Ugh I really don't want to pay for another streaming platform but this is my favorite love show outside of Are You the One? I don't watch anything else related to dating. Idk why love island draws me in. I guess the format and the cast is SO HOT!!!! And the excess amount of episodes makes me feel more connected to the cast like how big brother players tend to get a big social media following because they air on TV way more than other CBS shows. It makes you feel like you know them. I'll probably start watching this weekend. I need something else to watch anyways since I'm already done with BB.
Cashay kinda ruined it for me. I don't think there will ever be a cast member that tops her imo. I just loved her journey from beginning to end and she was so inspiring to watch. She (and Olivia) literally inspired me to not give up on love and fight for what I want! And I GOT IT*******!!! If I didn't watch this show I would've never tried

Peacock is free through my cable provider but for whatever reason, I cant access that account on other devices so I made another free account and watched the first episode there yesterday. Idk if theres any extras missing though vs the premium accounts.

I didn't even watch that video above. I had just seen him briefly during the opening of the show. And then he talked. Ruined it for me. So good looking but the way he talks and the stuff that comes out of his mouth? No thanks. Same thing with Javonny from last year.
I watched every episode this week and this season is really good. Love Timmy & Zeta as a couple. They're my early picks to win this whole thing. Courtney is definitely taking Felipe away from Sereniti and of course Jesse is in the middle of a love triangle with Valerie & Deb. With all that being said, so far I'd say the stars are Timmy, Zeta, Deb, Jesse, Valerie, Felipe, and Courtney. Sereniti has decent commentary, but if something doesn't give she's definitely getting dumped Sunday. Sydney & Isaiah are irrelevant, as well as Andy & Mady, but there's hella episodes to come.
On a typical week there are 5 girls and 6 guys in the villa (or 5 guys and 6 girls). At the end of the week they have the "Re-Coupling Ceremony", each of the 5 girls will choose which of the 6 guy they want to be in a couple with, because there are uneven numbers, the guy that isn't chosen will be eliminated. Soon after, a new girl will enter the villa, and it becomes the guys' turn to choose the girls. This cycle is repeated week after week.
Every week there's usually some minor twists on the format, just to spice things up, but that's the general idea of the show. The contestants mostly just hang around all week and get to know each other. Every few days there will be light challenge, the reward is usally to go on a date with a person of your choosing, or something along those lines.
