Recruiting and murdering the same night is unfair unless faithfuls are told a recruitment happened.
It's typically a murder or a recruit, though obviously they could change things up. Additionally the faithfuls can usually figure out a recruit was offered - precisely because no one is murdered. It's then up to the players as to what they say about it.
Funny how the Danielle narrative online went from "worst traitor of all time why was she cast" to "she's so fake and too much acting I hate her and hope she goes home"
Wonder if Danielle's willing to throw Brittny under the bus if it comes down to it
This tea is hot! The girls seem to have mended everything, but this would just open that wound bigger because it would seem like Danielle recruited Britney in order to throw her under the bus. Part of me thinks Danielle would because it's truly her only valid option, but the other part of me thinks Danielle has become too much of a mess to do it. What do you think???

I don't think that would be a good idea. Because going into the next roundtable, it'll be 6 people after they murder someone. If they can convince two people to vote with them, they can pretty much sail to the end because after this, it's a mystery banishment. It would be smart for them to first murder someone who would never be on their side like Gabby or Ivar, maybe Ivar since Gabby would be too obvious.
Danielle is a quintessential old school player and the fans can't handle it. I feel for Carolyn, but she shouldn't have been made a traitor. The fans identified with her insecurity and vulnerability to the point where the discussion around the show became very personal and parasocial

She IS over-acting a little too much, but I find it funny. Like girl put on a performance for them!
It was so over the top and ridiculous but I was dying laugh and replayed it like 7 times. People need to learn to appreciate ridiculous moments & drama and stop crying about it.

Carolyn was a great traitor until literally this past episode. I think she was a perfect pick because people didn't expect it. Last season Dan and Parvati were so obvious from a production point of view, whereas Phaedra was a good pick because it was unexpected (along with her being camera ready). Carolyn is sort of the Phaedra of this season in being an expected pick who also did well in the role.
In terms of online discussion, that type of shit is going to happen regardless. Similar things happened with Peppermint, Phaedra, and Bob TDQ too. These people really couldn't have handled reality TV in the 2000s.

Yeah that's a good point from a TV perspective. Still, I think Carolyn had a much more sympathetic edit the others you mentioned. This is the first season for a lot of common folk given the ratings, including many who underestimate how ruthless the show can be. Phaedra, i.e., was a type of player to root for because she's likeable, funny, and takes no shit. While Carolyn had the likeability factor, she also had the "helpless underdog who always gets stepped on" edit that gave her an unprecedented amount of support. So the fact that she went out the way she did and without being the last OG traitor standing had to have been a gut punch for the fans.
Fighting for my life defending Danielle on Reddit lol
I'm not even going to look because I know it will make me mad. What could they possibly be mad at Danielle about? She tried to work with Carolyn but Carolyn wouldn't trust her again. So her next best move was to save herself. I really enjoyed Carolyn all season, but the sob story at the round table was too dramatic for me. Demanding too many sympathy tears just for being quirky. (Idk her survivor story so maybe it's deeper than that)

I wish we could just like stuff on here because yes chile!
Danielle literally never brought up Carolyn's name first, other than perhaps when she spoke to Britney who is an ally (but Carolyn had mentioned Britney at that point). Since then Carolyn brought up Danielle at a roundtable when it was pointless, and last night Carolyn again mentioned Danielle first at the roundtable. Danielle pulled a great move when she asked everyone at the table if she'd brought up Carolyn's name to any of them.
The one thing I think Danielle could have done better is to say the reason she suspected Carolyn is because of how Carolyn kept coming after her. If it comes across as Danielle just 'knew' Carolyn was a traitor, it makes Danielle also look like a traitor in the same way Rob looked like one. Danielle painting it more as she was just defending herself against someone trying to frame her gives it all much better context.

Carolyn was not stepped on and if she wants to be taken serious she needs to not like a child 24/7.
Both Carolyn and Danielle were great Traitors IMO just on two completely different spectrums of gameplay. They've carried this season for me.

Add another player that is going to jump Danielle at the reunion.

Good for her! Love that.
Danielle <3
Danielle swearing on her family on a rtv show is such a non issue lmao
Danielle is MOTHER
Britney is also a Queen!
I actually liked this stupid chess challenge, it's campy and dumb, but it gives the traitors something to actually do during the mission.
