Cut Throat - Ty Ruff

First Appearance: Real World: D.C. Will he be an Alton/Darrell or a LT/David B? These are the two categories black athletic looking males fall into this show and all eyes are on Ty to see what he has! Fresh off his Real World season, where he made waves for his relationship with Emily and for throwing Andrew off a balcony, Ty is no stranger to drama. On the Real World he had to share himself with 7 other individuals, while on Cutthroat it will be 29 others: will he be able to handle it? Will the romance between Emily and Ty rekindle or will either find new loves in the house? Previous Challenges: None

In my opinion, and I don't think it was intentional, the description should be redone. "Will he be an Alton/Darrell or a LT/David B? These are the two categories black athletic looking males fall into" --Just because he's black doesn't mean he is more similar to another black cast member. He could be more similar to Abe, Noor, or anyone else, than Alton or LT. It sort of unintentionally implies that what they have in common, their skin color, makes him more similar in personality and athletic performance than one of another skin. People do it with white NBA players too, and I don't think it's just.
It wasn't intentional, but the fact is every time people mention Ty in Challenges and how him being strong will help him dominate, people quickly mention LT as proof that it wont always be the case.

I see him as being a great asset to his team but at the same token being very stubborn.

And lol at LT being brought up. Thats a perfect example though.
I see him as being a great asset to his team but at the same token being very stubborn.
me too.
Sweet pecs, Ty...
lol I saw someone tweeting BMP yesterday asking "Why is Ty the only shirtless male on the MTV.com pics?" it made me lol.
Sweet pecs, Ty...
I will never care about him, even if he does have sweet pecs. DC did him no good.
Black males don't do well on challenges(expect for Alton and Darrell). Ty is just another LT/David B. Nehemiah is the best black male competitor outside Darrell and Alton, but he was still average at best.

But personally I hope he sucks at challenges just like he sucks at life.
Nice smile, but did he honestly take his shirt off for his pictures?? *****.
He does not have the money for t-shirts or what?
he makes me very uncomfortable. he's too aggressive towards females, and as a woman whose been in similar positions with men (them getting very verbally aggressive the way he is, almost stalkish) I find it creepy.
The person he is most similar to on the Challenges is Dunbar. Big muscles, no cardio, weak social/political game.
The person he is most similar to on the Challenges is Dunbar. Big muscles, no cardio, weak social/political game.
You hit the nail on the head!!! Both Ty and Dunbar are attractive and athletic but their temper and toxic personalities end up being their downfall. Dunbar has at least learned to dial it back and keep a lower profile in recent challenges, looks like Ty isn't gonna be so smart based on the previews for the next episode.

I do not find either of those guys the slightest attractive.
Oh fab you know you have watched Dummy Bears tape over and over again. Don't lie!
Oh fab you know you have watched Dummy Bears tape over and over again. Don't lie!
Thats not fair CRG!! You left out a few overs. :D
Oh fab you know you have watched Dummy Bears tape over and over again. Don't lie!
The one with him and the big black guy? ;)
Seriously? Seriously? Seriously? I would rather run my nails over a chalkboard than to do that again.
So you watched it in the first place?! :P
So you watched it in the first place?! :P
So what? We have needs. I watched it to get my daily laugh quota.

I watched it to get my daily laugh quota.
Many reasons actually. Curiosity, a reminder to never watch it again, a bigger picture of why Dunbar will never be attractive, and of course what molds said. :D
Did anyone see the challenge dailies where he flips out on Emily yet again? He's nuts, I hate him. He's gross and out of control.
He's a man child the way he acts.
He's a man child the way he acts.
I wouldn't even call him a man.
I think Ty is in the closet.

I think he just says and does things purposely to make people mad. You could see on his season that he enjoys ******* people off.
