Love at First Lie: Who’s A Couple And Who’s A Con- MTV
Think you can spot a liar? Play along as couples go head-to-head to uncover who among them are in a genuine relationship and who’s faking their love to con others out of the cash prize.
This seems fun. I hope the couples are real and the mole couple were hired individuals. Otherwise they can easily be a real couple and pretend to be fake rendering the whole experiment pointless.
What an unattractive cast. And Tori Spelling? I'm good. The show has 14 followers on twitter 9 hours after the trailer premiere. 2 of them being the best and Catfish MTV account.
Per usual, MTV/Paramount fumble the bag on advertising & promoting their new series smh ... I'm gonna give it a chance cause it's the first original concept the network has had in forever, but it looks trash from the few previews released. Hoping I'm wrong but I'm not hopeful haha

it looks like a SNL sketch. Just awful. Where's the drama?

And the whole thing they're touting about viewers being able to play along from home. Like how????? This been filmed already, so how tf do we watching it have any control of the game lol
Idk, but we'll find out a week from today! I can't wait to see the abysmal ratings lmao

I bet they think airing it after the challenge will help lol maybe for the first episode but after that? Ratings are going to tank

they mean we can play along by guessing who's real and who's a fake couple, not that we have any control. kinda like the mole
I watched the first 2 episodes after The Challenge. IDK if I'll be tuning in again, but I didn't hate it. There was a decent fight at the end of the first episode, and it looks like there will be some more fighting later in the season, based on the trailer they showed.
Overall I'd give it a C
It seems like MTV is moving out of there "zero drama" phase they were in for a little while, so that has me excited.

I haven't watched yet but I'm sure I'll probably like it enough to stick around the whole time. Happy to hear is wasn't that bad & looks like drama is bound to happen.
Ratings are so freakin bad though ... less than 100k ... only 88,000 tuned in. I think that's an actual record low for MTV. If that continues I wouldn't be shocked if they moved it to MTV2 or scrap it all together.
The Challenge was #10 & this dropped to #119 ... you'd think it would've done a bit better having literally come on right after. Smh
I wonder how many episodes before they stop promoting it or just can it all together
They made it 5 in a row on a Wednesday @ 9:30 PM, this week I noticed it didn't air at all after The Challenge & saw that it's moving to Tuesdays @ 9 after Teen Mom ... as if that's going to save it haha
Absolutely not haha but I must say I'm riding it til the end, it's mindless TV and actually kinda entertaining -- I've had quite a few laughs and jaw drops at some of the eliminations ... but 0% chance of a Season 2 renewal

but when does this air
Excited
Only show of the 3 new ones that sounds dumb
"hey did you see Love at First Lie: Who’s A Couple And Who’s A Con last night?"
They are about at least 5 years too late with all these shows on a dying network but better late than never i guess
out of all the streaming networks I give paramount the best chance to succeed tbh
Netflix and Disney have seen their best days already
lol
So is MTV & Paramount finally simultaneously airing series cause this could've helped MTV a tons in the last year
Netflix, Disney and HBO have success outside the US, Paramount doesn't even exist in Europe so you're wrong
So I'm thinking this is the American version of MTV UK's True Love or True Lies
Exactly plus Netflix just plain sucks
Boring

Looks awful. Im pretty sure none of these people will debut on the challenge so there is absolutely no purpose for me to tune in.
What a shitty measure though.
This is definitely flopping lol
Why? If you like The Challenge it makes sense
