activity. :)
OMG I would have LOVED it!!! maybe she will read this and say it at the reunion!!!! HOPEFULLY anyway. This is one reunion that I just can't wait for!!
On the Reunion show I bet Parisa will be way past the incident and even though Trisha will pretend that she is over it - she will actually still be bitter. The thing with getting kicked off the show is that you don't get the good ending edit where they have everyone hugging and living happily ever after. That last picture in everyone's head will be Trisha packing her bad attitude and being sent out the Sydney Real World house door with her tail between her legs. That is how she will always be remembered. Forever and ever and ever and ever.... Not that she deserves any better. ;)
In case anyone was wondering, Assli was only there for a week and a half before Trisha left! And she was crying??? These people give me a headache. Oh, and it looks like Miss Trisha only lasted for seven weeks. AHAHAHA!

It was an educated guess. :D Right after Ashli showed up, Kelly Anne and Parisa are talking about her and one of them says something to the extent of "It took us six weeks to get to where we are." I read a recent interview with Ashli that said that she was only there a week and a half before the Trisha/Parisa showdown. Thus, I calculated that as Trisha going home sometime in week 7.

Newnan's Ashli Robson, 19, and a 2006 graduate of East Coweta High School, is "a big believer in no regrets," which is a good thing when you're part of the cast of MTV's "The Real World." HAHAHAHAHAHA No crap, sleeping with a guy who has a gf you better have that philosophy, lol. "I'd go up to crew members, who were all super good-looking, super delicious, and say, 'Hi. I'm Ashli,'" she said, "and they would say, 'yeah, I know.' And that was it; they're still not allowed to communicate with anyone from the crew." She really is a ********
Link to ASSLI interview http://content.times-herald.com/290373242489308.bsp
she alluded to bad things happening, maybe she has started to feel guilty about her actions.
"The hardest thing for my mom to watch was me smoking a cigarette," said Robson. "She flipped out about that, but she remembers how it is to be a young person. She's pretty understanding overall. She knows what goes on." Uh oh, if the hardest thing for Ashli's mom is to watch her daughter smoking, I really don't know what she's gonna go when she sees her lushing and ******* it up with the likes of Dummiebear. And did i misread that, but did it say that Ashli now considers Parisa one of her best friends?? Also, does anyone know how much these people actually do make on the challenges? Also, Bacchus, do you know if it's pretty rare that someone would turn them down if they were invited on one? And is there resentment from other cast past cast members who have not been invited?
