Glass House- ABC
The Glass House features fourteen contestants living and competing for a quarter million dollars in a totally wired, state-of-the-art house. But the contestants aren’t just playing the game with each other – they’re also playing the game to win over the audience each week. Through online and their social networks, viewers will be encouraged to support and follow the contestants they like and those they don’t. Viewer votes will help determine which contestants are sent home and also which eliminated players will earn the chance to return to “The Glass House” to compete each week. Viewer feedback doesn’t end there! Several times a week, viewers can watch a live online feed of the players and vote to decide everything from what they wear and eat, to the games they play, even where they sleep. Viewers will also have the chance to give their favorite players feedback on their game from outside the house. How the contestants use that information is up to them, because in the end it’s about who plays the best social game and the most important alliance a player can have is with their fans!

How does the show work? When the show begins, fourteen people are living in a house together, participating in challenges - with America making the decisions about what happens in the house. Each week there will be somebody eliminated from the house. The winner is the last person left in the house - as voted on by you, the public! What are the decisions that America makes to effect what happens in the house? America will have the opportunity to vote on a variety of things relating to the house. Not only will the public ultimately decide who stays or goes, but it will also influence other show elements like including what the houseguests wear, where they sleep, what they eat, and who gets another shot at the game. How does a player on the show get removed from the house? After losing a challenge, the team captain of the losing team goes to "limbo" - along with another member from the losing team that the house votes on. What is "limbo?" Limbo is where two people from the house go after losing a challenge. It's an area outside of the house where the two people go until one of them is allowed to return to the house. How are the captains for the challenges determined? The two people with the fewest votes from the public become team captains for that week's challenge. How does somebody return to the house from limbo? America chooses who they think deserves to return to the house. All the power is in the public's hands. What happens to the person who America doesn't choose to return to the house? That person is out of the game permanently. How many episodes will air for The Glass House? Ten episodes will air as part of season 1. How can I help determine what happens in the house? You can influence a variety of events in the house by voting in the Live Stream Voting, the Daily Voting and by choosing your favorites in the house. What is the Live Stream Voting? The Live Stream Voting lets you have real-time influence of events seen during the live stream. What is the Daily Voting? The Daily Voting includes a number of voting opportunities each day through which you can influence events in the house - including major decisions such as who should be given a chance to return to the house from Limbo. This voting impacts on-air episodes. How does the voting for favorites work? You can vote on as few or as many people that you'd like to stay in the house. At the end of the current voting period, the two people with the fewest number of votes become team captains for that week's challenge. When does the live streaming occur? Four hours on Monday evening from 8pm PST to 12am PST - and also Tuesday thru Thursday at 12pm PST. I'm going to give it a shot. I have been fed up with Big Brother the past few seasons and this is Big Brother with a few twists except on ABC instead of CBS - so why not.
Yea, I am also excited for this too. I will still watch Big Brother but this seems like it could be a hit too.

You're definitely right, B. Big Brother hasn't been great the past couple of years due to ****ty casting. I need something new, so hopefully this brings what I'm looking for.

Apparently there was a Live stream today for the show on ABC.com. I watched some of the cast videos and I don't mind I feel about them. Seems kind of boring.

Next reality show ABC comes up with will be people being stranded on an Island competing against each other and voting one another off, except there's no vote for who wins just a series of challenges between final 2 so its nothing like Survivor.

I mean, The Talk(CBS) is a carbon copy of The View(ABC).
Wow sounds interesting. I'll def be tuning in just to see what it's like. When's it start? You never know, if I like it maybe I'll apply ;) If I can't get on TRW I at least have to try for other shows right? PS speaking of Big Brother how old do you have to be?

Dani was only 18 in BB8, and Michelle was 18 or 19 in BB4, but they were both part of the major twists for their seasons.

It was changed after Michelle. And Dani was allowed in the house due to turning 21 during the filming block. I'll be tuning into this, but I have a feeling it's not going to last at all.

I would've sworn Dani was 18, but now that you mention it I do remember her turnin 21, but lying about it. I'll check Glass House out, but from what I've heard from people that have seen the live feeds, it's not going to something that I really get into. Just another harmless reality show that requires no thinking on my end.
Alex is on one of those VH1 dating shows right now. He seems like a ****** bag tbh. The show is called Excused.
BB fans, don't forget that this show premieres tonight! I'll be tuning in just to see if it's a rip-off or if it sucks tonight :D
I hope it does well, the concept seems interesting. And now we have the choice to vote whoever off

Anyway, I prefer the term "inspired by" The Talk is so much more fresher and tolerable. I can not stand Hasselbeck and her damn personality. The person who make TV are Sherry, Whoopi and Joy but even then that's not much.
Glass House in on!!! I wonder how many CBS execs are watching.
This is actually pretty cool so far.
It's on the east coast right now, just waiting for my stupid cable box to finish rebooting so I can finally watch this!
Alex is annoying me so much already. I can't imagine watching him on 24/hr feeds.
This cop guy reminds me of Eric from BB6. Lol.
Alex is annoying me so much already. I can't imagine watching him on 24/hr feeds.
I agree. Hopefully they vote for him so that we can vote him off.
Woah this guy is going hard right from the beginning! I wonder if America will keep him though....
Lol what was that a Xbox Kinect? What was up with the signature moves? Idk how I feel about this show just yet.....
Woah this guy is going hard right from the beginning! I wonder if America will keep him though....
He needs to calm the f down. The ending was a bit shady. Not sure what to make of it.
Lol, I love this show already! Alex's fight was epic. I would like to see him return to the house for more entertainment.
The live feed is free btw, View-and-Vote - Glass House - ABC.com
Lol, I love this show already! Alex's fight was epic. He should be smarter about how to go about things otherwise he's going to go up every time his team loses.
If Alex goes, then I won't even watch anymore. Aside from him, the show sucked IMO.
Tat one guy was pushing really hard to be hated. Annoying.
