I just think the twists just force drama. I miss the original RW so much. I hate seeing this cast just talk about the twist and wondering who is coming for the next person. I rather see the cast interact and talk about real shit. I liked the orignial rw where they couldn't talk about stuff like that so they had to talk about real shit and to open up.
I am the only one that think the original 7 cast members are not that bad? All of them are hot head and have got in an argument or fight at some point...At this point I don't feel like none of them have been really background characters.

I absolutely agree but at the same time I feel like even if they didn't go with the twist, the type of people that have been casted the last couple of years changes it as well. The last few seasons had a fair share of thirsty camera lovers.

They did just like explosion, but they decide not to show it and just focus on the twist to create the storylines and edit out other stuff that doesn't add up to the storyline they want to give to each cast member.
I feel like without the twist ratings wouldn't have increase and it would have been the same as the first 3 epsiodes throughout the season. The ratings have increase since the twist came out to play. Even if it's not doing amazing, it's still their number 1 show on MTV from this week. If it was a normal real world ratings would be the same as the first epsiodes. Normal real world is not that marketable now days.
The problem with that is since most of the roommates are hotheads they're all competing for the same amount of attention and getting into repetitive fights over some of the most trivial and petty reasons. Casting people with similar personalities doesn't make the show interesting to me. That makes it boring. The only things keeping me watching this season is Madison and the twist with the "skeletons."

I agree. Most of them are trying to be the leader, the loudest, the "baddest" and it's just annoying. To me, Madison is the only interesting one because you can tell the way she acts is a front she puts on because of the incredibly serious stuff she's been through in the past. I can't wait to learn more about her when her skeleton(s?) come.
