People rooted for Natalie Anderson who won a million dollars. People still root for Ashley Doens't make any sense why people wouldn't root for Tommy because he won Survivor.

You realize that all that matters are the ratings. Our opinions on quality are irrelevant unfortunately. We agree the season wasn't great (though the winners were deserving) but our complaints lack validity now. The ratings justify their decisions.

I said F Dan because he was wrong in saying the season was great, you said 'the ratings say we're wrong' and then just agreed with me that the season wasn't great, like seriously what's your point besides needing to make counter arguments to every post on here?
The point is you are criticizing him for being wrong but the reality is we're in the minority. Most seem to love the season other than us. You went on a weird rant discrediting his playing career then analyst career. They want this to be viewed as a sport (as do i) and he's helping that which is what your rant was originally about.
Things like this and ratings like they've been getting is sadly why the awful casting/ugly formats will never change smh they're really finna take this "5th major sport" thing even more serious
It is working. Us die hard and super fans may not like it but whatever they are doing are appealing and working to these legit sports personalities on bigger networks and just to fans in general. The huge production spectacle and movie like theme's that started on WOTW1 and continue to this day is bringing in new fans that are here just strictly for the competition.

Tommy is the bost boring survivor winner in several years. One of the most boring ever in fact. I get that in general Survivor winners and players in general are a lot more successful in life than your average big brother player which makes it harder to find survivor players to cast and that is why they had to dig in the bottom of the barrel before they got a yes from Tommy. Nat A was a huge get but Tommy? awful. I cannot believe he is most likely going to be on this season.

His gameplay wasn't that great, he mostly made the final because people took shots at others and not seeing him as a threat, forgetting he was there, he didnt win any immunitys either.
But either way, with the skulls invloved the challenge doesn't have any game play for him to take part in. The only gameplay is trying to get thrown in vs someone you think you can beat. Its that every episode now, even winning the dailys have little value other than putting yourself in elimination.

I like Natalie and I thought her strategic game was strong. I think Tommy played a better game though. But I'd root for Natalie if she was on this season (if we're ignoring the social media stuff)
I don't remember Tommy having an exciting gameplay ? Wasn't he just super social and kinda laid back in that department. If he orchestrated a blindside he was very behind the scenes with it.

I do think Tommy has a shot of doing very well in these phyisical eliminations because of his size/strength and I want rookies that can compete and strategize. I don't look for anything else. Exactly, no one cares about "decent human beings" on The Challenge, or at least, that's not the type of person that we want the whole cast to being consisted of.
Tommy didn't even win a single immunity? I know Survivor challenges are different but that's not a good sign that he can't win against people who generally are like... not physical specimens like on the Challenge lol
