To each his own. I can even admit when I did a Hawaii rewatch that without Ruthie's drama (which production exploited for ratings) the season would have been dare I say bad? It's so funny tho because watching it live as a preteen I thought it was the most exciting show I had ever seen. I wanted to be partying like Teck and Ruthie so bad. Now I've lived and got to do all that and strip that excitement away and yea the season was kind of slow. Same for Miami rewatch, I always thought the fight episodes were better and ignored the stuff surrounding the business but now that I'm older I'm paying more attention to the business part of the season and relating to that more and dare I say Miami is even better through an adult lense? Miami just stands the test of time.

I was watching Miami yesterday and seeing Cynthia clearly not knowing what she was doing when trying to solicit business proposals over the phone then making the mistake of saying "sexual" during her pitch and just hanging up the phone was so hilarious. Then when the city called them and told them they couldn't post the flyers on Miami property. You could see the majority of the cast was in over their heads with the business venture and Melissa just didn't care. Now realizing how frustrated Joe must've been with all of them. It just adds another layer to an already great season.
Speaking of Melissa was Dan taking nude pictures I always forget why he blew up over the envelop being opened. The computer I understand but the envelope gate just seemed out of place

From what was shown there was nothing about nudity involved with the pics. I remember him telling her that it could've cost him his job and she said that in the envelope there were just slides. He was upset because she had left the envelope with the slides on the floor where anyone could have stepped on them. According to Dan they were "valuable $100 slides" that Melissa just treated like trash. This had built up because she opened his email on the house computer and read it to everyone laughing mocking Dan. Mike also instigated and told Dan to make Melissa cry while he confronted her.
RW Washington DC could have been represented with funny man Andrew who I liked his friendship with Ty even though he did nearly kill him by throwíng him out the side of the entrance staircase.

Josh and Michael never really stuck with me. Well well, I click on the Wiki and find out I totally forgot about Callie the ghost.
I wish MTV would realize what CBS did with their Survivor and TAR seasons and just start to release the MTV reality shows whether on DVD, Blu Ray, or both. Anything that is anything from shows is sitting on a goldmine especially when it's old and the adults are in nostalgia fever.

i think it's the only Real World season I can keep rewatching. Most others don't stand the test of time. Miami does and it's like I notice something new every single time I watch. Like I see so many comments from people saying that Mike was useless but he was one of the biggest shit stirrers in the house. He basically caused the Dan/Melissa fight and he also threw Dan under the bus to Flora when he said that Dan was going around telling people that Mitchell would beat Flora.
