I second Cosmicdiva. Paramount Plus, at least the first 11 seasons of Real World should be put up. Let fans binge like the old days when MTV ran marathons.
I loved those days of all night Real World marathons. I'd finish off LA in one night. I used to watch them all tho, even London. Ah to be a kid again.
London used to be my Nyquil.
And I want them to please put Miami up on Paramount Plus. Apparently it was on YouTube, but it got taken down, so I missed it. From the clips I've seen, Flora in particular looks like good tv.
Oh no Miami got taken down already? I'm glad I rewatched it before it did. Flora makes for amazing television. She's a natural at this reality tv stuff. That cast was just the best.
Yeah, I'm so mad. There is this great clip up of Cynthia telling Melissa that she knew the Unabomber and the music that plays makes me so nostalgic.
The women on that season remind me of regular women I've known. Cynthia and Melissa especially. Even that Sarah girl who seems like the tomboy skater chick type. You didn't see that on later shows, but I've seen girls like her in real life.

I swear Miami had the best soundtrack. They really outdid themselves with the music that season. I don't know if it's because it's my favorite season and I've watched it so many times but the music was so amazing. I remember that exact clip of Cyn saying she knew the Unabomber. lol. The girls were so real, especially Cynthia. I think it's the strongest group of women to ever be on The Real World. They all could carry any season by themselves. With Miami we got all four of them together with Dan! Who is probably the most entertaining gay to ever be on the show. I just am in love with the Miami cast 25 years later as I was in 96 when it first aired. Maybe I favor it because it was the first season I've ever watched. I don't know.
Rewatching L.A. right now and in the short time, around 5 episodes, that David was there he fought with Beth, Dom, huge blowout with Tami, several fights with Jon and right now I'm at the episode where the group was at a bowling alley and him and Irene got into it and when he called her "midget" I just about died from laughter. This season is going to be good. So does David get removed from Homecoming? If he does he will be 3 for 3 getting kicked off of every show he's done (Real World: LA, Battle of the Sexes and Homecoming).

You died laughing at that part? lol. Yes, I don't think she wanted to come back to the house she was so mad. David did say in an interview it wasn't just the blanket incident that got him kicked off. He said he was starting fights with everyone. That was more the last straw.
David also said he ran into Tami and she told him to come and take a picture with her for twitter so she can show everyone he's doing okay. Because she told him people on Twitter had been attacking her, saying she ruined his career.

Yea, I guess I found it hilarious because well after all he is a comedian. Hey if people can find Johnny Bananas' lame jokes funny I can laugh at an actual comedians' insults. And yes David was fighting a lot. In one episode I believe he fought with everyone except Aaron. L.A. was the most explosive season. It started off with Jon, Dom and Tami being the original Road Rulers driving form Kentucky to LA to start the season and Tami and Jon fighting. Jon was an *** to Tami calling her trash. And they all hated each other before they even met the other 4 roommates. Then they were all constantly fighting and making personal attacks against each other by episode 5. This cast knew how to deliver drama and I am sure Homecoming will be no different.

He quit Battle of the Sexes, he wasn't kicked off.

True. He did leave on his own so I guess I should say he will leave prematurely on all seasons he's done. I hope he doesn't leave Homecoming, maybe not since word is "things almost got physical". I want David to stay the entire show, he livens things up. No one stirs the pot more than he does, Johnny Bananas wishes he was a fraction as effective as David at stirring the pot. Can't wait for this season time to see some reality tv legends back at work here.

Correct I'm on the episode now where David is asked to leave by the women and there were several incidents in the house that had built up before the Blanket Incident explosion. Apparently David had choked Jon on the 3rd day in the house which wasn't shown but everyone is talking about it in their confessional or random conversations. This is something that I either didn't catch back in the day or just don't remember, I haven't watched this season in quite some time now.
If the season is promoted as hard as the first one I wonder if this will bring better ratings even though we don't know the ratings of the first one. I read a couple comments on articles stating that they're more excited for this season because the season 1 cast has reunited so many times and that this season was better and underrated. Even Wendy Williams referenced this season a couple years ago on her show when talking about Tami getting her jaw wired shut. I WISH they could get Wendy to interview Tami about this. We need a big time promo not a local morning news show....

Tami getting her jaw wired shut for diet reasons is just another reason why she's one of the best people to do reality tv. That was whacky as hell.
The hardest I laughed all season was after Glen made the whole house mad by bringing his loud, awful band there, she yelled at him through her wired teeth "Glen! You brought your whole damn band from your neighborhood in Philly!" lmao. It was so funny. Even the roommates went from angry to cracking up.

David doesn't liven things up in a good way though. He's toxic. Just because he's a comedian doesn't mean he's not an ***. If he leaves early that's great. We get some of his craziness without it overwhelming the show.

Tami getting her he wired shut was definitely whacky. Then having an abortion and camera? This season was so crazy on so many levels. L.A. was so much better than NY. I hope they promote it well and it gets the ratings it deserves. There's so many layers to this season. Even the Dom/Aaron friendship montage while Seal plays was awesome. This is just a classic season.

The difference is the New York cast had more fun, likable people and even the ones who had it out could hash it out. This cast had a lot of disdain for each other. lol. There was so much division. Unlike New York, you got the sense most of them were NOT talking to each other after.
And yeah, to bring an abortion storyline into that season, such a polarizing thing. I like how you got different perspectives from the men. Aaron, though the Republican, his view would be moderate today, said even though he wouldn't agree with it for himself, he wouldn't take away that right from others. Dom told Tami right away that he supports her and said it should be a woman's choice what she does with her body. And then Jon, as expected, is totally against it from a religious point of view.
Dom and Aaron were the Real World's first bromance. lol. Mad Aaron isn't on. At least Dom makes a brief appearance.

I think Pink said that Dom didn't make an appearance.

I tend to like the more colorful abrasive castmembers so L.A. was more up my alley. Honestly New York was boring but they get my respect because they were the originals. Like I can't see myself getting into a NY rewatch today but I am deep into L.A. I like juicy drama filled seasons and if the casts don't talk to each other after then even better. Makes the reunions more interesting.
Rewatching I am realizing how much I actually like Aaron. He's conservative but not gross about it. Also found it interesting that Tami thought he was cute. she doesn't seem like someone who would like a white guy. Interesting that Dom describes Aaron "as the white guy who wants to be black" I never noticed that about Aaron. I too wish they were back, but sadly both have moved on from this show long ago.
I liked Aaron too. I agree with you. He offered a political view without being extreme or obnoxious about it. He was busy with school (and that's probably why he was the only one who liked David. He probably saw him least. lol.) He could be mean to and look down on Jon a lot though. The people Jon traveled with in the beginning who he judged for being so different from him, Tami and Dom, ended up being nicer to him than Aaron. lol.
L.A. had such strong personalities and really fiery. I am on the episode where the roommates were interviewing 3 potential replacements and Glen won out. That guy Kevin was a nut. Had he moved in I could have seen him clashing with a lot of these people. Glen wound up arguing quite a bit himself and we know about his blowup on Homecoming with David. You had Queen Tami who has made a career out of fighting on reality tv almost 30 years later, Beth who went onto be a notorious Challenger and drama starter and David who has been involved in crazy blowup situations on these shows but man even the replacements on this season were confrontational people.
i don't get it either - hopefully soon they'll add them
I doubt it. They refuse to answer questions about it.
Yeah, I'm so mad. There is this great clip up of Cynthia telling Melissa that she knew the Unabomber and the music that plays makes me so nostalgic.

How many more homecomings do you guys think we'll get after the 3rd season?
I am sad that none of my favorite seasons seems likely to have a reunion.
What seasons are your favorites? London & Paris?
San Diego 2 since they Stan Ashley K lol

same <3
Is Dominic technically the first British reality tv ‘star’ ever? lol I mean, since TRW is regarded as the first reality tv show and this was 1993
Sounds like 3 then 4.
But they are planning an all stars or something similar then again that's until next year a lot can change
