They really didn't show the deliberations that caused them to pick Dom and Cash. Don't know if this played a role, and they didn't air it, but the back story I got was that the three TAR players got together after Leo and Cayla spoke and then had a convo stressing they needed to stick together. After that convo, James went back to Kyland and Angela and recanted his desire to go against Leo.
Oop shannon said the living conditions is why she wont be back. She was called for an alternate for challenge season 38 but she said no.

I was about to call off our newly found alliance but actually you are right. After the first episode she disappeared. But with the 5 minute production pairings and way too long challenges, if you don't win or go in you don't get airtime.
