This show has too many luck tasks. Who would sign up for season 2 knowing 80% of eliminations were via luck. If there was a deeper meaning or a clue to know which button to press that's one thing but this all feels rigged once again
Very happy Mai won. I was expecting a Phil win while they were playing Rock, paper, scissors. I felt like they were making it seem Phil was going to pick the right key even though Mai was winning the rounds.
idk for me personally this final episode wasnt as great at the rest of the season, but ofcourse that's what happens when you get an episode full of luck. I was happy all season because big players kept going home so I felt like they were doing an amazing job hiding the winner and not giving anyone a "winners editL But looking back, Mai was painted as the winner a while ago and I knew if she made it to f3 she'd most likely win. Other than that this was easily the best competitive show ive watched in a while, not sure why a season 2 is necessary but it is what it is.
Happy Mai won but yeah this was a game of luck and who can hide the best. There were some iconic moments but I leave feeling underwhelmed and not excited for season 2. A couple luck elements keep it fun, but being majority luck just isn't for me. We have Survivor for that.

Thats basically these reality tv shows are now. Big Brother and Survivor are basically luck base now which sucks.

survivor is a lot more luck based but a huge strategic social element.
big brother isn't that much luck. nowadays you have to be good at comps but its really about strategy too

yeah like Survivor is not skill based at all anymore. 2 weeks of your life to play a game with higher casting odds like seems like a good deal
yeah no. Beard didn't even have to play in circle of truth. He did nothing and it was obvious he was getting 3rd
also 95% odds of getting 0 screentime even if you get very far
So players don't get paid at all unless you're the winner?
they're not housed long enough for it to pass the threshold of a required stipend
i think anybody that makes it to Top 20 deserves a check tho maybe they can adjust that next time
