As much as I liked these and it surprised me giving the sceptism and critic i had beforehand, but this shore thing is more a curse than a blessing. For this, this "shore" idea wasn't necessary at all, it really was like a much better version of The Real World.I hope ratings keep being this great!

only issue is if it was "The Real World: Florabama" it wouldnt have pulled in the same ratings. Jersey Shore and this "being the new JS" totally helped, along with people watching for the JS anouncement during the episode. JS was such a big hit, so just by saying this was the next Jersey Shore brought in views, as opposed to another Real World

This is delusional. Real World on the title would not have pulled in these numbers, this is not a BMP product so it would not have even worked and the edit would have been shit. I had no idea they were going to have a Jersey Shore announcement so I’m sure the casual fan did not either. The numbers maintained after the weak announcement as well. Plus they want the cast to return each season so once again Real World: Floribama would not have worked. Real World is dead for the time-being, BMP killed it so lets move on and focus on the future.
I am not even trying to get Real World on this, but the show itself looks more like a real world (good one though) than Jersey Shore while promoting itself as a new Jersey Shore. I am not hooked for the adventures on that Shore yet, i am more interested in those peoples real world life lol

i hope these ratings teach MTV to stop casting these boring IG famous, aspiring models and starts casting normal looking people who have actual personalities. i didn't love this, but it did remind me of older real world a lot

Those great ratings for MTV and they mantained after the announcement/teen mom which is good.
Lets see how it goes ok the next weeks.
MTV actually did something right and I’m HERE FOR IT.
Next week has a new teen mom episode before and after this show so I bet it'll maintain strong.
It should be worth mentioning that Jersey shore started with 1 million viewers and ended season one with 4+million.
Obviously not that much of an increase here but the original did drastically go up.
If the ratings stay like that maybe we'll get a season two but regardless MTV should be proud
I actually really liked Jeremiah lol but Kortni totally stole the show.
I didn't like Jeremiah. *****ing at Queen Amieee about her bed then freaking out over the girls calling out Kayla Jo.

Just watched it, thought it was good but not that amazing. Nilsa is cringe all of the "hastag___" is cringe, but ill keep watching for now
