I was recently told by a source, who will remain hidden, gauntlet 2 had a lot of struggles casting bc of money. Apparently there was supposed to be a pay raise and production renigged on the promise so that's why so many people said no. Which is how people like Jamie, Jo, and few others got cast.
Every time I hear Gauntlet 2 I get sick knowing Raquel had to back out and we were robbed of her becoming a Challenge regular. That and Sydney being dropped from Seasons 2 haunts me daily.
