Send Diem Your Love - Part II

During the night People magazine released an article that Diem left the Challenge and is currently in the hospital recovering from surgery. She is battling cancer for the third time. This thread has been created to send Diem love from her fans and everyone that supports her. There will be NO Challenge talk in this thread.

Diem Brown's Cancer Returns, Reality Star Diagnosed with Colon Cancer

I will start: Diem - You are a beautiful soul. I think the way you have educated people over the years about cancer with your videos and articles has been incredibly strong and all your charity work has been nothing short of amazing. My heart is with you, CT, your family and friends and I hope to hear you are feeling well again soon.

This is a continuation. The Original Thread Can Be Found Here.

Okay, what if you want to do more than send her well wishes? Many of us already have. Weeks ago! What if we want to talk about what is happening, update each other, discuss our thoughts and views on whats happening. Can we not do that here? Does a thread need to be created for that?

I second this completely!

Does a thread need to be created for that?

Yes, create a new thread in the Challenge Generic Forum.

I'm glad Diem is starting chemo soon. I mean obviously no one would look forward to chemo, but I figure the sooner she starts it, the sooner she can get it over and done with.

For those that either missed or couldn't acces Alicia's interview with Diem here you go it isn't perfect quality but nonetheless here you go... http://telly.com/1N81WSD

Diem's Cancer Returns

By Brad Witter

Diem Brown's brave battle isn't over yet. The MTV star, a two-time ovarian cancer survivor, was recently diagnosed with colon cancer. "She was filming The Challenge in Panama and collapsed on set," explains a source. With on-again love Chris "C.T." Tamburello by her side, Brown, 32, was flown to an NYC hospital, where doctors discovered tumors in her abdomen and performed emergency surgery. Originally diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 2005, the MedGift founder (medgift.com/diemsnextchallenge) was in remission for six years after treatment. (Though the disease returned in 2012, she went into remission again in February 2013.) For now, she's finding strength in the outpouring of well-wishes from loved ones. As Brown tells Us, "The support I've received has touched me in a way I'll never be able to describe."

So good to know you are so surrounded by love in so many many ways...your sisters, brother & dad, Alicia who is her own special brand of your sister, your girls far & near, & and Chris too who is your true north...the fact that this post set twitter and the internet all a buzz speaks volumes even if it were two people we had never heard of it would still be powerful because it is so overwhelmingly emotional, raw and full of love. http://instagram.com/p/tiZAgTtTBB/ Enjoy every day, week, month, year as they come... much love sweet girl!

I recently went to DIem's support page and they page will not load. Is anyone else having this issue?

I've been having the same problem.   I tried yesterday and today because I knew she was going back into surgery.   I hope she came thru Ok.
