Porsha Williams is rumored to be on this. Don't know much about her except she is the prettiest human I've ever seen and she's really funny. I hope she is on and goes deep.

Yeah that's stupid. Certain people are expected to give more than others, and they know that clearly since they've made a lot of bigger personalities traitors aka the main characters. Someone like a Phaedra should be making more than people like Deontay and Kevin from that season who were never going to bring that much
Imagine the housewives finding out they are gonna get paid the same amount as a random celebrity's brother who's never been on TV before. Dylan did provide but that's besides the point.
Unless they upped the cash prize, I think it was silly. its completely alienating star casts if they do that. Now I see this purely as a "redemption" show for those looking for good publicity, like sandoval and I know Maura Higgins is desperate for redemption.
However, we may get more LIusa casting since they have a preexisting relationship with Peacock and I am not mad at that lol.
You can't complain about casting people to rehab their image and then ask for Love Island people who are all looking to be influencers. It's essentially the same them, guarded people protecting their image. You need the older reality stars who just like to compete, don't care about followers, and come from the mindset that drama sells.
I am not really complaining that theyre casting people to rehab their image, I am saying thats the main draw now, since money is out the window. Thats the reason why any big names will sign on. Tell the older reality stars to not care about the pay and it would be fine, but I dont see that happening for most
also I need you to understand last season success of LIUSA was an anomaly. That cast was the only one to get the achievements they have. So yah, from this current season on, we will get a bunch of influencers, but before that, it was pretty average people, who I do believe deserve a chance just as much as any seasoned reality player. And some of them (Justine, Middlebrooks, Ray) have done multiple shows.
But really the point of my comment? Less money=less names in the mix, meaning Peacock will be grasping more for casting and is more likely to pull from their own shows, especially shows that have cast people for the first time on reality tv (ie low pay.) As it is now, nobody from LIUSA has appeared on traitors at all, and Maura (who technically is LIUK and just a host for USA) will be the first. I am excited for the possibility because I will actually know those people, vs all the bravo/survivor/drag/bachelor people I have no idea of.

I don't want just a cast of big names showing up because they're getting a fat check. That's going to turn everything into fake drama because they're just going to try to "put on a show" instead of being authentic. With that said, yeah, everyone does not deserve the same pay unless the base pay is high.

It depends on what you consider big names. For me Charla and/or Mirna would be HUGE names but most people would say, "who the heck are they".
