Umm for The Challenge USA... I'm rooting for everybody that's black lol and that's about it. Angela I may like on this but I didn't care for her on BB. So we'll see.
TAR33 I liked the guys who were on the train shooting or whatever happened. The daughter/father team from Detroit. That married black couple. I think Ray is fine af but they didn't come back after Covid. The cast is actually not bad. A lot of rootable teams.

I don't completely understand the rationale of just rooting for a certain race, but sometimes people just go with what they are most familiar with in life. Nothing wrong with that, if you accept an opposing race doing the same thing. I just think that's a force of nature partly. Races self segregate to some extent, just because it's more comfortable to hang with people you have things in common with. Not saying that's you. Not saying that's a bad thing. Just me making an opinionated overall observation of how the world works. I think Desi or Justine would be my picks, if Cayla wasn't in this thing. Anthony and Spencer, the two that thwarted the terrorist attack (They star in the Clint Eastwood directed movie about themselves 'The 15:17 to Paris'), were a strong team and might have made it to the finals if the Covid break didn't knock them out. Akbar and Sherri, would have been a force to reckon with if they were still in their Div 1 athletic prime. They do bigger, more impressive things out in the real world for the youth in their community. Arun and Natalie, the daughter/father team from Detroit, definitely tugged at your heart strings, but not the strongest of racers. I have daughters, so I would love to do the father/daughter race thing with any one of them. I get it if you were attracted to the dude, but Ray and Caro were at the bottom of my list. If Cayla and Raquel weren't on the race, I probably would have rooted for Dusty and Ryan. Ryan has a crazy story, being convicted of a murder he wasn't even near. If you haven't watched Dream Killer, watch it. It will blow your mind. Cayla and Dusty actually have a podcast, Pitstop Podcast, together since the race finished. Even though Dusty isn't on this Challenge, I imagine they will be covering episodes of this on their podcast, because they have indicated they have future plans for their podcast.
Since this is a Cayla Stan thread, I will wrap this up by saying "Let's Go Cayla!" Maybe during this show she will grow on you. If she continues to annoy you, I hope she is the one that flings your favorite in an elimination. JK

If what I said was insulting to a black person, I apologies. In a long round about way, I was saying I get it, after I first said I don't completely understand. Maybe I should have left out I don't completely understand, when I went on to explain I do understand. We gravitate to what is familiar to us in our lives. I didn't think anything I typed implied it was wrong to see black excellence. Also, there is nothing wrong with favoring black, white, yellow, red .... Just as long as your favor is not used to harm/exclude another. Sometimes it's a fine line everyone has to walk. I wish it wasn't that way, but everything in our world right now is designed to create division it seems. You should be allowed to have an all black fraternity, or an all women, or an all men, ... But as you see, those scenarios truly are excluding someone, so that always leaves the door open for someone to argue that's not right. Sorry, I'm done being a philosopher/psychologist. I just want The Challenge USA to start airing already and watch Cayla kick some ***.
On a side note: No one has ever called me wholesome.LOL
I'm ride or die Cayla all the way, but was a little disappointed with her this first episode. Not disappointed in her personal interaction, just her daily challenge performance. She pulled it out, but still don't put faith in your partner having it.
