also the people who cast this show are the old BB / Survivor & current BBCAN casting producers, Robyn Kass & co. basically the ones the BB fan base blamed for everything until they unfortunately was fired
there was a space yesterday and Dash and the Female Jessie gave some excess context.
Dash was in the alliance he called out but male Jessi was his biggest hater. I figure because let's be honest Jessie is the one white guy in the alliance he probably didn't want his spot taken.
Female Jessi was the Battleship captain on Brytons team. She revealed Bryton wasn't terrible just boisterous the real terrible person was the guy who answered the phone. Said everyone hated him.
She also said that Brytons battleship wouldn't have been sunk and they would have won if one of their teammates didn't yell out Brytons position on the board. She said they yelled it out to do "reverse psychology" but it didn't work and they sunk

Ratings for this are kind of insane, insiders are scrambling to find out how to replicate the controversy and engagement the first 5 episodes have brought.
"Squid Game: The Challenge was the most watched tv series on Netflix worldwide for the week of Nov. 20 to 26 with 20.1M views worldwide and a total of 85.7M hours viewed for the first five episodes in just five days on the services."

flop oh squid games got 1.65 BILLION hours in the first 28 days. BUT they don't use the same rating scale anymore. Starting April 2023 they changed it hours viiewed divided by total run time to simplify things. This naturally made viewing hours go down compared to the old system which I think was just total viewing hours.
The Netflix reality show's debut episode has racked up nearly 2M viewers after five days, according to official Barb audience figures supplied by overnights.tv.
The season premiere was the most-streamed show in the UK across major video-on-demand platforms, excluding Amazon Prime Video and Apple TV+.
Four other episodes of Squid Game: The Challenge also scored more than 1M viewers. The show's second installment came closest to episode one's performance with almost 1.7M viewers.
But flopped in the US In its first five days of availability, the premiere episode drew an audience of about 1.1M U.S. households, according to Samba TV.
which means season 2 will be more UK people and they were complaining about the skinny if Americans and the show being edited American style whatever the **** that means. They're so miserable and envious of us I can't stand it. It's so one sided because Americans love Brits. Meanwhile they're obsessed with our culture our music our movies our tv shows.
Timster lol that quadrupled the American numbers of its Netflix competitors. The Circle and Physical 100 used to be the best reality debut and those were like 300k and 400k
i think the cast breakdown will be similar but i bet they replace a few of the games obviously
I will say it was a pretty random hit like yeah it had the Korean version that definitely gave it eyes but like you should see the people who are now fighting tooth and nail to get interviews with contestants and create something similar.
Ive heard something like The Hunger Games but who knows how that would work

did you watch the cws ghetto version of the hunger games. It's just like the movie teams of 2 camped in the woods fighting for shelter and rewards but instead of killing one team was granted hunter the rest were prey and if you get caught by the hunter aka hide and seek/tag you're eliminated.

I think i vaguely remember that but didn't pay attention too hard. It wouldn't suprise me if they reboot that or revamp it
What are you're guys thoughts on Ashley? Just seemed to make no sense to me when you're going 5th anyways to not jump at the opportunity to make that deal to only have to go once. Then obviously when it was convenient she was like yep let's play as a team. Couldn't believe the rest of the group didn't just force her to keep going

I can't see her willing to go if they forced her. Someone from the group would crack and just go to save the rest of the group.
Johnny (Love Island) is still alive and well

Casting for Season 2 is open again

I hope KVM and Timster make the cast.
Yeah he was kind of a flop. I'll take him on 1 season of the challenge just to see him in oil wrestling in a speedo. Then he can leave episode 1

Jesse did an insightful Q&A on the filming time and red light green light.
I feel like I'm going to have to stay up and watch the next set of episodes. I'm bound to get spoiled somewhere if I wait.
when do the next episodes come out
after midnight tonight

going to be a great finale
LOL at them thinking one of the final 3 has any chance of winning the last challenge given the last people remaining
And yeah that post a few pgs ago appears to confirm who wins, they are too obvious
hope im wrong!
the most obvious red herring in reality tv show history please CD you can not be falling for that lol

I will would not nominate myself in this dice game. I think the **** not. Idc if everyone agrees I'm playing for 4.5 million dollars. **** that.
I can't see her willing to go if they forced her. Someone from the group would crack and just go to save the rest of the group.
The cast we had left in these second batch of episodes were not engaging to watch as the first batch but I think the games make up for it.
This "team player" shit is annoying. Play the game and win don't risk yourself for a dice game tf.
Team Ashley all the way. Playing to win not risking for game for others.
This sixth game is crazy basically heads up seven up kinda.
Well all my favorites were eliminated at marbles so this was anticlimatic.
based on the edit I totally disagree, you are wrong!
