Love her. She was The Gauntlet. Def a huge fan of hers <3 She's hilarious and stuck it to her team by staying. She has one of my favorite challenge moments when her and Rachel (RWB2NY) went in the confessional room together and she said 'once you get rid of the whipping boy who do you whip?' #iconic

The downfall of the show indeed...they need to relook at the people casting this thing. And put some money into a few of these cast members who deserve the money and helped the show grow. A good mix is always what is needed for a good season, not just all new random show cast members

I loved her interview on 15 Min of Blame. She brought up the great point that they didn't even try to find her a replacment when Leroy got hurt. She says she knows another Portland guy would have came just for her, but production just sent her home. She said she thinks whenever a girl loses a partner they don't try to replace them...which from my memory without doing any research I feel like that's true. Sarah was sent home twice with no replacement as well. She was def. robbed...she was amazing on Portland, and I feel like she was never given a chance with the Challenge which I will never understand.

Yeah. It was bullshit how they did Avery. I think that in the end they just didn't care enough about her. If they did they would've found her a replacement on Rivals 3 and they would've brought her back at some point afterwards.

That's a very interesting point. Like how they sent Sylvia home on Vendettas even though she was in the hospital the same amount of time as Leroy. And even when they sent Sylvia home, they had KellyAnne waiting and didn't use her. Heather on Exes. Sarah twice obviously. Yet Leroy has Adam DQ and has Michael who wasn't even his Rival come, and Bananas has Devin DQ and in comes Tony. CT messes up his passport and is fine. They've actually never gone out of their way to have a girl stay.
Yeah that whole "theyd be boring" thing always annoyed me. On a TV show not everyone has to be a forefront character ****. Brandon always had his moments every season imo. Just because you not in a ******* love triangle or arguing every episode I dont think that makes you boring. But thats just MY opinion
Yeah, but if you're gonna pay people to be on tv to not be in the forefront and dramatic, it's logically to invest on rookies since it's cheaper. It's testiment enough that not having Averey and Brandon didn't break the show.

I feel like I bring this up like every 6 months LOL but it's so true. Invasion was epic for Shane & Darrell's returns plus Ashley's win but they really ******* dropped the ball on replacing Averey for a cheaper rookie (I know Jenna replaced her but there were other slots). The girl is STUNNING, a solid competitor, had drama with Reilly AND Nany, and was a part of one of my favorite alliances #TeamUpstairs. Production ****** her so hard on Rivals 3. And you're right, they rarely replace women. The only two examples I can think of quickly were Ev for Jonna on FM2 and Cara for Naomi.

Honestly they're cool an all but I think they'd be kinda boring so I have no issues with production gambling on rookies who could bring more to the show. The recent crop of rookies have been really good.

Alicia was wallpaper and all her drama circulates around relationships (same as Averey?), Simone was a trash competitor, Nicole R same, Briana could've been left at home vs making Averey an alternate, etc. Again, we never saw Averey without Reilly, so how do we know she wouldn't bring it? Also, when has relationship drama not been a thing on this show? (example: almost everyone).

Alicia was one of if not THE star of her AYTO season so it's no surprise they put her on. Relationship drama is a thing but that was literally her ONLY thing. What has she brought besides Johnny drama? Even then she only stepped to Nia cause she was wailing on her bf and barely said anything to Nany on Exes. Nothing that I can remember came from her on RW, Exes, short stay on Rivals. Could she bring drama on her own? Maybe but I guess that maybe isn't good enough for production who would rather pay a cheaper rookie who has a better shot at bringing something new to the show.
Only female on Final Reckoning that has no business being there is Britini. Everyone else is a better option.

Agreed. If I'm gonna bring someone on the show to be useless I'm not going to be paying out the *** for them. I'm getting them for cheap because they're not gonna bring anything to the show anyways. You use that money and try to get people who are worth a ****.

I feel like I bring this up like every 6 months LOL but it's so true. Invasion was epic for Shane & Darrell's returns plus Ashley's win but they really ******* dropped the ball on replacing Averey for a cheaper rookie (I know Jenna replaced her but there were other slots). The girl is STUNNING, a solid competitor, had drama with Reilly AND Nany, and was a part of one of my favorite alliances #TeamUpstairs. Production ****** her so hard on Rivals 3. And you're right, they rarely replace women. The only two examples I can think of quickly were Ev for Jonna on FM2 and Cara for Naomi.
Averey isn't boring she brought something on RW and Exes 2...she had an interesting storyline on both.

I think Averey is too nice for this show IMO. Take Johnny out of the equation and any drama she was in never happens (Nia fight, Nany beef). I don't dislike her and wouldn't mind her showing up but it makes sense why production would rather pay less money on a rookie in hopes of more than just nice. Many recent rookies were better choices than she was.
Such as Britni? Briana? Simone? Alicia? Anika? Nicole R? They've also casted their fair share of worthless chicks.
Let's be honest, the girls side is lacking severely competition-wise. There's a few pleasant surprises like Melissa, Sylvia and Amanda that have turned out to be good, but there's a severe lack of competition with them continuing to cast who they cast. I don't expect anyone to be so into it like Cara, but Averey could serious contend.
And as for her "having no drama without Reilly"... well she never really got that chance did she?

Can't vouch for Britini but Alicia is usually drama so is Simone. Nicole R if she wasn't Nany's cousin she'd be gone, Brianna was an alternate, Anika only showed up cause they wanted Bad Blood people. So should they drop rookies like Kam, Natalie, Day, Faith, Angela, Tori (liked by casuals), Melissa, Kayleigh to pay more for Averey in hopes she'll bring something they won't? It's a reality show. Production cares more about drama.
Averey didn't bring drama or much substance without Johnny. She had a whole RW season, half a season of Exes 2 and a couple episodes on RIvals 3. She's cool but not needed.
Alicia was wallpaper and all her drama circulates around relationships (same as Averey?), Simone was a trash competitor, Nicole R same, Briana could've been left at home vs making Averey an alternate, etc. Again, we never saw Averey without Reilly, so how do we know she wouldn't bring it? Also, when has relationship drama not been a thing on this show? (example: almost everyone).
I'm just putting my 2 cents out there that Averey has more potential than a lot of the girls they're casting. Same with people like KellyAnne. They're two girls that have shown to be strong competitiors and bring it drama-wise. It makes 0 sense to leave them at home in favor of who they're casting.

I remember that Averey was so close to being on Invasion and it's a shame because I think she would've done great on that season. I don't think she's too nice for the show, I just don't think she's extra and thirsty for camera time. Averey can be lowkey but she also isn't afraid to stand up for herself and has rubbed people the wrong way so she would've been interesting to watch. I honestly think she would've brought it in terms of competition and drama if she became a regular.
exactly. She's far less 'nice' than sylvia has been with her 'volunteering for eliminations' martyr act the whole way through invasion and she is consistently being called and don't even get me started on 'barbie' Jenna

Alicia was one of if not THE star of her AYTO season so it's no surprise they put her on. Relationship drama is a thing but that was literally her ONLY thing. What has she brought besides Johnny drama? Even then she only stepped to Nia cause she was wailing on her bf and barely said anything to Nany on Exes. Nothing that I can remember came from her on RW, Exes, short stay on Rivals. Could she bring drama on her own? Maybe but I guess that maybe isn't good enough for production who would rather pay a cheaper rookie who has a better shot at bringing something new to the show.
Only female on Final Reckoning that has no business being there is Britini. Everyone else is a better option.
