OXYGEN MEDIA TURNS UP FOR SEASON THREE OF HIT SERIES

“SISTERHOOD OF HIP HOP” PREMIERING TUESDAY, JULY 12 AT 9PM ET/PT

Celebrity Appearances Include MC Lyte, Irv Gotti, Tank, Trina, Morris Chestnut and more

New York, NY – June 7, 2016 – Oxygen Media’s hit series “Sisterhood of Hip Hop” is back with a brand new beat for season three premiering Tuesday, July 12 at 9pm ET/PT. Executive produced by Grammy-Award winning artist T.I., the powerful docu-series returns with veterans Siya, Brianna Perry and Diamond, who welcome new femcees on the block, Audra the Rapper and Lee Mazin. In order to deal with the ups and downs that come with the rap game, the ladies receive guidance from hip hop legends MC Lyte, Irv Gotti, Tank, Trina, YoYo, Jazze Pha and more, providing support, advice, and when necessary, tough love. Watch the sneak peek below!

Although some things may have changed, the hustle to succeed remains the same for these five fierce female artists. In this season, after being featured on Tank’s new smash hit, #BDAY, Siya is eager to put out a new record of her own, but legal and relationship issues threaten to jeopardize her career. Meanwhile, Brianna is in the hot seat when her fans and “mom-ager,” Kiki, demand new music, which creates some serious pressure for the emcee. While Diamond is struggling with her label and her man, she decides to take control by launching a new fashion line, hoping it will generate the money needed for more freedom in her personal and professional life. Philadelphia native and local rap sensation, Lee Mazin, is driven to make it onto the national stage, but she has to decide if it’s worth leaving her family and her home. And struggling for more independence, Audra the Rapper is facing a constant battle between her music and a management team with whom she does not see eye-to-eye. As the emcees work to overcome these personal struggles and reach the top, the strength of the sisterhood is put to the ultimate test when MC Lyte offers the ladies an opportunity to compete against each other for a verse on her highly-anticipated new track.

Sorta. Unlike Love & Hip Hop they focus on music first and then drama so sometimes it can be boring.

Then you have Diamond who is the NeNe Leakes of the group and believes she's a veteran compared to the new girls.

They basically just got rid of two of the other girls from Season 1 & 2 so this season might be better.

So happy Trent Harmon won the final season!!!!!! Such a big surprise because La'Porsha was all everyone talked about and I won't deny that girl is AMAZING... but Trent pushed the envelope every single week and he killed it just as much as La'Porsha... he was so deserving of it. Great final seaosn!!! Truly is the end of an era :D

Trent couldn't sing all hype. but laporsha was robbed

Its true. LaPorsha only lost because of a comment she had made earlier that month.

I could only imagine if they tried Battle of The Network Reality Stars again & kept it on Bravo....not only do you have the crazies from RW/The Challenge/AYTO & maybe some RR'ers who want to get back on TV, now you gotta add in Flavor of Love/Rock of Love/I Love New York/Real Chance of Love (they never got to do the first one) PLUS Bad Girls Club, the Real Housewives shows, Mob Wives, Love & Hip Hop, etc.

It would be CHAOS & some good ******* television lmaoooo

Oh yeah..Can you imagine the ****** up trainwreck that would be? If they get the right people from every network it could be one of the single best pieces of RTV ever produced.

I think they definitely need to give it another try.....just make the format less confusing (since that was the biggest problem with the first one).

There should've been one every year since Katrina but lord knows the one from the 70s was tripe.

Tami Roman/Joseline/New York and Natalie Nunn all in one house is MUST SEE TV. ❤

I can only imagine the shit show that'd happen please!

Moniece & Masika >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Both of them know they ain't SHIT for doing that poor midget & her shark-mouthed husband like that lmaoooo I don't really watch the "Check Yourself" videos but this one has been posted everywhere & I'm too done lol

Whenever I miss tjhe full episodes I look at the Check Yourself vids because this show is down right explicitly fake. And that chick dating A1 is pretty attractive (to a certain extent) but everytime she opens her mouth she's squealing or screaming.

And that whole set up at the open mic night was bviously staged. Like who would pay money to attend the show only to have it ****** up by VH1? The show potrays us a oversexed men too.

Whatever happened to Danger from For The Love of Ray J? Also Poprah from I Want To Work For Diddy?

Masika's actually been tolerable so far.

Midget? I know you ain't coming for Brandi like that!

I hate Brandi's wide-mouth ***.

miley is probably the best addition to the voice in a long time
