Okay, well using that logic the rest of the people in the final should have completed the first checkpoint of the final, which was the memorization one that Amber won. Just CT and Amber completed it because there were male/female heats. The rules in that final weren't consistent at all, and it's not her fault.
I don't see the similarity of Cara/Tori either. And yeah Cara never had the benefit of being a production fav. They paired her up with Marie for a season.
When did Tori ever get a great partner? Derrick was a disaster and Devin sucks according to everyone here. She has Danny one WC because he picked her.
Cara had Laurel, Abram and Cooke....even her cousin was a good competitor. Again Laurel Abram and Cooke.
In Cara's defense she lost and got 2nd place with those strong partners to even stronger teams with elite women (Emily and Evelyn plus Paula is kinda good and she was partners with both when Cara lost lol), and we both know what happened in Cutthroat, which wasn't her fault.

tbf Vendettas was basically formatted for the men to succeed because Vendettas was a pure individual game. The only girl that could keep up with the guys in daily performances was Natalie, who wounded up being the final girl eliminated

True. But, those were also the seasons Paula had Evelyn and Emily so Cara was never a front runner even with objectively good partners. Plus, Cooke was a rookie and no one was gonna know if she'd be good or not. Even with an athletic background (see: Derrick H)
She's had great partners but those great partners were on seasons with more experienced vets who were even stronger. Tori wasn't winning with them in those seasons and that's not shade either.

CBS has some numbers and Amanda might be able to squeeze in there long enough that shouldn't matter. Plus, she's cool with Josh so there's a legitimate chance she could be fine.
On the opposite end she could've faced off with Ameerah. It could've been Jonna or Tori. We don't know the format and it's always a much harder guessing game when we don't know how the game works.
