In Wotw 1 they did the format change ep 10 which is the one currently being filmed. It really depends how many episodes theyre planning on having because WOTW had 15 but if they do 18/19 again like last season, them staying in pairs will fit.
Even if it was individual eliminations, that doesn't necessarily mean only 1 person is out? You can have a solo men and women's elimination eveyr round of the game, like they did on Free Agents/DirtyThirty/etc.
