This isn’t Survivor or America’s Ultimate Challenge. Yes, they’re competing for money, but The Challenge was built on cast PERSONALITIES, drama, and hookups. Imagine a season with 30 Yeremis, Horacios, and Chrises sure, physical beasts, but where’s the storylines/content?

Chris Underwood slander? His sloppy social/political game more than provided for MULTIPLE episodes.
Honestly she didn't even really have a point. Ashley's won 2 seasons and Tay won her first elimination and hasn't been pathetic in dailies. She just wanted to shade people and that's what is starting to annoy me. It seems like she's trying too hard to talk fecal. She's forcing it and it's beginning to fall flat, sadly.
I don't want a niche. I was genuinely enteratining people. People like Devun, Vicki, John, & Wes who create "niches" for themselves are the most intolerable.
She IS forcing it but at least she's trying something. She and Leo are the ONLY rookies actively trying to carve a niche out for their "characters".
Is it too upfront and a bit disingenous? Sure. But I appreciate the effort to be entertaining in some way.
For me, it’s when people overdo their characters like Devin and Tori. They were likable on their first season, but then forced themselves into these annoying personas. Hopefully she doesn't become like them.

This is also the people that get called back. Blame production/casting for this.

You're not giving her enough credit as someone that knows where she came from and the game she played on Survivor, OS.
She was the snarky, sarcastic girl on Survivor who hated her tribemates and was really good in challenges. She downplayed her personality and avoided confrontation because that's usually suicide on Survivor. You could even say she was a "subtle" hater.
She gets taken out by a literal bottom 3 all time twist after winning immunity. And if she had played nice with her exit interviews and if Survivor like 45 is Second Chances 2, there's like a ~15%ish chance she sneaks on the cast.
But thankfully, no, she's a hater at heart and rightfully TRASHES Probst and Survivor production for their awful twist. Effectively ending any chance (albeit odds were small) at returning to that franchise.
Four years go by and you and me rally Skye to give her a call and interview (I 100% believe this) and she gets her shot on The Challenge.
Sydney is a vain woman. She likes the finer things. She has money. She WANTS attention. She wants another shot at this reality tv thing.
She coulda came off as an "ice queen" like Angela Rummans or a "IDGAF about this" Kailiah type but she decided to turn her haterade dial to 11, play her character, talk her shit, and secure her callback.
I cannot hate her for it. There's literally ZERO incentive to play her second chance anything like how she played Survivor.
I was her number one champion. I don't dislike the show version of her. I think she's getting a weak edit cause this is the Olivia show this season, but it's just the online persona and never letting go of being hater. I loved her as a hater on Survivor, but this now seems fake and forced. She's liking their Instagram stuff but trashing them. She's shading everyone. She's doing too much. Just be natural and she'll shine.
She said nothing wrong.... the show has been portrayed as being america's 5th sport and producers literally edit out challengers entertaining moments just to add another 5 minutes on the daily. The challenge hasnt been about personalities for awhile lol. If you aint in shape get the fruit fly outta here plus even if CT was in shape its not like he adds much these days.
I thought Sydney would be more like a stabler Marie with Tori's abilities. I knew she wasn't Amanda, but she doesn't seem to be bringing as much fun as Marie did.
I want to see more of her than just this arrogant character who talks badly about people on confessionals, social media, and podcasts. My favorite cast members are the ones with layers, not just one dimensional.

Michaela & Sydney not gaining any favors with this cast wow.

I don't like Sydney but I kinda understand whatever point she was making
People with her mentality has ruin this show

Devin was annoyIng and played a role his first season as a Wes understudy

Two things can be true: production holds responsibility, and Sydney is an insufferable lady
Can Sydney whack Olivia or Theo next?!
behind their backs but never to their face
ok can Michaela whack them then?

it's okay sportsman. there will never be another Amanda

Maybe the annoying, arrogant persona is her and there's nothing more.
Sydney's doing fine. She'll keep talking fecal and performing well in dailies.
Thank God for that
