In Netflix's newest original series, Stranger Things, we are transported back in time to the 80s sci-fi craze of Spielberg, Carpenter, and Stephen King. Set in Indiana in 1983, it follows the story of a young boy vanishing on the same night that a nameless girl appears out of thin air. As the town searches for the missing boy, his friends try to find the link between the girl and their friend. When supernatural events begin to happen all over the town, the growing mystery of the boy's disappearance gets stranger and stranger...
A love letter to movies of the 80s (ET, The Goonies, The Thing, etc), this new series looks more promising than I could have ever imagined. All 8 episodes will be released tomorrow on Netflix, so tune in and discover the mystery behind "Stranger Things".
"When a young boy disappears, his mother must confront terrifying forces in order to get him back."

Just finished episode 2. Not bad, kind of confused but I'm intrigued.
just finished this!!! was soooooo good!! the finale was absolutely AMAZING! I can't wait for next season
This show had it all. An awesome mystery, very well developed characters that you cared about, amazing cinematography and cgi, and that classic 80s movie vibe that brought me right back to my childhood favourites. If you have yet to watch this, I highly recommend!!
I just finished this. This was a great series. So many question need to be answered though but I guess they need to leave something to desire for season 2. I hope Jonathon and Nancy get together though. Lol Poor Barbara, it's sucks she died because Nancy was *****. Lol
I'm obsessed with this show. Saw a lot of people dressed up as El on Halloween weekend haha
there really should be more fans on vevmo... this is one of Netflix's best series!!!
I wish season 2 wasn't so far away
UGH I THOUGHT WE WERE GETTING SEASON TWO EARLIER
Stranger Things is definitely my favorite Netflix Original. Can't wait for Season 2.
I will say though--I liked season one much better the second time I watched it.
me too!!! i'm sad we had/have to wait more than a year for the next season.. oh well. netflix i'm sure will still come out with amazing things before then!!! Sense8 season 2 coming sooooon!!
That promo was everything.
I hope they call it Stranger Things 2. Lmao
My body is NOT ready!
Best new show of 2016. Not a fan of the wait, but I don't mind waiting for quaility.
Ugh that's so far away!
Is this show worth the hype? Heard many great things about this show.
Best. *******. Show. EVER! I'm obsessed! Finished both season in 3 days a couple days ago and I'm ready for season 3. You should def watch it.
Ozark is really good too so far. It's slow at times but I think the final episodes of season 1 should be really good.
holy shit, yeah, all of my good friends have finished season 2 and I havent even started the series yet lmao.
Thanks!
I legit still have not watched this yet. It has the boy from IT in it and he had me rolling throughout that entire movie ********.
Well he is not the funny one in this series. That goes to Dustin. Lol
Season 1 was amazing . I've only watch 2 episodes of season 2 ,its kind of losing me
No, IT had the boy from stranger things in it actually.
And tbh, IT sucked.
Season 2 is a different pace but the last few episodes that season minus episode 7 because that was reaaaaal off is good! I liked it!
Thats how I was with this season too for awhile, up until episode 3/4 then it really gets you. Definitely keep watching.
i liked episode 7 bc it was different, yet still tied in with Elevens storyline. I also really liked Kail
*****in
Thoughts on season 4?
Amazing. Glad the character's can save themselves without Eleven. It was getting tiresome.
It was great. Hopefully the last 2 episodes are as solid.
I thought it was really good. I think it does a good job at being scary and fresh. Eddie is a great addition to the cast. My only criticism is that Will/Mike/Jonathan's plotline seems very inconsequential to the plot. So inconsequential, that you didn't even notice they were completely absent from the Part I finale.
What I liked about Season 3 was that all the plotlines were separate but went together towards the end very well from investigating Billy, to the myster of Joyce's magnets, to Scoops Troop figuring out where the Russian base is, to Nancy/Jonathan investigating the rats. The same can be said for season 1. I kind of wish that had happened with Season 4. But overall, I really enjoyed it.
