Realistic I see this taking a hit on the ratings. Regardless if it's a good or bad season storyline wise.
A combination between the network numbers going down on the last few months to the point that their biggest show Jersey Shore is pulling 600k-700k viewers compared to their last 2 seasons that it was pulling 900k-1.2m. Plus the extra 30 mins per episode will hurt ratings after the premiere episode.

Are Eps going to be an hour and a half?
(Sorry if this has been talked about already. I took a vevmo hiatus)

Thanks! I've always wanted longer episodes because I want more of the drama but still want to have the competition and eliminations on the same episode.
Edit: sorry I didn't know it had been officially announced. I guess I should have read the official site, lol
I see the ratings taking a hit because the trailer was ‘g as good as the first WOTW. Nothing about the trailer had me like daaaamn I need to watch this shit. But WOTW got stale in the middle of the season, so maybe this will be different.

Though interesting note, streaming numbers for Viacom D2C apps + site were up month over month for the first 6 months of this year, including MTV. Viacom has a strong Q2 for stocks in part as a result of streaming numbers - it's why CBS wants to merge with them (they're tech already under the same holding company). There's going to be a specific highlight for the "reality" brands for Viacom and CBS, the same way Warnermedia is already blocking that out for their HBO Max app with TruTV and original content.

yeah MTV gets lucky they do good enough in exactly what they need to do good in to appeal to the bottom dollar. It's kind of a complacent attitude but whatever floats their boat. As far as the numbers and what looks good to investors sure they're good enough but they should be on the front end of TV channels considering their brand. They could have MAD programming

Are we sure this means every episode will be 90 minutes? Because that screenshot reads to me like it'll only be a 90 minute premiere.
You need to work on those basic reading skills cause it clearly says 90 minute episodes. When there is an "s" on the end of a noun it means multiple or more than one.
Faith murdered everyone with her look in this picture. Every other girl should turn around. Whoever the girl on the next to Georgia is looks super intense and like she is ready to drag some heifers.
the trailer thread ain’t popping like it use to and the trailer gave us nothing to really chat about just the same ole shit nothing new, nothing different.

There’s no reason to get excited about the challenge anymore
People still complained about that season lmao

Stop rewarding mediocrity with your viewership. Change the channel for good.
No more Cara. No more paulie. No more CT. No more John.

Legend Turabi Camkiran >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Just lock him in a room with Jordan, Zach, Johnny, Hunter, etc. and let him destroy them.

The only thing about this season that kinda makes me want to watch is the fact we are getting a big team format.
the trailer thread ain’t popping like it use to and the trailer gave us nothing to really chat about just the same ole shit nothing new, nothing different.
It was also released on a Fri night which is poor timing.
Sounded Australian to me.
Hunter?! Thought you were team TYB graph?! why the betrayal?! lol.
that voice is way too high pitch to be Dee
I couldn't really tell but I think it was a new player as I know what Dee sounds like and that wasn't it.
That was Dee. She even quoted it on twitter lol
Betrayal where lol I'm definitely team Nelson & Cory. I've been said they need to do a Destiny's Child and replace that trash with 2 new members.
Marlon should replace Hunter.
Precisely. Him & one or both of Swaggy C/Faysal.
anyway I'm super *** excited about it. 90 minute episodes? and a super-sized premiere in just over TWO WEEKS? better than I could have hoped for.
Oh no no no no no. Fessy’s and his 2nd grade IQ need to stay far away.
Three idiots together (Fessy/Cory/Nelson) such a great alliance lol
