I saw Mark Long post a tweet of asking Landon if he'd be down and he experessed interest. This could be HUGE.
Don't want to be that person but there is a lot of reasons why an spinoff exactly the way he wants wouldn't happen imo
1. If it were to happen MTV will tweak it. Probably make it to be old vs new or OG vs Regulars but a cast full of old wouldn't happen. That would be a way to have some Nostalgia in it while having current fan favs for the current target demo.
2. Older people are more complicate to work with they want paychecks like they are filming for 4-6 weeks, health insurance and even some demand child care for those 2-3 weeks. Hence a lot of them were not contacted after getting the initial calls for the champs vs w.e spinoff.
3. A lot of those people are looking rough without the filters and photoshop. It would be missing the sexual appeal that a reality on MTV for the target demo needs. The Jon Brennan guy looks like someone grandpa plus he is asking people like Teck, Jamie and Dan setz or whoever that is that a lot of people like myself have never seen them on a challenge.
Lol @ MTV even being focused on a "target demographic" while simultaneously not having SHIT going on as a channel except The Challenge. A smart network ran by intelligent people would hop right on the idea seeing as how they have nothing else airing that anybody gives a flying **** about & don't have anything else in the works since filming has been shut down across the board.
So naturally I expect them to completely ignore everything Mark is doing & just bank on being able to film 36 in August lol & don't let that get postponed again; then they'll really be up the creek...... Yeah 2 weeks it's really short the last two champs spinoff were 3.5-4 weeks because doing it in 2.5 weeks like the first one was a little too complicated

What money is MTV pulling in exactly & where in the hell is it going? i legit think it could work, I know mark has talked about it forever but this is the most momentum it's ever gotten. If they film it as a mini season, I think even the two weeks could work. I'm gonna stay in my hopeful bubble lol I haven't been this excited for awhile. I also agree, old seasons should be shown. They could forgo ridiculousness once or twice a week to air old seasons and reintroduce old RW/RR/Challenge seasons.
