Possibly unpopular opinion? I really hope they follow the teams format the whole way through. It has been a long time since we have actually had a TRUE teams season. (I am not a superfan I could be wrong). And considering the theme of this season is to find the best era, it seems fitting to remain in teams the entire way.
I really hope this is what happens. It would be a great call back to the gauntlet era
I think in a Mike Lewis podcast, she legit was scared of the lifestyle but she said she got over it and would gladly go on one as soon as her schedule matches up.

yeah Tony has never done anything for me on this show except annoy me when he cheats on his girlfriend and then acts like it's everyone else's fault. Lol
Since it's a tv show about entertainment and we need it to be more fun and light-hearted cause the serious vibes suck, all eliminations show be based on who is the funniest. Aviv would be screwed but the rest of DAT TALK would dominate.

preach! I could care less about how physically well someone does - that's the issue with the show. The reason why it was so entertaining was the personalities like Tina, Katie, Coral, etc. and they didn't come off as bad actors like Paulie, Josh, Bear, and other horrible "influencer wannabes" they've cast since 31. I wanna see them in chicken suits or fat suits doing ridiculous missions. At least we're getting some good names once again on the main series - hope they keep this trend!
im bored so im gonna rank the cast in terms of how excited i am to see them (and by the cast I mean the women bc I genuinely do not care about how the males do):
1. Katie - I love Katie. I sort of agree with some saying that Susie or...whoever the other era 1 person was gonna be...would have been better/more competitive, but you know what? I just like seeing Katie on my tv. I hope she does try though, and that in her inevitable 4-5 episode run she has some good moments before she retires forever and never returns.
2. Michele - I love Michele from Survivor, and i haven't really watched the last few seasons with her, but idc. I will always root for Michele. And yeah, she will have a rough time because she is seemingly hated by lots of people, but ..not trying to be corny...Michele is a survivor. She can handle difficult situations, and she can overcome lots of challenges and make it far. Do I think she can win? No chance, but I think she will survive longer than expected and then maybe go home like 7-8 episodes in.

Pre-meditated fight lol? The cameras weren't even rolling when it started. Katie was hesistant to return because she didn't want that side to come back out. Katie is great because she is natural and never performing for cameras. It's also why she has boring seasons. Her "let it go"' was more iconic than anything anyone else did in the covid and beyond era. If you want to hate her for just showing up for the check and quitting then fine but don't slander her name acting like she's Josh rehearsing fights before seasons or Devun rehearsing confessional lines in the mirror.
Super late to this but wow, I'm actually very excited for this. Overall I think it's an extremely strong, balanced cast.
some realistic notes/improvements:
Era 1: id probably swap out Aneesa for Veronica, though I'm not really that mad at Aneesa as she's been the most consistently appearing person from this era, I just want more of the mean girls together
Era 2: LOVE the female side, what a fun surprise to get Aviv. Men's side is looking very weak. I would swap out Derek and Ryan for literally anyone lol. Hopefully they are early outs.
Era 3: very excited to see Averey back on the main show, but I would probably swap her for Ashley. I literally can't believe they're still leaving her off seasons when she had some major pivotal moments in this franchise. Also since Nelson obviously can't be on this, would be nice to see Hunter make his return as the mystery person.
Era 4: mama this is garbage. It makes me sad seeing how much I loved the first 3 eras and then looking through this era and only being excited for Theo, Nurys and Michele (though she needs a break after this).
a little bummed we didn't get some big shocking names like Coral, Landon, Sarah, Susie, etc. But still very happy with this cast
so he replaced derek c, brandon, nehemiah, or ryan?

wouldn't be a huge loss to lose any of them, but tbh I feel like nehemiah kinda earned it competitively with his All Stars performances, I was sorta endeared with some of the personal content Derek C got in All Stars, and Brandon is very likeable. I hate joining the chorus of people hating on him (because it must suck to hear it all the time), but if one of those four leaves, I hope it's Ryan.

I get Aneesa being on the cast since she is oddly the on cast member to cross every generation - but I really wanna see Susie on this show again. And they denied us of her on All Stars 4 and now 40. still shocked they said no to both Susie and Sarah for all stars 4
