Are you freaks gonna buy the long awaited The Challenege merch off paramount? I'm tempted. Honestly would prefer the skull shirt with Jonna's name on it over mine lol. 20% off with code LAUNCH20
you would think, with their 20 plus years partnership with UA, they'd have UA produce Challenge shirts. Even basic black and white ones to start. But these look like they're cheap and not worth the price tag.
this thread used to be the most used and now it's barely even needed anymore lol. social media drama is nearly dead
Honestly. Used to be poppin but now it's dead af. Vevmo is dying in general though.
most of these early 2000s style forum websites that are used for fandoms are either inactive or shut down. this site has outlasted hundreds of others of it's kind lol sad to see it on the decline as well. as long as spoilers are still a thing on here though it'll always be active
Is SurvivorSucks still active? They were ruthless there lol. I also loved Realitybbq.com message board for Big Brother.
it's still there but way past it's prime and only has a handful bitter germlins keeping it alive. i never even used it cause i don't like survivor but i heard crazy things lol

I haven't looked on there in like four years? Forgot about it until now, just assumed I'd always exist.
Actually made me realize how many forums are dead.
Idk what thread to put this under but the hate under the pride post the challenge posted on IG is crazy. Am I tripping because Ive sworn they did the same exact thing last year, but only focusing on nany and kaycee so I dont understand why those fans are freaking out

I don't see anything about pride on IG from last year
Maybe Im just confusing it with another post they had centered around Kaycee and Nany? My thumbs will hurt if I try to scroll IG that far back but theyve definitely posted for pride before, at least on fb amd twitter https://fb.watch/lcp0T4On_a/?mibextid=SDPelY

Not even a stretch. I remember he was arguing without saying it, that Big brother was casting too many black people because "they are only 15% of the country but have 30% of the cast" or something like that.

Sorry you don't like facts. I think they should cast ignoring everything and just cast the best people but you can't argue any group is under represented when they have more than what they make up in society. Again...reality is tough I know. There's a difference between wanting more people of any group and not comprehending simple things.
There's just no way in hell you think too many Black people on BB are being cast.
Especially when they historically struggle due to stereotyping and bias. People cling to those they are familiar with and race plays a large factor in that.
It's no surprise that these last two seasons have seen Black winners and Black F2s once we stopped getting two per season.
Big Brother's issue is entirely different. They cast black people to be joke contestants most of the time and make fun of them. No one will EVER convince me that Allison Grodner is not a raging racist cause it got even worse once her partner left. The only reason diversity increased was a CBS thing not a Grodner thing.

Is that the reason or are people afraid to vote against black players because inevitably they'll be called racist. Again Dani, who is black, was one of the best 5 to ever play the game and would have won if there was a jury. Had nothing to do with the lack of diversity. It was the quality of those casting decisions.
i mean they can't be too afraid when you had a kid literally make an alliance because there were too many black people in the house even tho those black people blatantly didn't like eachother.

Racist people are not afraid to be racist KVM
Correct...non racist people are afraid to be labeled a racist when they aren't so now they refuse to actually play the game out of fear. Has nothing to do with actual racists.
name one of them tho when even that kid got to continue with his normal popular influencer life, white people are not afraid to vote black people out because of deranged fans.
There is literal proof that even when you are actually racist nothing happens

So Black people can only be successful because people are concerned with optics? We have to be fr, I remember the BB23 non-Cookout members being pissed about them and throwing shade.
The whole house was on Taylor's *** and they didn't care until America called them out after
You put Tiffany on BB21, and she'd struggle, and not because she's incapable. She actually probably wins if she didn't go with the Cookout, but the cast being more diverse is a big reason in that.
Candice on BB15 is a good example of someone who could do well in this current era but struggled due to being cast with the most blatantly racist people the show has had. Helen from that very season probably could've gone deeper if not for that same racial bias.
It's ugly that act like the recent string of success for Black HGs is entirely based on people are afraid to vote out Black people. No the hell they aren't.

It largely is and you know it. Let's not act like Taylor was good at the game at all. Same can be said for many white winners.

We get contestants that could be good but still suffer under the circumstances: Candice Stewart being one. Kemi didn't have a chance in hell, regardless. Amber B might've done decent but was a victim of literal harassment and cattiness when she walked in.
On top of CBS throwing in twists that often screw Black players (Kalia Booker being a prime example).
Taylor wasn't good at playing big brother but they didn't vote for her because she was black. they could have just voted for Monte who was black and played a more standard good Big Brother game.
hell if Paloma doesn't walk Taylor is literally voted out that week against terrence unanimously lol
They did not care about optics when they were talking about Taylor at the very start. And, her making it to the end is a good example of how to play the game from a social standpoint. I'd argue she's a more interesting Jordan Lloyd because she had to get from point Z to A and her speech during finale night is a good example of how far composure and grace can take you.
And, I don't think Taylor is a good strategic player, but her win is an interesting representation of how BB's wins aren't always built around big moves. Josh is a good example of that, Lisa Donahue too. And, I'd argue both of them played better games than given credit for (Josh less so but undermining Paul was a very smart strategy).
I don't think they were split in the first place
wish they had more variety in style of shirts and pants and also colors as welll just basic black tanks and joggers

Cause drama used to get you cast, now it gets you blacklisted.

Not even a stretch. I remember he was arguing without saying it, that Big brother was casting too many black people because "they are only 15% of the country but have 30% of the cast" or something like that.
He literally googled the black population percentage one time and used it to prove that they are overly represented lol.
Gross yet never surprising
