I'll never understand the point of having an all winners season when they are contacting non-winners. Kinda like how non-champs were contacted for champ vs stars.
Came here to post exactly this. It's turning into the Champs vs. stars shit. Production has no idea what they're doing. They deserve the nosediving ratings.
Its because production cares more casting their favorites, rather than sticking to a theme. Its always been that way. At least with the champ show, it was more understandable because lack of women champs being able to do it. They have gotten more women champs since then, and I think all of them would do it (except maybe not jonna, depending on filming time) so there's no reason to contact Aneesa or Nany IMO.
They should just stick to winners that won the mtv show. It's not like they don't have enough people to choose from especially now with tori/devin winning. Tyson/Natalie Anderson would be cute though but still
if they want to go the winners of their original show route, they should do like a cuthroat style format. with winners of their respective show series in one team, The Challenge, BB, Survivor?
They shoulda just rigged the 5 day final more if they really wanted Nany that bad for this champs world thing
They probably did and Nany still flopped
No they just keep extending the final until Tori and Devin catch up. Producers must be giggling and popping open champagne in the camera room after they screw Nany of a season win once again
So if Tyson was called and if he's cast.. what was the point of even doing The Challenge USA on a production standpoint.
I mean, it's making CBS money and they have other options they can pull from USA as well. Remember, CBS carries most of the viewership for Paramount plus so I'm sure they want recognizable faces on it so it does well. They can pull any of the finalists and Xavier(winner of BB23).

I worded that wrong. What I meant to say was, why cast him (and Xavier for that matter) to compete for the chance to be on the global championship show, if he was already in contention for it in the first place? Like if he or X will be on the Global Championship regardless, what was the point of casting them on the USA version which was looked at as "if you win, you'll be competing in the global championship". Which they both lost..
Oh.. just must be a bad photo. She's looking she's 50 and belongs on Housewives in that pic. Or some pastors wife who is embezzling money from the church

I mean, if X wasn't casted for USA, they don't have Cookout revenge storyline which carried the entire first third of the season and allowed the ratings to stabalize. If Tyson wasn't casted, you don't have a main character. These two are integral to this season. It's not just about getting winners...it's about entertainment at the end of the day.
I was just thinking same about how does 5 days come down to a puzzle. TJ, "Johnny/Nany, you have won for 4 straight days, you get a 90 second head start."
Why are you assuming Johnny/Nany were leading/winning?

When Brooke wins the Australian version and then eliminates Tori in a boxing elimination >>

They wouldn't go against Olivia and Horacio who took them out and came on due to them being replacements for Nam/Emmy
They probably did and Nany still flopped
all we need is kaycee, tori, amber and jonna as the female cast... why are they calling these other losers
Oh they contacted finalists too?
oh yeaaaaaaaahhh
The more I think about it, Tori & Devin winning was the best/fairest outcome as all the other teams were not on the starting cast.

Actually kinda on this I just reread Olivia/Horacio and Nam/Emmy were replacements for Aneesa and Kc teams but Aneesa and Kc are still there like lmao

Laurel is not a loser?

she barely does these shows. Lets see if she accepts

Someone on Twitter said Da'vonne is a Challenge legend. Why though?
