For some reason this felt like this was filmed like 2 years ago but the thread was made this year lol

same. but that interview with frankie was posted on dec 30 and he said it was filmed a few months ago so its been like a year since it filmed. That is pretty crazy for a reality show that probably wasnt filming for very long

The reboot was announced in July 2021 to be aired that fall. So I am assuming production started that July & probably ended maybe August or September 2021? FOREVER AGO. They can keep it at this point ... (although I'll prob tune in still hahaha)

I'm too much of a reality tv connoisseur to not check this out and anything Tamar bring me on !!

Its been  afew years since i watched anything on vh1... I know Mtv and Vh1 are sister channels but does VH1 edit out fighting like mtv does now? I would think with the Lhh franchise they wouldnt but just curious if we will see frankie getting punched on this

they edit everything out. LHH now is a completely different show from what it was a few years ago. It's mostly about families and businesses they aren't allowed to get physical and there's only a few arguments.

Wow.... I will never understand. Its not like families are gathering around the tv to watch any reality show on mtv or vh1. They dont need to childproof these type of shows

The merge between CBS and Viacom cause all this

I dont understand WHY though. Cbs is a basic channel, okay I get that... but why put those standards for primetime cable television?

Ive noticed how shows on streaming services (including ones that started out on channels such as cbs) have more cussing, nudity, and sex so its seems more normalized than ever.

Theyre stopping their own bag. At least offer the shows with fights/swears on paramount plus. Put the "family friendly" one on tv, and the adult one on streaming. Nobody watches love and hip hop to see them get along. And also, I REALLY want this show to not be edited like that so I can see who punched poor frankie and why

malcolm in the middle will get the most airtime on this

Viacom killed these shows Sad

did it really? I just assumed it was bc of Covid and the world changing lollll

they heavily edit down the fights now with there being tons of security and hardly any allowance of it getting to that point and it being practically unrecognizable from it's peak- long story short we'll see everything but physical fights

The way dennis reacts everytime he meets someone lmaoooo

Is it me or is manny eyeing these men down right in their face when introducing himself lmaooo

is it good?

I am liking it so far, but the editing is weird. As if they dont give enough time for anything to develop before it rushes into the next thing

Where can this be watched?

This is exactly what I noticed. Everything. Seemed so rushed. I wonder if it has anything to do with them trying to do it on purpose since no one has attention spans anymore. I personally liked it. Reminded me of how I miss the 2005-2010 era of reality tv. Rodman is gold.

OMG Rodman is hilarious. Paw Paw is fighting with everyone and they don't even know why he is fighting with them. Neither does he, he is in his own world. Then he wanders into the girls room at night butt naked?!  I can't lol!  Then he claims he thought he was in his house?!  I love the bizarre behaviour. His strange confessionals saying he married himself 20 years ago and that's the only marriage he could maintain lol. His introduction to Lana was the best exchange I've seen in tv in a long time, when she introduced herself to him and he replied "Yes I do white girls" I about died! This show is pretty good. Thank you Vh1 for bringing back trashy reality tv in a limited capacity.

Rodman really is reality gold. That white girl comment and dr feel good had me dying. I love the cast dynamics, there was a few I was weary on preshow, but I think they mesh well together.

I think rodman is the one who punched frankie based on the preview ( or at least one of the punches). I doubt we will see the actual blow, but I cant imagine Frankie doing anything worthy of a punch. The size difference between the two is extreme so it wouldnt be good look for rodman (not that he even cares) . it will be interesting to see how editing handles it

Wait what?  Someone punches someone this season?  How did I miss that?!  Ok this cast delivers.

even Manny, the makeup guy is cool. I thought I wouldn't like him but his story is pretty interesting. Him not knowing who Rodman was was pretty cringe but it explains the generation gap between the cast member. Sadly it isn't the 90s anymore when Rodman was a household name.

Chavo, there was an interview with Frankie that was shared on the first page where he said that he got punched in the face twice. Unfortunately, we will most likely not see it because Vh1 is a sister network of cbs, and apparently they have stopped showing fights on the love and hip hop shows so I assume the same goes for this.

i also was surprised i liked manny, hes got a great personality. His and frankies friendship seems so cute lol

Just imagine how much better this show would be on paramount

Ok I'll need to go back and catch up on all this tea. Frankie seems so chill and nice. Can't imagine why anyone would punch him?  If anyone it could be Dennis since he is so out of it and fighting with people for no reason at all. He seems to misunderstand everything that is said and just realtiates. It's great for entertainment purposes but would be hard to live with. This show is so good. Takes me back to when I used to love watching reality tv instead of hate watching which is what almost every show has become for me lately.

Just watched the video seems like it's August who punched Frankie. Weird how production kept stepping in trying to tell the cast the darkness is not what they wanted. They wanted more of the happy hour lucky stuff like the Lucha crap from last episode. We don't want that. We want fights!  Let this cast keep delivering without stepping in. What's with all these shows wanting their reality shows to be a cartoon all of a sudden?

Just imagine how much better this show would be on paramount

would've been better there and maybe the episodes would've flowed better

It was good and I'm glad they gave use two hours that actually felt like one episode-- the cast works well and the little antics are refreshing to see without seeing them slaving a group of people in a worry of a grand prize instead just them having fun and having to deal with day to day in house drama-- however the editing is a bit all over the place and I wish they would structure the show a bit cause it sometimes feel confusing with the format definitely for new comers to the franchise-- Tamar & Manny are the stars so far and August is sexy but annoying
