Two completely different shows and for the network that it is now AYTO brings decent ratings so I don't see that happening. Last time Road Rules was on it flopped so I doubt we'll see it again.
Well they can keep AYTO as long as they bring RR back. MTV as a whole is flopping; instead of the scripted trash they keep greenlighting that no one watches, they'll do just fine with a current-day Road Rules.
The age demographic that MTV is targeting and their more important one that still bring the "most" number...doesnt even know whats road rules and they dont even know about that show existence.I feel like this season is the closest to Road rules you guys that care about that show will get.Why bring something back that flopped years ago to flop again? I can see them trying to do that for the hills and even jersey show that got good ratings on their last seasons.
Hence why I said "current-day Road Rules". Why would the age demographic even matter & why is it imperative that they NEED to know the show used to exist? Just like most don't know there was a Battle of The Seasons a full decade before the one in 2012. The reason VR flopped was their fault in the first place; it was as big of a mess as Bloodlines format-wise.Hell if they want to bring back ALL of their older shows, it would serve them much better than they're showing now.
Road rules was flopping before VR, hence why they decide to change the format when they brought it back 3 years after extreme to revive the show. Which didnt work then and most likely wouldnt work now.Why tried to make it happen again , so it could flopped for a 3rd time?
I'm fully aware....I watched South Pacific to VR. The way VR was set up from the beginning was solid; they kept changing the rules for no reason & no one (casual or hardcore) could follow it or wanted to bother after all the nonsense. That was BMP's fault and not the viewers. And I know the ratings were still leagues above the garbage now.
Faking It got 248,000? There is not a chance in hell RR would be getting THAT low of a number, especially knowing that the show is tied to RW/The Challenge. But it's moot at this point, MTV will flop regardless.

I think MTV is smart enough to know that it would be pointless to revive a show that flopped twice already during a period of time that MTV was still even relevant, now would even be worse.
The only shows I see them revive now would be shows that left putting good numbers. I can see them trying to bring the Hills/Jersey show/etc back over Road Rules.

Thank god that's not happening either because not only would it be pointless as hell for either show to return but they would have to bring in entirely new castmembers to both shows(or to Jersey Shore at least) in which case it will flop because people would want to see the OG's of each show.
But yeah..I love Road Rules and it was a good show but I don't see it ever returning.
But back to Real World...Excited for this season. Can't wait to see some of the missions they do.
The freaking show hasn't been promoted as much from watching MTV this week. I'm guessing they think they can promote from social media and have their stars promote for them instead of spending money on a promo.
they've been advertising like crazy on MTV Canada..
lmao I thought this came on today but I took a nap and thought I missed it. Anyway IDC Real World forever has me excited ans glad we'll be garanteed two more seasons!
Vmas is the biggest thing on mtv. Idk why they don't bring rw and the challenge people to the event to introduce an award and promote their show. Didn't they do that back in the day? Mtv has the platform to make their reality stars C listers like Jersey Shore cast but they don't..
Introduce the award? they arent even that important.

How do you know it wouldn't work? Didn't you just come to this country? How do you know it will flop a "3rd time" have you even seen the earlier ones at all?

It doesn't matter when Pink came into the country only a fool would be willing to put a failing show on the air for a third time.

Totally forgot this was even premiering tonight lol.Airing it on ST Pattys day isn't the best move. Also it's March Madness. lol I'll definitely be watching the UK game over this tonight. HaHopefully this season makes me eat my words....because I don't have much hope for this season.
AND I just realized the How To Get Away With Murder finale is airing at the same time haha smdh

UK won't be getting out of the second round this year lol. Enjoy tonight's game why you can.
Okay I'll eat my words, I was watching the Woodies last night and saw about 3 commercials for it and the promos were pretty satisfying but I hate that they promote so late to the premiere.

Sorry not sorry but Sabrina in the cast photo looks like a racoon.

I've seen like 5 commercials for this during catfish.
they've been advertising like crazy on MTV Canada..
I wonder if they plan to rent out the suite like The Hard Rock and Palms.
RW needs to go back to actual houses... not these warehouse/loft/hotel things
lmao I thought this came on today but I took a nap and thought I missed it. Anyway IDC Real World forever has me excited ans glad we'll be garanteed two more seasons!
I like that outside padio. Decent place overall.
I agree.

no thank you. I like the loft things. Austin's was ***** though.
They have been promoting it more. I literally saw 5, yes i counted, 5 commercials for real world during last night's catfish.
