There is too much talk about Ashley, who does the same thing from season to season. Her absence won't change anything, she can't give this show anything new, because she doesn't change at all. This is the same person in Rivals 3 and Double Agents, she did not show any progress or regression of personality.

Unless you consider going from "I'm rich because my parents are rich" to "I'm rich because I won a million dollars on a show" to be character progression

Look, any fight josh had, was set up. Besides maybe with Ashley. But fighting with Devin or fessy, that shits scripted in his head. Josh and fessy tryna make a rivals team because neither wants to be paired with Devin if that moment ever comes

OMG, Nelson followed Berna!

You are way too excited about that lol.

I am just surprised Smile

Why are people so sure there'll be a Rivals 4? That's what Vendettas was, and Final Reckoning was Rivals 5.

I want Taylor on The Challenge

Well thats nice

I'm sure there was a time CT was universally hated right long time fans?

No lol. When would he have been hated? Even when being an ******* those first handful of seasons, CT was liked because he was both good and hot plus the Diem romance happened during his third challenge. Then the Adam incident made him more infamous than anything else.

After that, it's all redemption for him: Bananas backpack (iconic), Rivals (most were rooting for him/Adam), Exes (rekindling with Diem), and Rivals 2 (win).

Maybe if the editors showed more actual interaction between competitors again and why they like/dislike each other we would have a better feel for their real personalities. Instead we have morons like Skye who think Josh's planned blowups are what viewers want to see.

I never said Ashley was the best person, but this show has drifted so far from the Real World that we hardly even get to see anything regarding their actual personalities so we're kind of left in the dark. The only moment where I felt actually connected/interested to someone during Double Agents was when Theresa was talking about postpartum depression and how her life was changed, and that was like 5 minutes at most of the season.

Exactly. CT was probably the most tumultuous castmember back in the day. A lot of fans excused his behavior because he was going through real life stuff like his brother being murdered, "losing the love of his life" (meaning their breakup, not her passing), etc.

CT was loved pretty much always even when he was an actual dangerous person

Oh maybe it was just the cast. I listened to a fairly recent Landon podcast and he HATES him and was shocked to find out he changed at all.

You skaking in your boots cuz you know she'll beat Nany's ***. Haha!

Landon didn't say he hates him. He said he didn't think he was a good person and would be surprised if he changed or something along those lines.

I am not suprised a lot of old schoolers may not have a good opinion of CT. He was an ******* and did a lot of scummy shady shit. He definately got good edits even when they were showing some of his bad behaviour.  But he was stealing prescriptions and stuff like that not to mention being an alpha who could back it up so he was indimiating as hell for most of the cast.  When he was high and or drunk his worst behaviour was also amped up so they got to see him at his worst while we saw snippets and because he was such a good competetor and good looking and was charismatic and funny, he got great edits. At least that is how I saw it.

I think it was confirmed by some cast that even on recent seasons he got good edits and they didnt show him doing stuff that might make him look bad.

LOL Josh calling Fessy family after getting in a physical altercation with him

See. I really think it was staged lol

Just like Josh's and CT's WOW2 argument seemed staged.

I think Josh is like this production plant lol. He really is there to get on our nerves and maybe get some people "over" (Fessy)

He kept on shading him saying he's not an athlete and that even Rachel could kick his ***. That felt very hateful for me.

I'm sure there was a time CT was universally hated right long time fans?

By CASTMATES lol.

Fans, different story. People really did like seeing him lose his shit for some reason. There are only a few people who are turned off by how CT used to be. But fans generally did take him as he was, thats why they consider him a GOAT even before he started winning so much. I think his looks helped him. Maybe if he was less attractive and not white, fans would have hated him more. But he was very good looking, funny, and also good at the games- so viewers didn't care. Then of course after Diem viewers became even more okay with him...Josh isn't even funny nor good at these games, so there is very little reason for fans to like him, thus they don't excuse his behavior. If Josh was a beast atleast, I think that would take SOME of the slack off. Like he doesn't have his good traits

It was just the cast who hated CT back then because unlike the viewers, they had to deal with his mess.

Yeah that is just dumb. I think some of that is Landon's ego because when people talk about the best ever athletes on the show, it is usually Landon or CT being brought up the most.  Saying he is not an athlete is just dumb.  Regardless of how one may feel about his personality, he has been in the elite echelon of athletic competitors in challenge history since his first season.

He was speaking about finals, and Landon and Rachel would kick his *** lol Rachel would kick most guys' ***** on this show

He was speaking his opinion, he never said he "HATES" him

CT was never really the best well-rounded athlete, that's why he died in finals several times. That's what Landon was referring to if I remember. He was mostly brute strength. Again, it's just an opinion but CT was never the best at finals until recently, and that's more-so because he sets himself up to win against guys far worse than him.

Like let's be honest - CT was horrible for a long time. He was a coked out drunk alpha meathead who was unpredictable and dangerous. He got good edits cause he was the hot bad boy like someone said.

1. The viewers only had to watch CT, while castmates had to deal with and live with CT lol. Of course the viewers don't feel like the castmates

2. The last time Landon saw CT was duel 2 LMAO. Of course those are his thoughts about him. The last time he saw the guy, he was on a munderous rampage and had Diem crying lol. When thats your last expirience with a person, you're gonna have a hard time thinking they changed or were a good person.

I don't think Landon is a hater. He actually always seemed cool. He just hasn't seen CT in like 15 years lmao. I am sure if you ask Coral, the Miz, anybody else who went that long without seeing CT they will say the same.

Maybe he wasn't the best well rounded athelte BACK THEN. But he is now.

He is not only winning finals just because he "sets himself up to win against guys worse than him"

Come on. He has beaten Darrell in a more recent elimination. He has beaten bananas in elimination more than he lost to him. He doesn't have to do that. Like Josh, and many other actual recent cast memebers said, CT is good at everything. His best trait is how strong he is, and yeah its always been that way.

But you're not being real if you're acting like CT can't also eat, and like his endurance isn't good these days, and like he isn't good at puzzles. Thats why he is winning, he has done this long enough to be good at everything. But CT been mastering puzzles since Dual 1. He also always had a stomach of steele, even in that cookies and milk challenge- eating was also something he could always do...Battle of the exes is the ONLY final CT ever died in. IDK where you getting he "always dies" in finals from, CT just lost finals at the start but he was never the reason for it, except for in Battles of the exes. That was the only time. You know damn well he lost a final because of big easy before lol

He kept on shading him saying he's not an athlete and that even Rachel could kick his ***. That felt very hateful for me.

I wouldn't be surprised if Landon did hate CT because CT was horrible to him and others' Landon was close to when they were on together. And Landon's not wrong about CT not being the best athlete back then cause CT was often coked out, drunk, and chain smoking when Landon knew him.

However, people were still scared of him in a final which is why guys like Wes/Evan tried to get him out on the Duel and others went into Duel 2 with a plan to target him.

Either way, he was def a legit ******* with unhealthy coping mechanisms and took his anger issues out on other people in dangerous ways. Fans just never saw that fully and then excused/ignore what they did see because of CT's life issues and hottness, so he was pretty liked even at his lowest point on the show by fans.

Right. It reminding me how during those days they called CT a dumb *** who is only brawn and strength, but can't even read a book. Thats what Landon's comments are giving, hence he wasn't the only one to say something like that about what CT is capable of.

But now we see its clearly not the case since he is good at puzzles (which he did prove back then) and appearently he always been good at math.

As I said, Diem said it best, CT's lack of maturity and personal issues are his real problems. If he did something about those things he'd be better off. Thats proven to be true, she is just the only one from that era who knew that.

lol doesn't ct have an engineering degree or something?

lol doesn't ct have an engineering degree or something?

Idk about all of that lmao. But his dad did work in that field, and CT said he was being prepped to take over in it, so he had to learn alot of stuff from that. So he does know some stuff about it, and was good at math in general

And CT did go to college and he did graduate. He was about to finish or had just finished University during his real world season (he was 22 years old). So yeah he got an education not sure if engineering was the degree- I doubt it because he wouldn't be on this show lol. But he wasn't as dumb as they tried to make him seem. He always had the brains, he just didn't want to use it the right way back then

lol doesn't ct have an engineering degree or something?

He has a degree in business management. He went to both UMass Amherst and UMass Dartmouth, the latter he left after he was kicked off the basketball team iirc.

Not surprised about Nany and Kaycee hooking up. They are two very attractive women who you could tell had chemistry right off the bat. Plus it's the Challenge, people hook up all the time even if they  have a bf/gf at home.

yall gotta stop putting stock into these things. some of these ppl are just looking to have fun. lol

No offense but as Kailah said, you can be dumb af and have a college degree. It's really not a good indication of intelligence. Coming from someone with a college degree, I think that's true, I've seen plenty of people make it through college that I don't consider smart at all.

Not saying that CT is stupid by any means, but just throwing that out there as people always love to bring up higher education as an indication of intelligence for some reason.
