Wes is clearly still bitter about the twists from Rivals 1 and Exs 2
For someone that lost because of a reset even though they were wayyyyyyy ahead of everyone else, I'm surprised how not butthurt he's been. I would have never let that go with production. Imagine Bananas or Cara being in that situation? They would be boycotting and writing letters.
I get what he’s saying but the puzzle was to make up for the fact that it’s a near imposible task to ask women to beat men in a physicsl final. It just shouldn’t have been genderless.
I Love Money had men vs women in every final, which involved physical as well as mental challenges & a woman won 3 out of the 4 seasons. No time restart equalizer was ever needed.
They’ve been doing “time restart equalizers” on finals for a while though, i mean, whenever the final lasts more than a day, they tend to cut the first and second place’s leads by a lot, why is it any different this time around?

what he say about all of his exes lol I need the deeets! I'm pissed I missed his live
Good things about most and says he wishes he could recconect with them once a year or so. Mandi he said she's a great girl but she fell off the face of the earth. Theresa he said they got really cool on Exes 2 but they stopped talking and he feels like she doesn't want him reaching out. KellyAnne he said she was great but a terrible girlfriend. They still talk sometimes I think he said. And then shit on Johanna on how she had extreme personalities and was abusive towards him.
I believe it, any human that threatens to sell a house just to get him to behave a certain way in a reality TV show game is not the kind of person you ever want to be with. When I was younger I didnt fully grasp it but when I went back to rewatch it as an adult I was LIVID. I hate people like that.
You should watch it again. At one time, Wes and Johanna were apparently nearly married. After they broke up, she approached him wanting to retain at least a cordial relationship during the show. Loyalty to someone that you apparently almost married doesn't seem unreasonable. Nevertheless, on The Ruins, Wes threatened to throw elimination challenges as leverage to get his team, the Champions, to do what HE wanted. Throwing contests threatened to compromise Johanna's position on the show, potentially costing HER a chance to win thousands of dollars. It was at that point that Johanna informed him that she also had some leverage, that he had apparently been dumb enough to allow their home to be placed in HER name. She was playing the game, same as he was.
I understand that he was trying to manipulate the game in his favor, but he did not dirrectly jepordize her position in the game. He might have MAYBE lead to her being put into an elimintion, none of these are for certain things. Its also part of a reality TV show. Not real life. I don't care who you are and how close we are or how civil we are trying to be, TV and real life are two completely seperate things. Threatening to sell MY HOUSE in MY REAL LIFE does not even compare to me maybe hypothetically ruining your chance at a game (and lets be real johanna never really had a chance to win anyways)
Bottom line was that Wes was ******* with her, she reminded him that that's not a smart thing to do all things considered. Was she actually going to do that, no I don't think so. But she played the only cards she had. I'm indifferent to both in the situation because I felt like Wes was being vindictive trying to manipulate himself to get what he wants, Johanna put him back in his place, reminding him she could **** up his real life if he ****s with her.PS, I'm not a Johanna fan at all. But I see why she threatened him. Coming after your ex in a game is never really a good look.

Ask Cara Maria if the money she won on Vendettas will impact her REAL LIFE.
Puzzles have come into play since the early days. Coral's quote she said multiple times 'It always comes down the puzzle' during Battle of the Sexes 2 (granted the girls lost but they also were dumb and kept Arissa around).
I like it better when finals take place in one day, with different task and running (or swimming) to each task. Girls have come out on top. Guys do gas out. Some of my favorite karma moments is when Zach got a cramp, Wes had to be carried by Kenny, and Diem was trying to get CT to keep going up the mountain and he lost them first not her. Rachel dominated Duel 2, Cara Maria did great this season, even in the past people like Katie helped the Road Rules team win on The Inferno. One full final mission with no stops but lots of obsticals and puzzles are the best. It's also fun when it's a team at the end because they're only as good as their weakest player and some times the weakest player can surprise you (Katie on The Inferno) and help the team win and it makes great memorable tv.
Are you really trying to compare 378 Grand to a measly 50 grand?
Did I say that? NO! That said, Johanna only threatened to SELL the house, not keep the proceeds from the sale. Apparently, they purchased a home together but Wes was so dumb he agreed to put the house in Johanna's name. Wes was apparently LIVING in the house they commonly purchased. Therefore, selling the house would have been a huge inconvenience to Wes since he would have had to move out of a home where he was comfortable.
A shot at 50 Grand is enough incentive for ANYONE to become defensive. For those who think Johanna had NO chance at making the final, you are wrong. Susie, for example, made it to a final where she actually had to be CARRIED by her teammates (as did Wes by the way LOL). Weaker players sometimes do make it to finals.
The Ruins....I hated that JEK took over that season and the Vets didn't band together and take the show back but we got some great heavy hitters and amazing Vets that returned. <3
I will never forget Wes saying he never interacted with Veronica in a live for CvP.
lol what? as in they never spoke?
Yea after the cast for CvP was announced he did a live on the challenge's Facebook and I asked what it was like with Veronica after all those years. He basically said he doesn't know everyone that does these shows and he had never even met Veronica or something to that effect. Uh....

DEAD. She was one of the few who helped in on his elimination with Cohutta, and he told KellyAnne that’s Veronica would help her.
Kenny/Wes both handle that Rivals bullshit ending well..
Unfortunately production is never consistent with anything so the challenge will never be fair.
Yeah. Kenny/Wes deserved that final and I say this as someone that hates Kenny and hated Wes at the time.

But she didn’t make it to the Final
for extra banter that twitter acc should use an ****** page for its website
In the Ruins, neither did Wes. Johanna went deeper into the game than Wes did.
Which nadeher threat pointless. Her going to the Final wasn’t a realistic goal.

The Ruins was a trash season tbh.
Ruins was fine up until veronica and wes went home after that it truly went downhill
Agreed ^

He probably just didn't talk to her during The Ruins and CVP. Can't blame him. She sucks.
