The Challenge: What The Cast Is Saying On Social Media

If Anika is the tragic cast member the spoiler team mentioned - I riot.

I would love to see Mike C on the challenge. I know many people hate him but he's strong, always is in conflict & I could see him doing well like Wes on Fresh Meat/The Duel

Well I understand why they want to push people to be faces of the show. You need recurring characters whose first priority in life is The Challenge that casuals want to see and root for. Like it or not (I know the majority of Vevmo users including myself are tired of them), certain people like Bananas, CT(now that he's calmed down), and Cara Maria are good faces of the show for casuals. I just don't understand why they would choose Camila, the girl with a history of losing it completely, thinking that would be a good idea.

No you don't. They forced this show into that shit and it's paid for it ever since.

Yeah you do. If there were no recurring cast members, then people would lose interest easily. Bananas, CT, CM, etc have huge fanbases now that want them to be on. Doesn't mean it's what serious fans on Vevmo want, don't get me wrong.

The ironic & sad part about it all is that the ***** had not one bit of business ever being on this show in the first place.

That moment when Debut Album was right all along lmao

Just out of curiosity does anyone remember who posted Nicole's old comment on twitter?

Probably a Camila stan.

that's what I was thinking. I saw it but forgot who posted and now I can't find it

Nicole is apparently really bad as of now. She said like TrueTea stated, she needs a break in her life after her life has turned for the worse or something along the lines.

I send all my love and support for her ❤️❤️❤️

This is why these pyscho fan accounts should not be supported by cast members. Everybody on the show likes nicole for the most part and now she will probably not come back.  They need to stop supporting and encouraging them

True Tea, Nicole replied to these Twitter accounts, so I think one of them originally posted her FB post: @renatarnlima @johnforpres90

Nicole replied: "Lol stalk my fb page for a post made 5 years ago read the comments it was a good convo and open discussion and it's well known my latins..."

Umm...they have had reoccuring cast members since the beginning. What are you talking about? I agree Camila should have never been cast however the issue is that after she proved to be a racist scum they continued to have her back. Cara/Camila became the face of the franchise for the women but lacked the charisma needed. I get the tired of Johnny/CT thing but they actually have charisma to keep people interested. CaraMaria was popular when she was the underdog, everyone loves the underdog. Like Paul on BB this summer, not that she is a power player and a fanbase it's gone to her head and her true colors are being exposed. She is vile and sad. She is clearly unstable and needs help but they will continue to expose that till she becomes a liability like Tonya and Camila and their insurance can't afford her anymore.

To you, what makes Cara vile?

Lol. Saw this on Mediatakeout of all places. Happy they are blasting MTV too.

See MTV covering up will only get y'all exposed. The fact that they let her stay and invited her back makes it even worse.

When it was 6 vs 6, they didn't. That was what 3 seasons? Then Veronica goes on to do the next 6 in a row. Coral, Mike, Rachel, Tina, Tonya, Katie, Derrick, Brad all reoccurred. When they quit reoccurring that was their decision not productions. Then after they moved on Paula, Wes, Johnny, Kenny, Evan became the regulars. After that it was Cara Maria, Camila, Nany, and others not worth mentioning. Now we have Cory, Jenna, Dario, and even more not worth mentioning. So besides those first three challenges please explain to me when we didn't have reoccuring castmembers?

4. That's what I was talking about. That was the beginning. All that other shit you typed was unescessary. I've been watching this show for the longest time. I know the history and I know who were the regulars were in each period. I didn't need that.

Those first 3 seasons sucked

saw on jemm tweet feed that jordan said once during portland years ago black monkey....i didn't knew that. is it true?

I watched that season a couple times and he never said that. he's really good friends with both Marlon and Nia off the show... and he genuinely was attracted to Nia. yes, he's made ******* comments but he never attacked anyone's race.

there's so much weird shit on twitter now... fans are making up random crap about people and posting old stuff so they can attack each other and let others believe it's true. smh

Wasn't Camila added and took some other castmember's spot?

Ashley L. from the D.C. season. She was READY to come on the show & switch some things up too smmfh she didn't care much for JEK & their mob doing whatever they were told + she had beef with Jasmine. So instead of making that obvious casting decision, they cast the STD-ridden trash ***** who's first line of order was to **** John & steal everybody's stuff (Ms. Success called that years ago as well >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> the trash STILL hasn't paid those idiots who signed up for her bullshit "Challenge").

i saw on the FB group that she has paid the winners, an admin on there reached out to the winners and they got paid after the truth got exposed. they blamed it on the fact that someone got fired right around that time and they were supposed to pay the winners before they left and never did.

He made monkey noises mocking Nia..he wasn't being racist. Even Averey/Johnny/Marlon/Ana all defended him on it and said Nia was making stuff up. Jordan's an *** sometimes but I was 100% on his side on that Portland episode.

Not sure what's going on with nicole but I'm sad for her. I have no idea what happened and I'm hoping it's not the is this racist thing but she said her life has taken a turn for the worst or something to that affect. Hope all is well

It's not that! Personal stuff outside of this show.

No.

Once again that was 6 vs 6 and was a different show. It was 3 seasons. Road Rules All-Stars wasn't a season. They went to a bigger cast after 3 seasons because they wanted those reoccuring cast members. So your point is not valid.

Those first 4 seasons were fun. I love Extreme Challenge

Can someone PM me where they saw Hunter and Chuck and Mikey P nudes?

Nah That is Bullshit. Those 4 seasons are challenge seasons. They are apart of this show's history. Those shows were the BEGINNING of The Challenge. That is a fact. The format is irrelevant. How many shows it was is irrelevant. You cannot sit here and say that they do not count. Period. My point is 100% Valid and yours is not. Accept it and Move on.

It's peak and rise of the show were during the seasons that had reoccuring cast members like Coral and Veronica to were the face of The Challenge. So the original arguement - from what I read about reoccuring cast members not needed - is invalid. I think having familiar faces for the mass audience to latch on to is crucial for most shows.

Where I believe they did go wrong was that the producers put all their eggs in very few baskets. On top of that, the baskets they invested in didn't have the charisma that their predessors had, so it just bad. Even worse, they exploited cast member's instability which leads them to situations like Tonya on the Ruins and Camilla being a crazy ****.

And it's only natural that the first couple of seasons don't have reoccuring cast members just given the nature of having such a large casting pool and feeling out what the direction of the show should be.

So DA, I think you're right about MTV putting themselves in the corner with having faces or stars for The Challenge, but wrong about the necessity of having stars and faces for The Challenge. But I think they're doing a better job with it now that they seem to be pushing Cory, Jenna, and Kailah, on top of having CT, John, and CM. The more prominent faces they have, they more they can work with for future challenges.
