Brady was great, actually. John K would have been good and messy if he didn't check out after Brady's vote. Dolly was beautiful, but you hate beautiful women so no surprise for your distain. The only thing Eliza offered was material for Scout and Twila to be hilarious with. They could have done the same thing with Mia except she would have fought back. Chris is one of the worst pre new era winners. I guess you only hate female hillbillies, sexist.
Objectively, Eliza was great casting. As is Josh, I HATE him but you can't say he doesn't deliver in the challenge and Eliza didn't deliver in Vanuatu. Dolly was gorgeous and had an interesting occupation but was maybe the worst player of the season. She was not a robbed goddess, she did that all by herself. John K was a dead fish in confessionals, I don't think I remember him smiling all season. I agree he checked out, but he got a second chance at life with the swap and didn't make anything of that either. Brady and JP were the only "young bucks" worth anything imo. But you can only judge *potential* so much where Survivor is concerned. Brady, Dolly, Mia & John K maybe had ten-fifteen minutes of airtime between them. Not enough to judge one way or the other honestly. The only pre-mergers I was attached to one way or the other was Brady and bloodthirsty Lisa.
I hate when people think just because someone gives forced dramatics that they are "delivering" and great casting. When it's not authentic and say cringe you turn off the channel...that's not delivering.

.....Where are you getting forced dramatics? This was 2004, being a reality drama queen could not pay the rent at that point. Look what happened to poor Jerri. Eliza was unabashedly authentic. She was a freshly 21 bratty New Yorker who loved to hear herself talk. Was she pleasant? Hell no, but few overindulged teenage girls are. She was like a Rob Cesternino, a massive fan that got cast as soon as she turned 21. The last thing she was thinking about was spinning a certain narrative for herself. I can't speak on what she does outside of Vanuatu, but on her original show she was who she was, warts and all. The only thing fake about her might be her TC faces, but I don't have a hard time believing those are her genuine reactions. There are extra people in this world and Eliza is certainly one of them.
