I think you guys overthink the casting process tbh

the audience is in favor of minorities that buck the trend of negative stereotypes associated with them. in the case of arielle and leroy and why they are fan favorites, both are "non threatening black people" which is what production love to cast them. they are the "cute and cuddly, furry black side kicks" and people eat that ish up while someone like simone is considered a *yawn*....."ANOTHER everyday ghetto black girl" by the people

Nehemiah would also fit. They're the type that the racist grandma is alright with because they're "the good ones."

Ceejai's problem isn't that she's "ghetto". It's that she picks fights with idiots and lets herself get frustrated when she shouldn't even bother. At this point everyone knows Jenna is trash. Ceejai doesn't need to waste her energy. That said, I do like that she stood up for Dean. Best ep of the season imo. It wasn't contrived. It felt old school rw to me.

You can't tell me what I overthink when I've been to one and seen it with my own eyes.

CeeJai is far more calm than the******* we be seeing on BGC and LHH so for the people calling CeeJai "ghetto" need to actually get cable and watch other shows with ethnic people.

I think CeeJai and Nia are the closest to real girls were gonna see on this show along with Coral and LaToya.

This seems legit tbh.

Nia's strange, I put her in a category of her own. But Cee Jai is Coral-esque to me. Her convo with Dean in the living room was so real & emotional. Something you don't ever see on other reality tv shows. I can't see Nia being that deep. Toya could possibly pull it off. I know Coral could.

I agree Nia isn't as authentic as we depict her to be but she definitely tell it like it is.

And CeeJai is very  Coral esque to me and that's why I think they cast her cause they wanted a funny black girl definitely not a confrontational one.

Ceejai lacks Coral's natural wit, and tries way too hard to be 'one of the guys' imo. As bad as this sounds, they probably casted her to exploit her experiences as an African American in 2016. She has the background and the education to draw a different crowd into the RW. The only problem is, everyone else in the house keeps getting in the middle of the Jenna situation. People like Chris and Kailah stay inserting themselves b/c they read too many tumblr articles, and by doing so, turn a very serious problem into something petty and annoying.

Lol OKAY

I love CeeJai and think she's one of the best casting choices in a long time. Her story gets to me and you can tell she's really genuine and wants to grow thru the experience.

Only thing I dislike is she ***** with Dione too much. He's the most annoying ****** ever. If I was ever placed in the house with someone like that who gives themselves nicknames and acts like he does..........

This (aside from Nia of course).

I think she's more of a tomboy also, which is why she gets along better with the guys. I would think somebody like Dione would annoy the shit out of her but judging from her SC and the show, she's the closest to him & Dean. She hangs with Dione for like weeks at a time whenever they get together lol

Honestly though, Dione gets in these hotels & gets to travel all over the place....I might need to become a carny myself because that is living lmaoo. I don't know about the whoe being broke thing but I love traveling.

I had like 8 people on my Facebook share this scene today

Lmao I I ran into to go find that. A bunch of black comments loving the scene and didn't know real world still airs asking for the season name and episode title. Some think they're a couple. I hope this gets some new viewers especially with the preview after that. Lol whathisname's dream of black twitter getting involved might've come true if they gave info on the season in that video.

I saw a lot of comments saying dean should have asked her to marry him lol.

Just seen it on my timeline today and it's now at 1.6 million views. Production better take notes for Season 32! Smile

MTV is neglecting an ENTIRE demographic that could put the whole network back on the map smh

Their loss. VH1 will continue to kick their *** year after year.

Where's a link to that clip, YT hasn't released it ad no one's posted it to my timeline

Thye really are. You'd think they'd jump on that given they seem to want to mold this franchise into whatever is popular in Reality TV nowadays. Especially with this franchise.

Like I'm kinda surprised they haven't tried to get into the Real Housewives-esqu show market.

I really like Ceejai but I just wished she didn't entertain the BS on social media. I always that she was above that. Plus, if she got rid of Dione, I would probably like her a lot more. Can't stand that guy.

But on the show so far, she hasn't given me any reason to dislike her. I thought that scene with Dean was very powerful.

I'm just thinking..If Cee Jai or the cast never defended their feelings on Jenna's comments then Cee Jai would probably be fan favorite. Similar to how on BB15 viewers grew to feel sympathy for Candice because Howard told her not to fight back while the rest of the house just trashed her beyond belief. if it wasn't for Howard.. she would have rocked the shit out of one of those girls the night they flipped her mattress. As time went on Candice did eventually get into arguments after defending herself and her popularity went down and by the end of the season Howard (who completely avoided the drama and never confronted the racist bullies) made the Top 3 fan favorite despite not making the jury & getting way less air time than Candice who made the jury.

RIGHT it's a MESS they act like it's world war 3 whenever a african american or even latino go off. Like they just want you to sit there and take it. smh

If Latinos pop off they're "fiery". If Blacks do they're "ghetto" or "ratchet"

I can't stand CeeJai

Says the person who like JEK of all people...

Just came by to say that CeeJai is the best.

Thank you for pointing that out.

I totally agree.  CeeJai's talking with Dean was spot on real and really heart felt. It wasn't necessarily her saying it was all about race, but she was quite correct that Jenna would have NEVER said that to Chris or any other male in the house but Dean. Dean in no way physically or verbally came at her at 10th of what others have. Jenna made it about race, and CeeJai was trying to comfort him and put his head right. He was blaming himself and second guessing himself and feeling cornered. She pulled his head right. She tried with Jenna, but Jenna keeps running her dumb mouth and not thinking. Her talking about guns and murder with guns while knowing what happened to CeeJai was incredibly insensitive, cruel, and thoughtless! I was shocked that CeeJai didn't drop her *** right then and there. That showed more maturity then anyone else would've shown.
