I'm reading responses to this awful news. I agree it wouldn't be too awful if they did the reunion the next day instead of immediately after the votes are read. Give finalists time to reflect and spill tea. Also bring back pre-merge people
jesse the casting director for amazing race survivor and big brother posted an article on his ig that survivor is doing the best amongst MULTIPLE cbs shows, and the rankings were based on ratings 3 days after each shows respective air date so that it included streaming numbers. so "live/cable ratings" don't really matter anymore

COVID is over. Concerts and festivals are back. Tv talk show audiences are back. That is no longer an excuse and I'd still prefer no audience and a live reunion than the reveal on the island.
I agree Timster, Survivor is dead. They just need to call it Probstland or something. The more his dementia kicks in, the more he kills the show. He is so out of touch with what makes Survivor great. He has no idea how he is ruining the show. It sucks no more reunions fully made-up and silencing the prejury. I hate Probst so much.
The fact that we won't ever see a reaction as epic as VEE again makes my heart hurt. I'm so emotional rewatching the crowd ROAR waving around towels in Vecepias support as she's rolling around on the floor hollering in tears. It was so so good. Every winner deserves that moment.

Okay fair, but idk I find it funny that their twists keep failing lol. The shot in the dark is unsuccessful for two complete seasons, and the do or die was also unsuccessful two seasons in a row
the live reunion segments used to fully annoy me .. i dont care to see jeff garner more attention to himself and give lil awkward white kid's the spotlight. the only thing I agree about is that the cast needs more time to decompress before answering reunion questions.
It was a great cast and all things considered a great season. We were VERY lucky with the outcome of the Hour Glass twist. What they really screwed up AGAIN was the random tribes split halfway through the merge. That makes no sense and is so unfair...so unnecessary and such bs.
this just isnt as good as a cagayan or david vs goliath regadless of results tonight, the show has totally lost its way. and based on ratings it sounds like they are continuing it
starting with three tribes is the biggest thing i hate. alot of the things they do wouldnt work if they start with two tribes so thats why I pinpoint it to that.
Despite the twist heavy season, I feel like the twists weren't a bigger storyline than the gameplay. I really enjoyed this season a lot, and I think this cast is some of the stronger one in recent seasons.

Happy for the queen. When the 41 and 42 cast leaked back to back the one and only person I stanned was Maryanne because she's a fast food worker and looked so fun. Happy for her. The finale was boring as hell though but maybe because spoilers have ruined the suspense of the show and knowing we won't see them all dressed up cute at the reunion left me with nothing exciting to see.
the finale was boring, or at least the second half was. excited for maryanne but truly i think romeo killed the finale for me. jonathan and/or lindsay should have been final 3/4
i didn't read spoilers (what i did come across said Jenny won) so the fact of knowing spoilers vs not wouldn't have effected how i feel.
I didn't feel excited watching this season 43 preview. I realize that all the seasons are going to mesh together now. I remember when we would get to watch the theme of the new season get revealed at the reunion it was so exciting if it wasn't leaked already and even if it was leaked we still got to get confirmation. I remember the blood versus water theme being revealed was such a big deal at the time. Now all we get is a number and basic confessionals from people telling us they're going to win the show as if that's supposed to make us want to watch....
A funny thing is people complain about the themes for so long but if they're not going to change the location then we need something to make each season feel different.

I'm so happy with this winner! My second favorite winner of all time right behind Parvati. This was a great season
