The Challenge: Vendettas - Cory Wharton

After watching the episode, I felt really bad for him. The inquisition was tremendously painful to watch. You can tell Cory was utterly intimidated by Brad and Bananas. Cory has a big potential but I think he’s not emotionally strong enough to take out the Vets. Everytime he got himself in confrontation with the Vets, he seems impressed and intimidated.

I agree the intimidation was real. Poor Cory, he's realizing that this winning thing isn't as easy as he thought.

It seemed that Cory actually did shake Bananas up with the "I'm comin' fer ya" speech (a little) (at first).  Without a solid alliance of smart players on both sides of the game, he is going in every time. IMO having Nelson as a dodo bird, wildcard sidekick is not helping his game or his credibility.

I think it's more of a "Aww shit, my plan didn't work. What should I do now?" attitude and frazzle-ness and less of an intimidation from Bananas. I do think Brad came off intimidating. He's an OG vet. Ripped. In the Troika. Unknown element since he has never worked with Cory before. All elements for general intimidation. He also excelled on his Don Corleone-esque schtick at the inquisition.

Still King though. ✌

King of Going Home Early

so much truth. that face doe.

Bananas/Cory have this riviarly on the show but they get along outside the show. Bananas has commented on a ton of his baby pics saying congrats and what not.

Of course they do, hence why I’m so tired that MTV push this « rivalry » down to our throats. At least Wes, make it funnier and more authentic, cause he’s a better comedian.

His lack of social skills and inability to consistently perform makes for awful tv. I don’t care about him anymore

Absolutely but Cory likes Bananas at the end of the day, and everytime Bananas talking to him more vehemently, he become instantly docile.

The problem with Cory is he's just not that good. You can't talk a big game and have a "hit list" when a majority of the cast can beat you.

I was low key obsessed with  Cory on Explosions & I was so proud of him on Bloodlines but now? Hes been making some frustrating choices....

I felt bad for him as well. If he didn't include Brad in that secret alliance lie it would've been his word against Victor's. Why would you lie about someone who has the power to throw you in elimination-right in front of their face?

His problem is he's not smart...less talking more thinking and her be straight. He can compete.

Still King though. ✌

Sweetie.... you know you wanting to do him does not equate to royalty... don't you?

Exactly. That was embarrassing. It’s very hard to root for him sometimes, even as a Cory « fan »

I agree. I still like Cory. But if he comes back for next season (tbh I think he needs a season off) I hope he comes in and really gets his head in the game or else he truly will turn into Leroy and i’m not here for that. Cory can make it farther and has the potential to win. But some shit with him has to change.

I feel like his best shot was with Mitch and to and Ashley M. This guys not that smart to used common sense and solved puzzles.

I'm actually okay with watching a player talk big, try to make big moves, and **** up. And Cory is a cute face to do so. But he can take a three season break.

I think is funny that he is complainning about production just giving the dumb **** **** boy edit every season, but then goes and do a dating show where they are going to exploited thatvside of him even more lol

Yeah can't really get mad when you provide them w/ that footage. Hopefully Cory is learning a lesson from this. I really hope the next season he comes on he only focuses on the game. Don't **** with any females, makes the right alliances and makes it to a final. Hopefully he'll think about his image now that he's a dad and spending time with his daughter.

I agree. But I also think if Cory does get a good partner like he had w/ them then he can get a win. He just needs to play the game right. It's clear he can make finals on his own (invasion) but when it comes to puzzles it ***** him up. He needs someone who's strong w/ that to help him out. Pair or team challenges is his way to become a champ.

Did they get paid to do that show?

After that last episode, he really needs to check himself and take a break.

What Cory should’ve done is either throw Victor under the bus with the secret alliance thing and NOT Brad. B/c when he mentioned that Bananas looked intrigued like “oh really” but he executed the whole thing terribly like Brad said “come with some content”. Also he could’ve gone to Brad, who is on the outside of the main alliance, and gotten him to throw it Tony which I think would’ve easily worked since that’s Brad’s “vendetta” & is apart of the main alliance. Cory’s political game is absolutely horrid.
