Quantico - ABC

Alright we are 5 episodes into this new series and it's safe to say it's gonna stick around. Calling all fans of Shondaland, THIS is the show of 2015/2016 you NEED to be watching right now!!! Quantico is told through a split story (similar to HTGAWM), with events of the past and present interwining a terrorist attack at Grand Central Station. Alex Parrish, an FBI agent, is framed for the attack and goes on the run to clear her name... her only lead: The real terrorist is someone from her graduating class at the FBI Training Academy in Quantico. Throughout the series run we are introduced to a host of recruits/potential suspects, all of them having their own secrets. As revelations come to surface, the show continues to get more and more twisted and complex. So far it's been one hell of a show, and my theories change constantly... it really throws you for a loop.

Of course, it is ABC and it is a drama... so expect a lot of cliche romance plots, a cast of models, and some lame (incredibly lame) dialogue (it's been described at Grey's meets Homeland)... but once you can get past all that, you really are in for a treat! It's a great new show and Priyanka Chopra is both drop dead gorgeous and quite the presence on screen. I think she will do just fine in hollywood!

From the wiki: "The series follows a group of young FBI recruits; each has a specific reason for joining. Flashbacks detail their previous lives, while the recruits battle their way through training at the academy in Quantico, Virginia. However, the series will reveal in a flash forward twist that one of the recruits, upon graduating from the academy, will be suspected of masterminding the biggest terror attack on New York City since the September 11 attacks in 2001."

edit: fixed

YAS thank you for the board! Can't wait for tonight!

For those of you who haven't seen it, you can watch every episode On Demand I believe. It's only 5 episodes in so its not too bad to binge watch it if you can!

I've been waiting for this thread. Absolutely love this show so far. It's up there with How to Get Away With Murder for me. I really enjoy it.

Soooo who's your suspects?!? Spoilers below:

My current suspects are: Alex's mom (Sita) & Agent Booth (Ryan)

Reason: The altercation between Sita and her husband which Alex somewhat overheard could have easily been misconstrued... We are lead to believe Alex's mom is innocent, knowing that her father was an agent and had aggresive tendencies, and the altercation was just an example of his drunken physical abuse towards her. But what was their fight really about? What if he had found out something about Sita? What if he found out she had only married him and had Alex to create the perfect American family and infiltrate the FBI through him and eventually Alex. I think she is the strongest suspect at the moment... I see you momma parrish.

I definitely don't think she is working alone though... she has to have an in with one of the students in the class or else the show will sort of be pointless.. someone from the Academy HAS to be involved. Right now the most innocent recruit is Booth... he's doing everything he can to help Alex escape the FBI during the terrorist attack.. but what if he is only doing this to postpone something else? What if Grand Central was only the beginning? And it would be the biggest shock/heartbreak to Alex.... Who knows! haha

This show keeps getting better and better. I don't know how the show will work out in the future sine according to the producers we'll find out who the attacker is during this season, but so far this show has been the best new fall show.

So ready for tonight.

I'm liking the idea of it being Alex's mom and the reasons behind it. My original thought was that it was Agent Liam O'Connor. It's so hard for me to pinpoint someone and pick up the clues because my views are always changing. One second I think it's Asher, one second I trust him. I feel like it could be Mirdan aswell. But why would she be helping Alex? Is it a cover up or is she truly loyal? What is going on with the twin twist? Idk. So much going on and I love it.

I wanna get into it, but I'm busy with other shows at the moment. Definitely on my list with HTGAWM too.

I'm not big on a lot of TV dramas but HTGAWM is a must watch that I highly recommend to everyone. This is too so far.

I like this show a lot. I was skeptical but I gave it a go and I'm really glad I did.

I'm thinking the mom and/or the guy teacher (can't think of his name right now). They definitely have a past together and seem fishy IMO. Good show. Wouldn't call it great, but definitely entertaining and worth an hour each week.

last nights episode was so good!!!! I guess the secret is out about nimah lmao

They just keep adding more and more layers to this show! so complex!! now Shelby is hooking up with Caleb's dad, who's running the op to find Alex, who's working with Shelby lol

Is this show good enough for me to start watching. How many episodes have already aired?

6 episodes so far and hellls yes!!! it's even more fun to binge watch

Yes! I want to rewatch every episode and when a new episode ends I want to watch 30 more haha

Its alright show but the one with Sisto is a little more intriguing. Shonda is a pretentious *****. "Like if you don't follow me you're shit". Like ***** what? And then she got rid of several good people like Isaiah, TRK, Dempsey, etc.

your *** needs to get in on How to...its just good. but like others say season one is better.

Sisto?

And when has Shonda ever been like that? She writes/produces some quality dramas that ppl love... shes not forcing anyone to watch... ppl just watch them becasue they are entertaining. Blum 3

Isaiah needed to go (plus he was a bore on the show), TRK is sorely missed but he wanted out of on screen acting, and Dempsey was just a loss nobody needed... but hey, it made for one of grey's best episodes in years (probs since Season 5 or 6 lol)

My bad I thought it was Jeremy SIsto. I'm referring to Wicked City. Its pretty good but could be better.

And yeah they hyped him up since season 1 in 2004 only to kill him so dumb later one. ********.

Wicked City had a pretty weak premiere, but i love 80s music so I'll stick with it for a couple more episodes

I like they are finding their way back to one another and it seems like helping each other. It makes me excited to see how things will end.

I have more of a theory on my two suspects!!!

Sita Parrish (Alex's mom) has been working undercover to stop a terrorist. She failed her mission and the bomb went off in Grand Central. With the real terrorist still out there, Sita needed to make sure that the FBI was not looking for them so that the real one wouldn't have to hide (thus making them more vulnerable). She gave a tip that the terrorist was someone from her daughter's class to throw off suspicion... She knew Alex would be targeted, so she got in contact with Booth to make sure he would protect her and help her escape their clutches, long enough so that Sita would have enough time to catch the terrorist.

So maybe Sita and Booth aren't terrorists, but I think they could be working together undercover to catch who really is responsible for the bombing.

Or i'm just chattin bullshit and probably wayyyyyy off (leaning toward the latter right now haha)

Framing her as the terrorist just to protect her lol?

the more and more I wrote, the more I confused myself hahaha... i dunno. I'm sure it will work out somehow.

I think it can be interesting if it is her mom, but they would just have to do it right. There's definitely something up with the fight the mom and the dad had that Alex doesn't know about yet. Especially with her dad being an agent and a hero. I feel like she probably killed him for nothing over someone who was actually dangerous.

At the same time I wouldn't want the real terrorist to be another one of the colored characters

Is anybody else bothered about how many of Alex's colleagues are working her case? I love this show, that is a major plot hole; they should be top accomplice suspects if indeed they believe Alex did it.

I say this every episode, unfailingly.

ohhhhhh shit tonights episode was so good!!! what an ending!!! Biggrin

opinions on the mid season finale?? TwoStrikes and I were talking about it and I thought it was pretty good!!! The show has become a little bit of a rehash of itself already (another bomb lol), but i can't stop watching it haha... so many twists and turns! I wonder if the blonde gay guy was originally the bomber before they rewrote it when they got a full season order (cause that episode was originally the season finale)... the show just keeps my head spinning. I still think Booth and Alex's mom are the bombers tho  I've seen a lot of theories about Miranda being the bomber... I could see that as well! She is a pretty mysterious character. Also so disappointed Alex and O'Conner hooked up (or "possibly" hooked up i should say lol)

I had to do some catching up because I fell a little behind in it, and I wish the finale was a little more crazy (even though a bomb did go off lol), but i'm still quite enjoying this show and I look forward to where they will take it... I just have no idea how long they can stretch out this story. I hope the terrorist story ends after one season and something new happens in season 2 (if it gets renewed)

Yesss today is the day!!! I was a little disappointed by the midseason finale because they promised they would tell us who was behind everything and they really didn't, but I still am looking forward to this.

OMGGGGG I can't wait for tonighttttt... this break has been wayyyy too long! And they did reveal one person behind it... just not really the bigger picture. He was being used... and then he had to go and kill himself so we're back to square one.
